Wow. Considering I got two votes in the last 12 hours, I must seems pretty sus to all of you right now. This is my first game, so I don't really know how to play well. I blundered on my D1 telling town to lynch someone but voting NL. I'm not on the chopping block yet, but I'd expect I'll be voted on fairly quickly D3.

Maybe the most helpful and pro-town post so far IMO. Though he did end up having a vote on Lego at the end of the day, still think AbT is more town than anyone.

In case I die tonight -

Rhizo & Samus both have been defensive of Rafay & Lego. Rhizo keeps mentioning AbT seems scummy, Samus voted for him. FB joined in with a vote. Then they backed off since it clearly wasn't happening.

If Rafay turns out to be scum I would be looking very closely at Rhizo/Samus next and possibly Lego & FB as well.

It appears that cooler heads have prevailed and the noose is off my neck.

 

In case I get night-killed:

• If Rafay flips scum, look really hard at those that were on my wagon because they almost had a chance to save him, and don't necessarily clear all those that voted for him because it was an easy way to blend in.
• If Rafay flips town, it will be harder to gauge who is scum but still look at those who were on my wagon.  Rafay as a living townie is probably more preferable to the scum than me as a living townie.

The first week of classes had passed. Harry, Ron, and Hermione already had a decent amount of homework to do and the spectre of an upcoming detention hung over Harry and Ron's head.

 

Harry's stress level would not be decreasing any time soon either. In addition to his homework daily Quidditch practices were starting this week. Oliver Wood made sure to contact the rest of the Gryffindor team immediately after they returned to school to inform them that they would be starting to practice earlier this year. "This year we are going to train harder and longer than anyone else." ("That's what she said" Harry thought to himself.) "We are not going to lose out on the Quidditch Cup again this year. We easily have the best team."

 

On Saturday afternoon the Gryffindor team marched across the grounds towards the Hogwarts pitch. Ron and Hermione tagged along to watch practice. As they neared the Quidditch Pitch a very unwelcomed sight met the Gryffindors. Donning their dark green and silver robes the Slytherin team reached the pitch at the same time as the Gryffindors. Shadowed by the other Gryffindors, Wood walked over to the Slytherins and confronted their captain Marcus Flint. "I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today. What are you doing here, Flint?"

 

"Easy Wood, I've got a note" Flint said. He handed a slip of parchment to Wood who read it aloud.

 

"I, Professor Severus Snape, hereby give my permission to the Slytherin Quidditch team to use the Quidditch Pitch this afternoon in order to train their new seeker."

 

"You've got a new Seeker then?" Wood asked. "Who?"

 

The Slytherin Quidditch team separated and Draco Malfoy stepped forward.

 

"Malfoy?" Harry said.

 

"That's right Potter. And that's not all that's new this year." Malfoy held up his new Nimbus 2001 broomstick. The Gryffindors looked around. All seven of the Slytherin players had Nimbus 2001 broomsticks. "A gift from Draco's father" Flint said as he noted the look of awe in some of the Gryffindor's faces.

 

"At least no one on Gryffindor team had to buy their way in," said Hermione sharply. "They got in on pure talent." The smug look on Malfoy's face flickered. "No one asked your opinion, you filthy little Mudblood," he spat.

 

The rest of the Gryffindor team gasped. Fred's and George's hands clenched into fists. Ron drew his wand and pointed it at Malfoy. "You'll pay for that one Malfoy! Eat slugs!" A small explosion erupted from Ron's wand and blasted him backwards as the curse backfired. Ron's elbow caught George in the side of the head as he flew back and they both fell to the ground. Ron crawled onto all fours and began lurching as if he was sick. He coughed out a giant slug and the Slytherins started howling with laughter.

 

Colin Creevey who had just made his way over to see what was going on put his camera up to his face and snapped a picture of Ron as a second slug was coughed out. "Get out of the way Colin," Harry shouted as he helped Ron to his feet and looked at Hermione. "Let's get Ron to Hagrid's house. He'll know what to do." The three of them hurried off towards Hagrid's hut.

 

Fred and Oliver were tending to George who had been knocked out as he and Ron fell to the ground. They picked him up and carried him back towards the Castle. The Slytherins continued to laugh as the rest of the Gryffindor team followed them back toward the Castle.

 

George Weasley (Rafay) a normal Hogwarts Student has been knocked out on day 2.

Ron continued to spew slugs all the way to Hagrid's Hut. Harry pounded on the large oak front door and they could hear Fang's booming bark inside. Hagrid opened the door. He had a pot of tea in his hand and he stepped aside and let them in. Hagrid grabbed a bucket and handed it to Ron to catch the slugs. After Harry recounted the story of what happened, Hagrid told them that Ron would have to just ride it out and that it would stop soon enough. He then comforted Hermione and re-assured her that she was the most clever witch of her age.

 

Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat in the Common Room later that afternoon. Ron had finally stopped spewing slugs and he was now attempting to copy Hermione's History of Magic essay. The Portrait of the Fat Lady swung open and Professor Dumbledore stepped into the room. He walked over to Harry and Ron. "You will serve your suspensions this evening. Mr. Weasley, you will be polishing all of the silver in the Trophy Room with Mr. Filch and Mr. Potter will be serving his detention with Professor Lockhart this evening." Harry and Ron both groaned.

 

At 8:00 that evening Harry and Ron bid farewell to Hermione and made their way to Lockhart's Office and the Trophy Room respectively. Harry took a deep breath and knocked on Lockhart's door. Lockhart opened the door with a big grin on his face. "Harry! So good to see you. Even though this is detention let's have some fun this evening." "What will we be doing?"  Harry asked. "You get to help me answer my fan mail" Lockhart said with a grin. Harry would have rathered be in the Trophy Room polishing every piece of silver in the school than helping Lockhart.

 

The two of them worked diligently addressing envelopes and signing smiling pictures of Lockhart. Time seemed to be at a standstill to Harry though. As he sat there writing out the address of a witch from Hampton, Lockhart began giving him fame advice. Harry tried to ignore him. They worked on in silence for another half hour.

 

"Let me rip you.. Let me kill you.. Kill.. Kill.. KILL.. KILLLLL..."

 

Harry jumped. Lockhart looked up from the picture that he was signing.

 

"Did you hear that?" Harry asked him.

 

"Hear what?" Lockhart replied.

 

"That voice."

 

"What voice?" Lockhart said looking around tentatively. "I think that you're hearing things my boy." He glanced at the clock on the wall. "And no wonder! We've been here for nearly four hours! Time really flies when you're having fun, doesn't it Harry?"

 

Lockhart excused Harry for the evening. Harry left Lockhart's office wondering to himself whether he had actually heard the strange voice or perhaps whether he had dozed off and imagined it. Harry turned down the next corridor to make his way to the stairs when he heard it again.

 

"I will find you.. I will kill you.. Kill.."

 

The sound quickly moved away from Harry. He went sprinting up the stairs and down the 7th floor hall towards the Fat Lady. Harry crossed the Common Room and went up to his dormitory. Neville, Seamus, and Dean were all asleep in their beds but Ron's was still empty. He had not returned from the Trophy Room yet.

 

A couple minutes later Ron arrived. He reeked of a strong polish. Harry decided that he would tell Ron what had happened to him. Before he could speak however, Ron told Harry what he had witnessed during detention. As he was polishing a large silver Hogwarts crest, Madam Pomfrey had entered the trophy room to speak with Filch. As she was leaving, Peeves came screaming through a nearby wall and rattled a very large shelf. The shelf wobbled and an old Quidditch Cup toppled onto Madam Pomfrey, rendering her unconscious.

 

"It sounds like both of our detention's were eventful then" Harry said. He recounted the story of the voice he heard in Lockhart's office and in the hallway. Ron looked perplexed and was unsure of what to think.

 

Madam Pomfrey (Lyner) a Hogwarts Doctor was knocked out on night 2.

this is what I was saying about the rafay lynch, all of you that voted Rafay are instantly suspects to me, no care for the town at all, the next few days are going to go quickly.

 

As of now we have 15 players left, 4/5 of those are assumingly scum. Which means worst case scenario we have 10 townies left, we carry on this reckless lynching game is over night 5. Think smartly before who you vote for, inactivity is not a reason.

Also good idea if cop doesn't role claim otherwise we're double fucked

Well firstly, my first question would be to Kevin, did you get anything from your PR that would help shine some light on who killed Lyner?  I know you're well experienced, more then me, but I have to suggest that unless it helps with what happened last night you might refrain from presenting it.  If you tracked another PR, we don't want to necessarily get it out there who it is.

 

I told you'll yesterday I was weary of voting Rafay because of his wagons...but you'll continued to do so.  As Samus mentioned, people on that wagon are now more suspicious, as with 9 votes on him, there was scum involved.  

 

So whose part of it...

FB - To be honest, would really of been stupid of him to vote Rafay at the end when Rafay was already a deadman at deadline if he was scum and be associated with a lynch of a town.  Though this could be his intention to make you think he's town

SM - Starting to get more suspicious

1cecream, Canik - Top 2 on my list of suspects at end of D2, both on lynch of Rafay

 

I've already presented where 1cecream contradicted himself early.  He's also made comments about him being new, which to IRON mafia he is.  However, I will have to go back and quote some of his posts, but some as I read them came off like someone who knows the game of Mafia and no stranger to it.  I already mentioned in a earlier post D2 that I would bet one of the new players this game would be a scum, and I already have Lego/D34th feeling more town.  He also was the 5th and important vote on Rafay's wagon, 5th was the amount needed at deadline to lynch (though it ended up having 9 by the end)

 

Canik has also been on my radar lately, and was on the wagon early of Rafay.  Some of his comments have come off scummish, and will go back through some when I get time, but I have a good feeling he's scum, though has tried to paint himself as townish as he can.  Smart player, I've seen him play scum well...I'm just seeing through it.

I find it odd that you don't suspect Finster, who locked up the vote and closed the day, but you suspect me, who acknowledged it was a meaningless vote as there were enough votes to lynch by end of day.
