  1. KevinH, what was your reasoning for pro-lynch earlier in the day?
  2. Why the change. While I enjoy you reading you posts very much, I'm in the dark as to your motivations. You're unfortunately unclear on your rationale, which may be more of a symptom of your role than your reasoning. Could you elaborate on your change in stance? I agree, I'm coming to think we ought to give great credence to Kaziocore's posts. I doubt he'd go to all that trouble for nothing, it's what makes being the Mod interesting. While I think there may be one "killer" behind it all, I doubt there will only be one in the end. I'm wondering why ccabal86 role claimed as well. I didn't comment because I didn't want to draw too much attention to it. I'm uncertain about the wisdom behind the reveal. Anyone have any thoughts about just what a turner could do to us in regards to the end of my last post?
  3. I'm thinking that wasn't meant as an insult. Although I may well deserve it if it is. No. I only meant I'll no longer be playing a jerk. I just wrote a long post where I'd vote for Nerau as well. I can think of plenty of flavor reasons why a converter scum would put into a partial silence flavor role, be he cultist/werewolf/vampire. However, I think It'd be tough to bring the hammer down on Nerau for this, he's not the only quiet one and I am not interested in starting a bandwagon. While I usually want to go for a lynch, here the stakes are even more dire. Lynching a townie means two less townies and one more scum, not just one less townie as is typical. The stakes I think are too high for me at this point. With a few possible, certainly interesting an potentially powerful roles out there I'll wait and see for another night. KevinH could you pen a poem glorifying your pro lynch stance before the day is out. I may be convinced otherwise. Also, this just occured to me. Could the turned townies still be townies in posting? Although they know they know they are scum (or not) and count toward the scum majority, could they maintain their autonomy enough to win with the town and hence be helping in dialogue and hurting in the majority? Freshly turned vampires, incubating parasites, werewolves waiting for a full moon to be realized etc.
  4. Hey guys. I'm back. I'll look over this page tomorrow and post something constructive, but I wanted to check in. I apologize for my earlier posts. I had was assigned a bit of flavor, and it (rightfully so) was not taken very well. I am now able to get back to my normal self. That said, I'll get back to constructive play tomorrow. I look forward to it!
  5. Well excuse me, go ahead with your asinine over analyzation of a few of my words. You're reaching and you know it. Look, no night kill. That means either are scum are dumb or they have some other power they are running with. Maybe they don't lose when we kill the original vampire/warewolf/monster, but they just can no longer convert and only communicate in the night phase. Judging by the flavor of his game (and the effort put in by the mod to make it that way) I think it is an obvious assumption we are dealing with something different here. You'd be stupid not to agree. Maybe they can NK, but only on a limited basis. The details aren't certain, but I think the general idea of conversion is plain to see.
  6. Duh. I mean coooooooome on. This is just stupid. Of course this is what we're up against. Thanks for nothing. This post doesn't give us anything. No call to action, no solution, no nothing. If you're going to post you might as well actually post something worthwhile. At this point I'll probably just vote for Kevin H. I'm getting tired of his stupid a$$ poems.
  7. At least we can say for certain something is different about the scum in this game. However, whether it be the players or the roles we can't be certain.
  8. Looks like we're heading towards a no lynch, that's not so bad consider we have no idea whats happening in this game. As to the imbalance issue, couldn't it just be that there is a mafia turner, but even if he converts only he can convert. That doesn't make sense, let me try again. Only the original scum turner can convert, and if we get him there are no more mafia power roles. Therefore, they need to get a majority and hold it before we catch on.
  9. It's dumb to think there is only one mafia. I agree there is probably someone you can turn us, but I don't think they are alone. The mafia having only one power role seems unlikely. I got the same vibe reading the setup, sounds like a vampire or a warewolf scenario.
  10. I considered it, but thought it would be too transparent. I was hoping we'd capture more swing votes, namely D3mon.
  11. I love penguins. Count me in.
  12. Way to go town! I agree with KevinH, hard to say whether losing our other member was a help or a hinderance. A fun final showdown for me none the less. KevinH seemed pretty much doomed after that. KevinH, why didn't you just pile on me on the second to last day? Too obvious?
  13. Well, I'm not sure. Is the day over or what?
  14. RoT's post here was addressing D3mon. In that case, D3mon and I are both townies. If RoT thinks that the mafia can rush vote him to death he must also think that we're both townies or there wouldn't be three mafia left to get the five vote majority. (I think we all rightly assume there are three mafia.) I think he carefully constructed the ploy, and has now slipped up and revealed the truth in this sort of off the cuff accusation!
  15. Thanks for not cutting anyone to the quick and ending this all early. As you pointed out, you probably have the power to do so. I guess I feel like your post sort of echo my cries for help. Thanks for being reasonable, at least that might vindicate me a bit if my head comes off my shoulders. I hope we hear from RoT on these points.
  16. Well, i can't speak for KevinH, but I do know that with the numbers we have know the rest of us don't have much choice on who to vote for with some many active role claims dominating discussion.
  17. I just wanted to make sure people knew where I stood on the matter. It's the only way people can properly access the other characters. I didn't want to seem elusive in why I was/was not voting. As for the rest, I'm glad there is some discussion going, rather than a quick "oh role claims must be legit" response. It has been pointed out a few times that it is strange all these role claims seemed to suppose the next one was coming. They all seemed to refer to other roles as if they were already claimed, they all assumed the next was coming. It seems all like a well coordinated rouse to me. There have been some questions concerning "why now" or "why would they take on so much exposure." I think there is a pretty good answer, are votes are still pretty random in who we're going after. As our numbers have dwindled we get closer and closer to lynching a scum. This is a great opportunity to use the confusion to their advantage and seal the deal today without trouble. We need five for the full majority, and three for the half? Is that right? Does that mean the scum can pile on and take if we don't make a decision?
  18. Reign of Terror did not rebut any of my claims. Instead, more unconfirmed assumptions about who is what role and asking for more roleclaims. This is the same thing we are seeing from Electric Mango, making assumptions about who is in what role (i.e. that he has identified a confirmed townie). I'm not buying it.
  19. Well, although this is a farce there's not much I can say except I'd ask you all to review my posts and see that I have not once acted contrary to the will of the town before believing this very simple and coincidental roleclaim. So, I think it's interesting that ElectricMango posts his strategy, then without any discussion about whether to follow it Reign of Terror claims he is the cop. electricMango's plan is suspicious in that it makes assertions about knowing there are other confirmed townies etc. his plan was then immediately implemented by another player who hasn't has much to say otherwise. ElectricMango too has has a pretty hands off role until now with silly reasons for his votes, on purpose. I think the timing of this seems planned and is likely a rouse. The "cop" reveals himself, in my opinion, very quickly and without hearing the opinions of the town as to whether or not that is true. Instead, I think Reign of Terror is a false cop, a scum in cahoots with ElectricMango to pull off this show. The timeliness of it and it's straight forward and simple three post implementation between two players who have otherwise not hand much contact (on purpose?) leads me to believe this is the case. FOS:ElectricMango VOTE: Reign of Terror
  20. I'd agree it is very likely there is a cop role.
  21. Does this mean D3mon is off the hook? If so, maybe Kaziocore and KevinH are the most suspicious after coming in with late votes yesterday. On the other hand, we had pretty much decided by consensus at that point anyway. Just to be clear, you're not saying you're the cop and you haven't received any valuable information, are you? Unfortunately it looks like most of yesterday's voters picked out KF2001 for his short posts, which was a sentiment I echoed at the time as well. Therefore, I'm not to sure who to pursue at this time. It would be helpful to have vote counts from the last two days to compare. If those don't get compiled before to long, I'll do it myself, but I can't do that at the moment.
  22. Wow, that ended really fast. I didn't know that I am allowed to vote at this time officially, but I'd have gone in for KF2001. I'm not really convinced by the scum tells. Had I voted back before this ended I would have joined the majority, I'm more concerned about our concerns about KF2001's conversation being neither addressed or remedied by the man himself. Day one he spoke a lot less than SirCrocodile about his reasons and SirCrocodiles replacement might be able to shed more light on that role. I'll leave it at that, and let the mod conclude the day....
  23. ccabal86, I think that makes some sense. However, I think that KF2001 is also just new and not familiar enough with the game to provide much more than the scum tells you pointed out. No offense buddy! It seems like a few things in your list tow the same line against SirCrocodile. i.e. not understanding why you shouldn't delete a post etc. That said, I don't know that I would count that as an excuse. In that case, it sounds like one is scum for being over active and one is scum for being underactive and at that point I just have to throw my arms up... Kaziocore can you explain a bit why you think KF2001 is scum, or is it just that he has short posts? I think for now I'll renew my suspicions from yesterday. FOS Imran Ehsan i don't have anything new to add, I'm just not settled on either SirCrocodile or KF2001 yet, though I could certainly be persuaded towards a vote for either one. I'd like to see if SirCrocodile gets a confirmed replacement before voting for him. If the replacement does come into the game with a bit of pressure already on them, it might be very telling about their underlying role.
  24. I didn't really mean to defend them, I guess. Can you give examples of which posts you mean? I can see why you think this is inconsistant, and I agree it does look that way. I wanted to differentiate between the two of them in cahoots versus the two following me. They both seemed to launch their own independent attacks at Sir Crocodile, while the two following me said nothing. On the one hand, I respect that they both maintained their own positions and both contributed to their combined votes, but I also found it more suspicious, because combined they put more effort into their voices than the three of us did combined. While I saw them as both actively supporting a position, the two following me merely followed. I hope I made that distinction clear. Also, I am NOT an experienced player I really hope I never came off as arrogant or something like that, I was only trying to point out they weren't really contributing and merely just following suit which isn't very helpful. I'm sorry I didn't go through the formality of using the FOS. If it will make my intentions more clear I will use them in the future! This is might be true. However, I guess I just deny that this should lead someone to suspect me for the reasons above.
  25. I'd submit that while I laid out and debated my positions on that matter they both pretty much said, "okay". I don't think I deserve the heat for that. I never solicited them to join me at all. I hope you can see that. @KF2001: I don't think in this game the cop's moves will be auto revealed, so it will be up to the cop to decide when/how/why to roleclaim and what information to provide.
