He tried going through the "proper channels". It never worked.

I think people focus too much on him instead of the shit he actually revealed. Do you have any sources that anything has been thwarted? Last I checked the NSA had no evidence.

I've been playing for a few years.

You would have loved the older Battlefield titles then. BF1942, BF2, Bad Company. Sadly, BF4 doesn't even come close to how good the series used to be. BF1942 and BF2 had some of the best modding communities. WW1 mods, WW2 mods, Vietnam Mods, Modern Combat Mods, and even Star Wars Mods. You can even find servers where people still actively play. Its a bit disappointing to see where EA has taken Battlefield today. To me, BF4 just felt like a generic arcade shooter. As steep of a learning curve these games have, I prefer playing Red Orchestra, Arma, and Insurgency. The gameplay offered is way more indepth but they can be unforgiving on newer players. You might like Heroes and Generals: http://game.heroesandgenerals.com/ It's a free-to-play game in open beta currently, and I really get a BF1942 vibe from it.

A couple small tournaments are going to be held in a couple weeks; one for people in Silver & Gold leagues, and one for people in Platinum & Diamond leagues. There's a 120,000 Dogecoin prize pool and they need more players. For more info and to sign-up: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1xxmu3/starcraft_2_tournaments_120000_doge_in_prize_pools/
