Because the wagon on Torres had momentum. By targeting Robert, at worst I rid the town of someone who isn't contributing and is on our scum radar already for how he's playing. I also don't believe there is a single role in the game that can self determine if it was targeted by a tracking role.

 

If you are claiming that I was scum and that scum also had one of the roles that can track like watcher or voyeur AND was active enough to inform me of the result of their action since the start of the day, then you are making a lot of assumptions in order to throw suspicion on me.

 

There is a N2 Vig in the game (me as I have claimed) so either I targeted and killed Robert on night 2, and that explains the lack of an additional kill, or our N2 vig is dead or inactive or was role blocked. The scum had even less reason to target Robert than they did lww in my opinion. Robert was actively distracting the town and being detrimental to our ability to discuss and reach consensus, leaving him alive would have helped them.

As for CoD, there are a few scenerios

Option a) he's the vig and town and telling the truth

Option b ) he's the vig but scum and kind of telling the truth, as the scums kill could have failed and they had two kills with the vig

Option c) he's lying completely and just scum

C is the least likely since obviously the real vig could just counter him tomorrow. His reasoning of killing robert does make sense as robert was not really helping town and was a distraction like he said, however it could also be a smart play as scum, as we could over look him and he could be accidentally "confirmed" as town even tho he's the mafia vig. Tho overall, with his pushing of torres, I think he's probably town
