Rules

• Game starts at night zero.  No killing actions may be made on Night 0
• During the day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
• You may not vote No Lynch- if anyone votes no lynch, even as a troll vote, I will randomly mod kill someone ELSE from your faction
• If no player reaches the half majority I will randomly mod kill one player from the bottom half of the post count
• After the day, the game goes to night.
• The game thread is closed during the night. Only mafia may speak to each other at night.
• All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
• The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
• After the night, the game goes to day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
• You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
• When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.
• Various Sanity's may or may not be in play
• Various role modifiers may or may not be in play
• Mafia has Day Talk

ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED.

• ​All players are required to post a minimum 3 times per day. Any player who does not meet the required post counts will be subject to a mod kill. A mod kill and a lynch may both happen at my discretion. If multiple players do not meet the requirement, each player may be subject to a mod kill at my discretion.

 

Geralt sipped his ale and smiled. He picked up a bag and tossed it in his hand.  The bag was heavy, as it should be, for it was filled with his winnings from a game of Gwent.  Easy money... he thought.  Hell, it didnt even require him to risk his life and kill any monsters.  Geralt was a Witcher, a monster hunter for hire.  And the world was never short on monsters to kill.  He downed the last few drops of his ale and got up.  It was getting late and he had a long journey planned to Skellige, so he needed the rest.  As he started to leave a woman approached him.  She was in her 40's frail and dirty.  She was terrified, shaking. 

 

"Its you, Geralt of Riva, the famous witcher!  Please sir I need your help.  its my boys... they went missing.  Can you find them??"

 

"Im sorry I dont have time for this..." Geralt said and pushed past her.

 

"They are just children.  7 and 11.  Please help me, I dont know where else to go."

 

Geralt ignored the woman and walked away.

 

"I can pay" she said, holding a bag of gold out.

 

"How much?"

 

"125 Crowns!"  She said.

 

Geralt shook his head.  "Not enough, sorry."

 

The woman started to cry.  "My husband... he has gold.  We can give it to you when you find out children.  Please..."

 

"Fine, but the 125 crowns up front."

 

The woman smiled and threw him the bag of money.  Geralt followed the woman outside and called to Roach....

The contracts are a really interesting dynamic. To me they have to be generated one of two ways:

 

1) The scum faction (or factions) can submit names to be included on the list.

or

2) The list is randomly generated by Brewers.

 

If #1 is accurate then it basically verifies both Kazio and I as town.

 

 

During the night, I receive a list of players to target. I can decide to kill one of the players to complete the contract or ignore the list

 

On Night 0, I received your name

On Night 1, I received a contract to kill myself

 

This might explain why brewers extended the deadline last night phase. Some night actions might depend on other actions

I could see a townie submitting a name, too. Effectively that would be a vigilante that requires a second player to confirm the kill.

I suppose so but a Town Vigilante acting on a night 0 or night 1 is pretty reckless, don't you think? Unless they are forced to act on a certain night or every night that would seem to be a stretch.

I know I’m town and I know I was not told who the Witcher was not was I told I could put in a contract. Canik says he is town and doesn’t know who the Witcher is, so I do not believe that town would know and be able to put in contracts, unless it’s just vanilla townies that knows and can put in contracts, but that wouldn’t make a ton of sense to me, having played one of the games.

 

I didn’t avoid voting, I just didn’t vote because it was D1 and any one person was as likely to be scum as another, and by the time I would’ve voted there was already enough votes placed, so I saw no reason to.

Unless I'm missing a vote it looks like the only vote that has been cast so far today is Kevin voting for Velocity. I remind you all that someone needs to get to the half-majority for a lynch otherwise Brewers randomly kills someone.

Unless something better comes up I think voting for SealTeamPi is the right way to go for now. He only has 5 posts total, Brewers is looking for a replacement and may not find one, and STP voted for Wolfpacks yesterday (a now known townie) for a silly reason.

 

However, I am also tempted to vote for Lord MK for his low post count as well and not much contribution from him overall.

It could also be brewers selects somebody and tells them they have to provide a name. giving the person an option. 

 

 

For literally ignoring the fact I role claimed and the town is already choosing another player to vote It's already too late to voice your opinion because Rafay is already lynched.

 

That is true, i mentioned that i didn't see the role claim. At the time i was glazing over the posts, usually checking in the morning getting ready for work. Pretty big mistake on my part obviously. 

 

I would like to say that sticking with the pack isn't exactly a town move, It's easier to blend in with numbers. Not to mention it being a D1 lynch, where it's already a random vote to lynch. 

 

What was the reason behind Rafay's lynch? Nothing. Because it was D1 and that's just what happens. Just as my vote was thrown on you due to your vote hopping. If i saw the RC earlier on, it could have influenced my vote but it's to late now.

 

If we treated D1 as any other day, then we would be analyzing you for being on the town lynch wagon. But we aren't

 

 

 

Personally, this gives off scum vibes for me. It's like scum planning to have a possibility to make a case against me.

 

Or it's called having an opinion. May not be the popular one, but i like to voice it regardless.

If STP doesn't get replaced before deadline, i plan on voting for him. If he does get replaced, then i guess it will be D1 v2.

Town Theory - Most active. Has made Townie posts urging activity, seeming to give due consideration to things, analyzing.
Scum Theory - Didn't vote for anyone until Rafay towards the end of D1. Has not applied strong pressure towards many people, might be avoiding it because if he only does it to Town he could leave a trail. If he does it to his fellow scum, he might get them lynched.

Town Theory - Active. Had provided accurate Unofficial Vote Count updates. Has added to the discussion at times.
Scum Theory - Voted MK early, it could be innocent or it could be to increase the appearance of townness. When Kazio made his roleclaim, KevinH said the claim seemed legit and changed his vote to Rafay following the flow. It almost read as if he'd been voting for Kazio but he had not, a tad strange this. Fingered non-voting 'lurkers', D2 said Velocity not voting wasn't necessarily suspect, everyone seemed town, then after myself and Kazio not liking this he gave the vote analyze I would have expected in the first place and voted for Velocity. This doesn't absolutely prove his guilt but it feels flip-floppy and suspect to me.

Town Theory - Active. Made some Town-ish posts and considerations on D2
Scum Theory - Voted Wolfpacks and kept his vote there. Was he scared to move his vote around? Scum can worry about moving their vote around as I mentioned in TheWarrior's Scum Theory. Make a lot of moves against that you, as scum, KNOW are Town and you can leave a trail. It's either that or you have to make some moves against your fellow scum. Also Robert was Wolfpacks number 1 choice and who was killed during the night. 

CM
Town Theory - Active. I'm not sure if I can say anything else Town about CM.
Scum Theory - Voted for Kazio and kept his safely kept his vote there. Hasn't done much except defend himself.

Velocity
Town Theory - Active. Hasn't done anything to hide in the crowd. His best defense may be how scummy he's been. xD
Scum Theory - Hasn't done much, if anything, to scum hunt, pressure people or help town. Only joking and defending himself.

MK
Town Theory - Somewhat Active.
Scum Theory - Voted early for Rafay and stayed there all D1.

STP
Town Theory - Joined a wagon early before going inactive. A somewhat risky move for scum.
Scum Theory - Inactive. And as scum making risky counter-intuitive moves can be a good way to hide.

I did see when CM said that and accounted for it in my head, not listing STP as a top suspect, but that's a fair thing to point out Velo.

Additionally, I didn’t have any strong scum reads yesterday. I chose to go with Rafay because of anyone he was more suspect to me yesterday due to him voting for kazio and accusing him of flip flopping (which I didn’t really see).

 

As far as pressuring people goes, no one really has done that. I am still wanting more from Lord MK though.

Just don't add your vote to someone with 3-4 votes on them. That I could understand. Until the very end of the day, of course.

The reason why i initially voted for rafay, was just for lolz, but then as the day progressed, he started acting weirder than usual.

So i stayed on.

I didn't have pretty much anything else to say, as no information was really revealed.

Same goes for today.

Except the fact that this is probably not a role madness game, as we have 2 dead VTs.

And analysing the rafay wagon isn't really good for anything, Rafay seems borderline scum that most people just want to vote for him.
