Costs (of not explicitly role claiming): We could have lynched somebody else - a scum (or of course, a townie). But instead, power goes to scum since they could NK someone else they are sure is not scum.

Benefits (of explicitly role claiming): Same as if you didn't explicitly do so. Since if you're a cop, scum would have to consider whether the doc would protect you or not.

But with added benefits, the doc would be more certain to protect you with the knowledge of your cop role. Plus, we could lynch somebody else instead today.

@KevinH - You have nothing else to lose. It's time to role claim or die. When your back is to the wall you have to do what is best for you and the town. Falzis and the impending dead line has made it clear that it's time for you to role claim.

Your "I told you so" defence sucks. And it won't do anything to convince me.

I've given all of my reasons for asking you to reveal your role information. I'm not going to keep pushing you for it, it's your own decision. But you're not helping anyone. Not even yourself.

If you flip town, feel free to say I told you so (It'd be a waste of your time, but feel free to say it anyway). But I'm not so sure that's how you'll flip.

The only reason I can think of why you won't role claim despite the inevitability of your lynch is that if you survive D1, you will have to prove to us townie your role (ie. if you claim cop, we'll ask you who you investigated).

I'm not buying the "keep the scum in the dark until i die" argument as rebutted above.

The longer it takes Kevin to role claim to save his own skin the more I am convinced that we are making the right decision. Only time will tell.

Maybe i wasn't clear enough when it came to the rules...you still can't talk during the night. It's during twilight that you can talk.

How would you if you don't try? You got Theo. Martino and EM, reading their posts, are hesitant and might give you a second chance.

Oh well if the deadline is really today guess I'll sleep a little bit later I'm in suspense. I just don't get why you'll hint at a power role and not go all the way.

Now you got me confused. Earlier you told us that you had been dropping clues from your role PM in your early posts. Then you blamed me and a few others for not picking them up. If you are not a townie, how could we have picked them up? And that is just the main problem I have with you in this game. You've been making very little sense. One post you are voting for someone because someone said that you should, in the next you are going back to no lynch because someone else thought it was a good idea. In one post you are hinting to be a townie, in the next you are hinting to be a pro town power role.

I'll also echo mole's statement regarding the Jester role. The thought that he could be a jester also crossed my mind. But I think it is a terrible role and I refuse to adapt my playstyle to that possibility.

From the hints that KevinH dropped...I thought he may be a cop. He said he wanted to follow the cop and used the word investigate in one of his posts. However, he still hasn't roleclaimed so now I'm thinking he's actually scum pretending to be a cop.

The option is still there if enough players choose to pursue it. We do not have to lynch anybody. The scum could get their night kill blocked. We could go into day 2 without losing anyone.

I apologize for the confusing use of the word townie. I always only meant to say I was pro-town.
