What? It was established that the mafia knows that EM is the demon they are controlling? Where did we establish that? I remember you don't even agree that the controllers know the people they are controlling.

also while i'm on the subject, i dont believe the summoner/wizards(the controllers) have any idea of who the controlled are, which explains why i'm able to protect myself. if the controller decided to protect me at night, there would need to be a chance for the protection to work, if it were impossible for me not to protect myself, it would give my role away to the controller. so thus i believe Narsis threw that in there on the off chance of it being needed. but of course i'm playing guess the mod's thought process again

You really don't like me... You're always scrutinizing my every move. Even the slightest mistake or something I made, you make it look like I'm a scum. When you can't find any mistake yet, you're saying that you feel that I (and falzis) are scum.

And I don't see why you'll vote for me just because I said something like that. And how would you know that the summoners were told that if they died, their summoned beings would act freely? Narsis could have not deliberately told that info so the summoners would guess it for themselves. They'll think things like maybe their summoned beings will die once the controller or summoner dies but since EM told us that it's not the what will really happen, the controllers now know the whole thing.

but y would narsis tell the controlled that they can move freely when the summoner dies but not the summoner? and if the setup is the way your suggesting then its 4 mafia vs 8 town i doubt its like that

it could be 2 mafia and 1 self aligned summoner that could control the controlled like me or EM. that also brings up the fact of the summoners night actions.

if he is infact controlling EM and myself then maybe he can only do 1 action per night either kill or protect, which could explain the only 1 death on night 1.

Definitely not your normal game setup.

What to do we know so far...
1. KevinH was a pro-town vig wizard.
2. Martino was a townie.
3. EM was a self-aligned SK who said he cannot control his actions until his controller dies.

What have some roleclaimed...
1. AoD has the doc ability but like EM cannot control his actions (ie. controller)
2. SJ has the cop ability (visions at night) but cannot direct his visions.

Why should I stop the trending?
It helps me collect my thoughts and it will serve a purpose (as more info) later in the game.

Why are you being so defensive?
It is merely my opinion.
It is D3, surely you must have formed your own opinions on who is townie and is scummy.

I may not have generated an extensive post on why I think you two are scummy but I've outlined my reasoning in my previous posts. If I believe the others to be townies, then those I am unsure of will fall to the category of townie/mafia.

I've re-read your posts and I am fairly certain (90%) that you are not a vanilla townie. So you are either a pro-town power role or mafia. Since it seems that we already have 3 pro-town power roles you are most likely mafia.

Secondly, what's bad about your trending is you keep on repeating that you think junk and I are scum without necessarily giving POSITIVE material as to why we are scum. Your only basis is the NEGATIVE material, that in if others are townies, then we are scum. But that assumes that you are correct in your assessment of their townieness. Yes you are entitled to your opinion but the quality of that is questionable, and even then, to accuse others of scuminess, you must provide, again, POSITIVE material. =.=

I don't know why you are giving AoD a free pass despite his incoherence on D2. Isn't that a scum tell of hanging onto straws and pulling random stuff out of thin air? Plus as I've said, EM said he is controlled. AoD said he is controlled too. SJ said he has no control of his powers (that's different from saying he is controlled too). Parallelism would tell us that AoD is more likely scum since he is being controlled, presumptively by the same person who controlled EM (unless there is a counterpart to the evil controller, which would mean a good controller?). SJ's situation isn't parallel because he is not controlled (as far as I can interpret from what he has revealed) per se but he has no control of his powers.

Could you be CD the controller trying to defend AoD? Absolve him of suspicion? You are a veteran. You could have killed Martino. You could have chosen not to NK on N2. Everything that you've hunched about could apply to you.

But lastly, I am also not putting mole or junk out of the equation. As it stands, mole is still the one who pushed for the lynch of a proven townie (KevinH) - it might be misguided but it could also be a capitalization. Junk's lying low also reeks of suspicion but again I have no POSITIVE material as of yet to concretize that suspicion.

Interesting points about AoD. Indeed his case is a bit different from SJ. AoD actions certainly looks scummy but all of his scummy posts could be explained by the fact he is contolled by another (ie. controller/summoner). I have no doubt that AoD would have been hanged if he shared everything in his role PM....it would have sounded ludicrous. Does this give AoD a free pass...for now it does since we are not in a LYLO situation yet.

We have an apparently doc that has roleclaimed and yet we have no one else coming forth to dispute this fact. Why are you in a rush to lynch a possibly doc?

And like I said...I'm most certain that you (Falzis) is not a vanilla townie.
Therefore my vote will remain on you.

Maybe the real doctor doesn't want to out themselves for a claim that might be true, or wants to try and push the lynch without Everyone knowing his role.

i know for a fact that if i came right out with "hi i'm a doctor that has no control of who i protect and cant protect anyone of my choice until the person controlling me dies" would have gotten me lynched on the spot.

I don't know if I've said this already, but had you said that, and given us the theme that came with your Role PM and the detail, then I would have been more likely to believe you. The way you are drip-feeding us extra things just seems like desparation.

I really need to look up when AoD tagged on the controller thing. Perhaps someone else can answer this, but - did AoD mention the controller BEFORE EM's claim or only after?

@SJ - Could you please clarify your whole 'controller' situation? What do you see when you look into people's souls? Do you spot just an alignment, or do you see a role? This information could be very useful.

The term summoner was first introduced by AoD on pg 26. The term controller was widely used since EM stated a wizared "controlled" his actions. So I'm not skimming...I read.

Sir Jesus has backed me into a corner with his insistence that I am scum. His role claim has all but put the final nail in my coffin and I don't see how I am going to talk my way out it. So instead of pleading for my life in vain I'm going to go out and at least take someone with me.

First of all, I am scum. Sir Jesus knows this and that is why he is so adamant to get me killed, but there is something that he is not telling you, he is scum also. If he wants to take me down, he's going back to hell with me. Let me tell you the naked truth.

I am a demon, an evil murdering demon, whose sole purpose was to kill every single one of you and be the last one left alive. I get to kill at night when you're all sleeping peacefully in your beds. I am the one that most likely killed Martino, but I am not sure. You see, my actions are controlled by a dark wizard who chooses my target for me each night. Only after the wizard is killed am I free to kill whom ever I choose. I never knew who the wizard was until Sir Jesus was so adamant about killing me.

Sir Jesus is attempting to appear as a townie by leading the charge for my death. When I am killed, my alignment would be revealed and Sir Jesus would be trumpeted as the mighty hero who slayed the demon.

Kill me yes, for I would kill each and everyone of you if I could, but do not be fooled by Sir Jesus. If I am to die I at least want the satisfaction of bringing down the wizard responsible for it.



Don't kill me just yet though, as I would love to respond to what SJ has to say about this.

and since EM set the precedent i might as ell follow. i am a golem, and like EM i dont have a choice of who i protect until the summoner who controls me dies.

and with that instance i believe EM is lying about SJ. if SJ was in fact the one controlling him, it would be stupid of him to kill the one person who allows him to kill at night. unless he controls 2 people, which is not completely impossible. as i've said EM seems to be trying to bring someone down with him to give the scum a chance and to knock out the cop role at the same time.

IF the mafia wizard is able to only choose to one type of night action to perform.
For example...
1. To Night Kill via demon (EM).
2. To protect himself via golem (AoD).

The need to protect himself is obvious since it is confirmed that we had a pro-town wizard vig (KevinH).

I hope I made it clear that that was my feeling as well. I take this "drip feeding" to be Angel of Doom to be learning about what Narsis's role PMs looked like as he went. It was after people explained why they believed a certain role claim more than his that he would tailor it and poof now it produced those qualities. This is the reason why I FOS'd him yesterday and why I have my vote locked in for him today.

As to the question of why someone would vote for a doc role claim if their is no counterclaim; I think it is plain. We would not be any closer to knowing the real doctor if we had a counter claim. We would no doubt be debating over which was more convincing until our finger bled. I hope that our real doctor will not role claim and his identity stays a secret.
