This way when they are scum, they can vote to lynch on Day 1 and honestly claim that's what they always do.

Why do you always want to lynch somebody?

The only way the town can win is by lynching. If we Lynch someone on day 1 we can analyize wagons and voting patterns.

If we no Lynch we gain nothing. Plus depending on even or odd players if you no Lynch day 1 you can actually lose a day and reach lylo earlier
I've done the research before but lynching on day 1 over the long run gives town a better chance of winning instead of no Lynch.

Losing a townie day 1 doesn't really hurt too bad but we do have about a 1/4 chance of getting scum and getting a scum day 1 makes it almost impossible for them to win

But the iron community as a whole always votes no Lynch day 1. Which makes these days pointless. I don't get why we don't just do a 48 hour day 1. We never do anything so it's just a waste of time

I actually agree, but no one is annoyingly inactive (Torres got close but is doing better now), and frankly I'm not really getting a scummy vibe from anyone yet, so idk who a fair lynch would be. Sticking with no lynch for now, but we've got a few more RL days to change minds if anyone has anything useful

Of course we're going to have mis-lynches.  That's the nature of the game.  With more Townies than Scum, that's the way the numbers work.

 

I'm still on the fence with the whole day 1 lynch/no lynch argument.  I tend to fall aggressive but can see both sides.
