The turn of the century has been monumental.

This would be the century when Western civilization arose and collided with the Islamic empires. Gunpowder came to replace swords as the dominant power of warfare. The Catholic forces of Europe is set to collide with Sunni Ottomans.

The century where empires arose.

The 16th century is nigh upon us. Will you be able to make it out alive?

3. Robert2424, Rafay, the self-proclaimed civil rights activist, has been lynched on Day 6.

4. Kaziocore, Wei Zhongxian, an Imperial Chinese eunuch, was mod killed on Day 4.

5. Francis Walsingham (KevinH), the legendary spymaster, has been killed on night 1.

6. Rafay, Suleiman I, Sultan of the ottoman empire, was lynched on day 3.

7. Dontavian, Galileo Galilei, Famous astronomer, was murdered in cold blood, on night 2.

8. The Warrior, Sebastien Michaelis, Inquisitor, was killed on Night 5.

9. iSocialism, Mumtaz Brewers, was lynched on Day 4.

12. Lyner, Pope Julius II, was assassinated on night 4.

 

Rules:

• During the day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
• If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the day, they are lynched.
• At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
• If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
• You may vote no lynch.
• After the day, the game goes to night.
• The game thread is closed during the night. The mafia may speak to each other at night.
• All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
• The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
• After the night, the game goes to day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game or nothing can prevent that from happening.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
• You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
• When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.

• Active Participation Rule:

  All live players must make a minimum of 3 meaningful posts in the game thread per game day. Any player who does not meet the 3 post minimum on a given day will be subject to being mod-killed unless a legitimate reason for the lack of posting is communicated privately to the game mod. (In the event that something comes up that will prevent you from playing actively, please alert the mod so that a potential replacement can be found.) If multiple players have not met the post minimum on a given day, the player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed.

Game days will last seven days until there are fewer than seven players remaining. Then they will last as many days as there are players

left. Game Nights will last 48 hours.

I voted for Daviesolu precisely because he was going to die anyway. I’d rather vote for someone who is definitely not going to contribute at all than someone who is at least here and has claimed a town role (no matter how convenient such a claim was).

 

I fail to see how me actually putting myself on record with a vote for a now known townie is any MORE suspicious than what you or anyone else did by playing it safe and not voting for someone who would end up being confirmed as town. Don’t you think a smarter play for me to make (if I was scum) would have been to say nothing at all just like everyone else since I would have known that Daviesolu would turn up as town?

Where is nadarr?

 

I feel like nadarr has gotten really quiet recently. Anything to add to this game/share?

It could go both ways tho. I mean a scum would just say why would I want to single myself out like that when he was gonna die. So basically you could intentionally put yourself out there and be like "I'm smarter than that" when it's just hiding in plain sight.

But because of the mod kill and completely inactive player we basically have nothing to go off.

 

If we could have had a decent wagon we could have maybe learned something.

 

All we know is my scum is the inactive team theory might not be true. It still could be partially right but as of right now I'm not very sure.

 

I still think Rafay is a good choice since he historically pushes a Kevin kill early when scum. Otherwise I would suggest it would be another vet player who knows Kevin could strike trouble for the scum. The dontavian kill is interesting tho.

But also, it's still early and lots of people haven't even commented yet so until they do

Well looks like Robert is stuck voting for Rafay no matter what. Kind of feel bad for him since he can't do anything this game. Tho making a townie not have any power in who they vote for seems like a strange role. Especially if Rafay is town, the role would only serve to hurt the town and that seems kind of counter productive. But I also don't think MK would force a vote on the scum every single day as that would be OP and kill them too.

 

Perhaps Robert needs to tell us exactly what his role says. Did you pick Rafay and now are just locked into him or did MK pick Rafay for you?

Also TW u and Kazio voted for Daviesolu yesterday, fully knowing that he will die either way at the of Day 2, instead of pressuring Rafay

I was pressured to vote for Daviesolu because 1) he has never posted in the game and this might fit brewer's theory that scum could be composed of inactive players 2) I thought I might be modkilled and there was time to swing the votes to the inactive player

which is why I think it is more likely he wouldnt force a vote to be stuck on a scum if the vote was random.  however if robert got to pick who his vote was placed on then u could be scum and it could just be robert voting u like usual.

the dontavian kill was weird.

 

brand new player.  there are lots of people here who would probably not have advocated for that lynch since it would seem like an ass hole thing to do.   KevinH died n1.  Rafay is always saying how good kevin is and always targets him early as scum.  And knowing rafay's play stile, I also feel he would be okay with killing a brand new player right off the bat.  

 

he might be town, but even when he is town, we can never distinguish his play from scum and tons of times we just get bogged down on "is he or isnt he scum" and then something happens which usually fucks over the town

 

I say best case hes scum and we get a kill

 

worst case we save time from what will eventually delay/derail us
