I'm not sure when the replacement will happen, but i figured i might as well give some clarity. The RC i used was half true. I was indeed infected on N2, the same night i targeted STP and found he used a protective action.

 

So in recap,

 

N1 i targeted brewers, who used a protective action

 

N2 i targeted STP, who also used a protective action. But sadly i was also infected that night. 

 

N3 i was revived by someone.

At this point, if I said TW is "not Mafia" everyone will know that I'm a cop, scums included. Which means I'd be dead on N2.

 

 

yeah but you implied bloodhound, which is even more powerful than cop and could out the mafia the exact same way as a regular cop, so by that logic they would be just as motivated to kill u. 

 

Disagree, bloodhound is totally useless when used alone as we can't determine which guy is mafia. From MK & CM's testimony we can conclude that cult can recruit everyday. This means as each day passes bloodhound's accuracy for getting a mafia also decreases. The end result is we can't distinguish between mafia and infected.

 

And mafia is far more dangerous. We will still lose even if we are all getting infected, as we can't determine which guy is mafia without cop. They can slowly kill us.

there are roles that can bring back cult members, there are roles that can stop infections and there are revival roles for tree stumps.

 

and i disagree, we need to kill ALL scum not just mafia.   even if u get a result as non mafia that person could still be anti town.  so even using your logic, the way you framed your results hurts town.  you claimed your investigations were confirmed to be town.  but thats not true.  you have zero knowledge of it they are town or not town.  

 

plus u got a town on CM when he was infected and CM straight up admitted to being infected so that definitively shows the shortcomings of your strategy and is why it makes me question your honesty.  If torres never came out and contradicted you, we would have been operating under the assumption that CM is confirmed town, when in fact all you really knew was he was not a member of the mafia.  i just dont understand why you would mislead the town.  because thats what you were doing.  even if you think Cop is more powerful, you still were misleading the town by telling us the roles came back as town and are confirmed town, because based on being a cop, you cannot confirm anyone you investigated is town. 

 

question for kevin:  if the cop investigates a member of the mafia and that member was infected by the cult, would they show up as not mafia since they are now in the cult or mafia since they still have the mafia win condition?  

 

if kevin says they would be not mafia since they are in the cult then that further decreases the value and makes this even more perplexing to me.  

and you said you were hiding from the mafia since as a cop they would want to kill you.  well as a bloodhound why would they want to kill u less?  a result of "mafia" or "not town"  would have the same damning effect and end up in that person being lynched, so how does hiding your role actually protect you?  All it did was cause a misconception that the people you investigated were town and not of any type of scum faction

 

Either way, MK is an admitted scum so he should be lynched.  but I am just finding it hard to trust your claim, as hiding the truth does not really benefit town in any way

Infected Mafia have Duality. They will appear as Infected (Cult) and also as Mafia, depending on who does the investigation.  There is not a Role Cop in this game, but if there was they would get both roles.

Yes but our even night reviver is dead. Best route would be kill MK now then revive him night 5 with our odd night reviver. (Assuming that's what we have since the only revival was on an odd night)
And while I don't understand lyner's actions he isn't a confirmed scum. MK is. So how is this even a debate on who to Lynch?

Reading what’s been posted since I’ve been gone, I concur with brewers. MK would be the best bet, just for now.

Sure, it misleads town. I concede that. But practically, tell me one thing that would be different from the past few days' result based on my fake results. On day 2 the only confirmed non-mafia are me and TW. It's still a good idea to protect us over random townies. The same thing happens on day 3. Say I honestly stated that CM is "not Mafia". Then what? Torres would still come out saying he's infected. 

 

We can't guarantee that someone is town, because a cult leader exists. Every town results should be seen with caution, even if it comes from bloodhound as cult can convert confirmed townies. To add to the confusion, infected town/mafia can be killed & revived and still retain their original allegiance.

 

Meanwhile, I can guarantee that someone is definitely not mafia, dead or alive. 

 

Sure it might impact the choice targeting of some power roles, but I bet it won't be much different if I said "not Mafia" instead.

 

So, that's the trade-off I considered

I still don't trust you but like I said MK has admitted to being scum and we win by killing the scum So we kill MK and then whoever our revivers revives them and what do you know we have a town again So we get rid of a cult and get a town back

So our tracker would be wasting their actions on someone else as lyner would anyways do it.

So if we follow brewer's plan, we lose the chance to catch 2 scum.
One is lyner and the other is the killer tonight, which if lyner is lynched today, has to be someone else and thus a chance to catch that target for trackers and watchers.

Also, the best plan is not to lynch me.
It's to lynch lyner, revive Dontavian, who is the deprogrammer and then he deprogram me.

CM, before you leave us, maybe try voting for lyner. You were infected before and that sucks, but you were able to come back, but scum can't.
So lyner's death would reduce the scum's chances.

One scum down is always better as that means one less source of death.

This is a no reveal game with cults. Getting a town result / not mafia result are pretty much the same, they are both unreliable.

 

 

Also there is still a possibility that MK is infected mafia. Too bad it's very hard to verify that now.
