I believe the issue here is if the mafias move then do a nightkill...

If we don't know who was in what room during the night, we will be looking at a lot of suspects. Especailly with a max spread strategy because we will have many rooms where the mafia could come from. Now, to cover my behind like somebody...

If we can track movement's then Mafia would be at a severe disadvantage.

Mafia can never perform a nightkill in a max spread strategy cuz they would be in the room where the nightkill happened.

Something's not right.

Of course is not right! The max spread strategy is not right, just like the formula you gave me is not right, and you out of all people jumping on me is not right.

@CanucksDynasty are you going to claim this again?

All I did was lay out possiblities.

It was up to you to decide it's merit and what you want to do with it.

Hey, if I am wrong then I will use the above quote too. Is kinda convenient, you think?

Dude, I'm having a hell of a hard time understanding your posts.

IF mafia moves to an adjacent area to do a nightkill and they remain in that area...it tells everyone that they are the mafia (provided no pro-town roles moves into the same area as well).

I, along with many others, assumed that mafia could do a nightkill on an adjacent area but would remain in their original area come daybreak. Thus we would have a harder time finding the mafia.

IF movements can be tracked then there's no point in lynching crazyemolad (100% townie).

I'd rather the town lynch you.

You can say I manipulated all you want but the truth is I didn't.

No one else is saying I did either.

The only reason I can think that you keep harping on this is that you are truly mafia.

And this is the only gambit you can play in order to keep yourself from dying.

I'll say this to everyone.

IF SinKon is lynched and is proved to be townie....then by all means lynch me next.

Hell...I'll even vote for myself.

Also...with the new bit of information...I'm almost 100% certain that EM is townie.

There is no reason for mafia to want to share this info with the town.

Remnants of a tropical storm made me lose power but it's back now.

That would have been bad if it occurred during the 48-hour move phase and lasted a bit longer.

Maybe some of the roles have actions they perform in rooms. There might be a gathering-type role that can collect the special items. They might want to move to an adjacent empty room to gather things rather than compete with another gatherer in the same room.

Will we see where players finish the night prior to moving back to location 5?

No. That would make it far too easy.

But nice try. :P

You guys may have not read this...

Hell...I'll even vote for myself.

But if SinKon is really lynched and it turns out that he's townie, please don't lynch yourself if you are really a townie. It's unnecessary.

Great catch Kazio...

So in essence, we do not get to know where everybody moved to during their night action as we all gather in room 5 in the morning. The only info we get is we know where everyone moved to during the 48hr period.

So...it's back to the original plan then. We break into groups of 3 and stay in our assigned rooms.

Does that sound correct to everyone?

Meh...I think I know how SJ feels for when SinKon kept harassing him.

Anyways...by my townie list...SinKon has about a 50% chance of being mafia.

Yes, though maybe we should wait until after the weekend now. If I vote now, half of the last day will be on Saturday. Waiting will also give crazy some more time to be replaced or become active again. Though especially the later seems rather unlikely at this point.

VOTE COUNT

crazyemolad (6): , FalzisNarsis, Sir Jesus, Kaziocore, KevinH, SinKon

SinKon (4): CanucksDynasty, Electric Mango, Aquinas, Firkked

Falzis (1): Junkahoolik

Not Voting (2): crazyemolad, Martino

With 13 alive, it takes 7 to lynch.

I'm OK with that. I'm usually not online during the weekends. But I can be if necessary.

For my purposes...

Townies

CD (me obviously)

Narsis (provided details in 4 separate room strategy)

Firkked (first to post 4 separate room strategy)

EM (presumably he had the same idea as Firkked...I'll believe him on this one)

KevinH (first to ask if we get to know movements prior to getting back together in Room 5)

Kaziocore (was the first to vote for crazy...not wanting to lynch a possible active townie)

SJ (hunch he's townie)

crazyemolad (most likely townie lynched on D1)

Unknown

Falzis

Aquinas

Suspects

AoD/SinKon - meh...my gut feeling

junkahoolic - outing cop plan and vote on Falzis

Martino - defended SinKon, says he didn't want a bandwagon lynch

i don't like sinkon. but i don't like more the fact that so many people were hard on his case d1 without any solid evidence. then i found it odd a few of them switched easily to crazy as if they didn't really care about who gets lynched.

You do know that Falzis did not vote for SinKon at all right?

The only one to switch votes was SJ.

I'm for sooner the better but understand if we have to wait.

I can't see anything more to discuss until after the lynch.

We also have 24 hrs after the lynch to talk, that will be interesting.

^What he said.

8. After someone has been lynched, discussion continues for 24 hours, along with Location Choosing done by each player.
3. After a player has been lynched, the game thread will remain open for 48 hours. During this time, all players must post which location they are going to move to for the night, using the MOVE: Area 4 or MOVE: Economy Seating format. This is posted in-thread.

So we talk and move for 24 hours, then only move for 24 hours. Is this correct?

You can talk and move for the whole 48 hours.

That's a mistake on my part. My bad.

Edited by molestargazer

well, are you sure that falzis is townie??

Of course not.

But in your above post you mentioned your dislike of people voting for SinKon and then switching over to crazyemolad.

I'm pointing out that Falzis never voted for SinKon.

Yet you voted him for placing that 6th vote on crazyemolad.

come to think of it... i just remembered something from the mage wars game about him. i think i'll trust his meta (even though i hate generalizing from just one game) and UNVOTE for now.
vote: falzis

for trying too much to excuse his vote on a inactive.

i didn't say that... i said i voted for him for "overargumenting" his vote.

Yeah I saw that.

Just wondering why Falzis instead of the many others that voted for crazyemolad.

Ok that somehow cleared up my FOS on you.

Vote: crazyemolad just because deadline's getting near and I can't be the hammer vote because my activity online has been sporadic so I can't assure a hammer vote (although I will make time to be online on the 48 hour thingy room assignments).

I'm getting scum vibes from Sinkon recently though (the whole i-was-manipulated thingy and i-didn't-know-i-win-with-the-town-even-if-i-die thingy... although it could still be chalked up to the newbie card).

i got a feeling that he was telling everyone that it was ok for him to vote for crazy.

well, let me elaborate on that one better...

it seemed to me like he was seeking the towns approval with his arguments. the message i understood is that it's ok for him to vote on crazy since he is inactive and since he isn't the one who is hammering.

Ok... so what's wrong with that?
