Why may i ask am i top of the list?

 

While i am saddened that the lynch was the wrong one, I still think that lynch was out best option at the time, in a game with deadlines we had to make a decision and we did. Unfortunately i was one of the ones to make the wrong one, now if i'm correct there aren't many left, the odds of randomly picking a scum are much higher but we still need to work hard

It's telling that vgmaster was the one who the scum chose to kill. They want us to think that whoever voted for killing Narsis is a scum suspect and by eliminating one of those who voted, we'd choose either Oranges or EM giving us a 50% chance. This could deflect suspicion from KevinH and Canucks, who might be in collusion.

 

Canucks voted for Kevin early on maybe to avoid scum suspicion but it's still Kevin's logic and willingness to lynch on day one, which goes against his previous playing styles, that is bothering me. My current and limited knowledge of the game, Kevin's action would really seem illogical because I think a no lynch at Day One would have been better since we'd only lose one townie, and whatever information that can be gleaned from votations on that day is hard to analyze for scum tells.

 

I don't think EM is scum for the reason that the person he replaced had to be prodded to participate and relinquished voluntarily, which means the role is likely a townie - not interesting enough to log on and participate with effort.

 

So my list would be as follows:

 

1. KevinH

2. CanucksDynasty / Orange (interchangeable)

3. Electronic Mango

On the lynch:

 

With only 2 scum I highly doubt that both of them would vote to lynch the same person. This would seem highly illogical. I do think that one scum did vote for him and the other did not. This is typically what happens in most games I have played in.

 

Narsis - 3 (vgmmaster, Electric Mango, Oranges)

 

Obviously vgm is not scum. By my logic that leaves me and Oranges and I know that I am definitely pro-town so I have a strong FOS at Oranges. He hasn't done anything that sets off my scumdar but I would have to put him towards the top of my list of suspects.

 

KevinH - 2 (CanucksDynasty, Falzis)

Falzis - 1 (KevinH)

 

Out of the other 3, it's hard to decide. Kevin seems to be playing outside of his normal playing style but with good reason. CD has been pretty straight forward where he usually says at least one thing that leaves a strong impression of me. Falzis has been very active and posted good content, especially for a newer player to the game. Overcaffeinated would say that this is a scum tell but I find it helpful and town like. He's probably at the top of my pro-town choices. I have him pegged as the cop/doc.

 

 

The Nightkill

 

Vgm was killed, but why vgm? She has the most or at least very close to the most mafia wins out of anyone. She's an aggressive player that puts pressure on people almost from the get go. I would think that an experienced player was the one to pull the trigger but that could really be anyone here. Falzis is the only new player and his partner would have several games under their belt as well. It's tough to draw a conclusion on gain clues from her death.

 

 

Power Roles

 

We still have a cop/doc. If we have a cop we need them to role claim right now. They need to tell us who they investigated and the results. Today's lynch is very important as it is do or die time for the town. I still believe we have a doc over a cop though.

 

As CD said, I need to go back and read everything again. I encourage everyone else to do so as well.

Why do you believe these things? One option has neither a cop nor a doc.

 

What evidence is there that there is a doc over a cop?

 

One thing is true: with 3 townies to 2 scum, if we lynch wrong, we will lose.

Kevin is really on the top of my FOS. He has contributed little and not answering suspicions on him directly and head on. He wasn't very perturbed at the fact that we lynched on Day One and that it was wrong because it's putting us at a disadvantage now (see his post on page 5).

 

Oranges is very suspicious as well, playing low key and of course voting for Narsis but I don't have much to go on. EM is acting ok with the analysis and explanations, and of course my own inference that his role couldn't be scum since it wasn't interesting enough for the player he replaced.

 

Canucks posted an FOS list with no explanation why that is the ranking so I hope he posts again or else it's very suspicious.

 

With that said, I'm pushing for Kevin's head.

You were on the top of the list because between you and EM, I think you are scummier because you were zero-ing in on Narsis for a double-bluff. EM is second cuz if you are townie...then he'd be scum. So my incorrect reason to vote Narsis was worse than EM's wrong reason? I just don't understand your logic here. I can understand that i would be near the top of people's scum lists but can't see why i'm higher on your list then EM based on your reasons.

 

Secondly, Falzis claims I'm playing it low key despite the fact i was the main pusher for the lynch of Narsis. Makes no sense...

 

And Electric Mango just put KevinH in a precarious position as if without thinking about it!

You reach his house, and realise you have made a terrible mistake...

As the four remaining townspeople gather in KevinH's small flat, a shudder passes along two of the remaining townsfolk. They were out numbered.

i have a feeling that the town lost because of Falzis's inexperience...but meh.

 

so when's the next game?

CD and I knew that if we could just get one townie to vote for another townie that we would quickly doggie pile and drop the 2nd and 3rd hammer votes. No one should have voted until the town had a clear consensus.

 

Kevin, why didn't you role claim cop once the 2nd day started? It was lynch or lose for the town and if you role claimed cop and told us the results then you and Falzis would have been in the clear. The town would have a 2/3 chance of lynching scum today.

EM is correct on both counts.

 

More discussion should have taken place before voting on Day 2. It was an anxious hour from the time I voted to the time EM voted. I was afraid Falzis would realize I'm scum for voting or KevinH/Oranges would quickly point out that.

 

And KevinH should have roleclaimed and pointed out his findings. Unless EM or I counter-claimed...that would leave only Oranges as the other suspect.

OMG I JUST KNEW CANUCKS WAS MAFIA... yeah no one will believe me. But I thought it were the two of them... ****tard I am.

The problem with Kevin claiming so early (in my opinion) is town might think he's scum taking advantage of the possibility of there being no cop so there'd be nobody to counter claim so somebody might have voted for him anyways. Should he have done it eventually, probably. But not right from the get go. But I do agree how their should have been more talking before such a vote was made on a lynch or lose day.

 

Oh well. Live and learn.
