Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
That someone I have in my mind as a possible cop has indicated Junkahoolik in this way. You jumped on me for thinking that meant I must have Firkked in mind but, that is not necessarily the case. I can think of various examples of flavor that would allow for the cop to bend the rules of room specific engagement. Especially now that we know that rule could be (and was) revoked.

I'm not sure. Its a series of comments from a while ago. I realize it would mean that the cop role would have bent the rules, but who knows. For all we know there is no cop anyway. Either way, I'm sticking to my first to arguments and think there is a legitimate connection to the third.

Right, the point of not telling was so people wouldn't know. I wouldn't have spilled it out like that had I been thinking of Firkked. I figure, most people would have compared the assignments with the vote count already anyway. VOTE COUNT junkahoolik (3): Martino, Firkked, Aquinas SinKon (2): Falzis, CanucksDynasty KevinH (1): Electric Mango Falzis (1): Junkahoolik Not Voting (5): Narsis, KevinH, Sir Jesus, SinKon, Kaziocore With 12 alive, 7 is needed to lynch.

Right, that's an obvious connection. However, I wasn't thinking about him.

Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
Alright, although I haven't been around to share it lately, my suspicions are still the same. SinKon is still out there and his posts are now directly pointing us to change topics from scum hunting at #768. While this was a good idea on D1 I think without knowledge of the mechanics there is not much we can do but pray. I'll say we stick the the plan for consistency sake. Anyway, I think this is much less important now and not nearly as useful of a discussion. While his posts put a bad taste in my mouth I am more concerned about Junkahoolik who I put an FOS on a while back. At the beginning of day 1 Junkahoolik seemed to me to be on with a no lynch strategy. While I wouldn't vote for a player based on their strategy options unless they were so violently off base it was necessary, your inconsistency with that strategy concerns me. You are now voting for Falzis for your reasons presented at #774. You seem to me to be uncommitted to any sort of strategy now, and that bothers me. If you think/thought a night kill is/was a good strategy it seems like it didn't take much to drop you of those convictions. Your reasoning here is weak. I think Falzis has a stronger point here. There are few ways to hide, one of them being showing concern with the serial killer early to distract suspicion later. Their strongest weapon to hide is to be able to say wasn't me. As pointed out elsewhere, there is never much "Serial Killer hunting" so as long as they can show that it isn't obviously them they should be in the clear. The best way of doing this is to be a anti-SK proponent early. Most importantly: Also, I think earlier we can find some evidence that the cop indicated you were scum, whomever that may be. I think there have been a few possibilities that a certain individual hinted towards you. I'm going to agree with that person/"possible cop candidates" that I have in mind. I'd share who/where those are located but, I don't want to give up who I think that cop is. It got KevinH in trouble. KevinH who I think is just a stumbling townie, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes so, I'll keep those cop convictions with myself and do what I can to follow them. 1. For using inconsistent strategies. 2. Shoddy reasoning for vote against Falzis. 3. The best cop candidate in my mind indicated earlier that you were scum. Vote:Junkahoolik

Hey all. You'll have to excuse my absence, Thanksgiving travel was more hectic than I thought. I work a double today but, I'll get in here and post something this evening or tonight.

So, you are okay with a lynch when there are opposing cop claims but not at this point in the game? It confuses me when your strategy now is follow the cop but you'd throw that up to a fifty fifty chance of lynching a cop in the case of a counterclaim. If you got it right and lynched the scum counterclaim you'd surely have a dead townie cop in the morning anyway.

Follow up to KevinH here...I think that is a possible scenario but I don't see where that is coming from. Why would we be able to assume that? To clarify something Junkahoolik said, that I may be the cop because I dismissed suspicion of SinKon: that was on the qualifier that he posted less random nonsense during Day 2 which isn't that case thus far, clearly. Still I don't find it to be malicious or purposefully detracting from the town goals and I'm hoping to let him slide. I'd like to hear more from Junkahoolik and KevinH still about there reasoning for a no lynch strategy. I think its pretty obvious Night 2 will come with a night kill. We need to be proactive otherwise we end up with two dead townies on Day 3 without any townie action. Will be end up with three dead townies if we lynch, the odds say, "yes". However, we're not playing the odds. KevinH if you are truly not convinced of anyone's scumminess at the end of the day vote no lynch but, don't throw it off the table just yet. Do you have anyone in mind that could be mafia at this point? Who do you think we should be looking at more closely? I'll offer the same questions to Junkahoolik but, he seems more assertive about making sure we don't lynch which makes me a little more suspicious of him. FOS: Junkahoolik

I agree with the general sentiment of getting after some scum hunting now. I voted for SinKon all day yesterday but, I'm not committed to maintaining that through day two. I think if he can post some more coherent and substantive posts he'll be a smaller blip on my scumdar. As for other suspects I'm still evaluating that. I'll pour through some of the old content and see whats up.

I was going to take care of this when I got out of class as well. I'm glad we waited until the last day however. It had to be done. I think most of us would agree. However, it is a disadvantage and an unfortunate problem. With that MOVE: Room 8. Glad to be here with you gentlemen.

Yep, I'm back after a busy weekend and all caught up. I figure we can all take part in an examination of the survivors in the killing room after the fact. If you are really concerned about someone, its never terribad to tell us what you think of course but, when the pool of suspects per room gets so shallow things change. In the end though, the scum are taking a risk killing weather or not the victim has tipped them off. They are going down in two turns no matter what with a 50% chance of going down that next day. If they are going to kill I don't think the opinion of the victim prior to is going to be a huge break for them.

As I said I'd do it too but, I wouldn't be willing to until the last day of D1 to give maximum time for a replacement and/or suspicions to change. I did sign on to that idea for sure and use very similar diction but, KevinH could have very well said something to this effect prior to that you are referring too. To be clear, at any point in the 48 hours we may post our room assignments as assigned? We are not relying on any order?

EBWOP: "dedicated" should read "not dedicated" In the last sentence. Point being, I could be convinced otherwise.

I suppose, unless someone else can think of a good reason to be in the cockpit for the town. Generally it seems to me that facing this much unknown it is better that we keep things as structured as we can while still gaining information. I think randomness and unknown is to great of a disadvantage for the town that we shouldn't risk it. Of course, there could be someone with an idea of a benefit that would outweigh that uncertainty. Could we prevent a crash being in the cockpit? What if we outnumber scum in the cockpit? Etc. I don't know. I think overall we should stay away but, I remain dedicated to that point for now.
-
Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
The cockpit has potential benefits but, I think its worth considering weather the scum will have a better benefit to being in the cockpit than the rest of us. Can we take the risk of putting one of the scum in the cockpit not knowing their abilities (if any) once inside?

Thanks for clearing that up. Now that all is said and done, I'm not too upset about it.

EBWOP: By that I mean, I thought we were using those numbers to have an order in which we pick our own room assignments. Although, seeing as the alternative is being shacked up with CannucksDynasty and Martino I'm not going to put up a real stink. If I get killed my bet would be on Martino after all we heard in the back and forth from CannucksDynasty, I am more sure of his towniness. However, I'd feel pretty safe in this room. So, I just bring this up in case anyone forgot or I am wrong not really to argue for it.

I see. We are just going with the normal list assignment after all?

Also, quoting you post just taught me how to make lists. Thanks.

Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
I agree. I think it is very important that we don't leave a person out a proper room assignment or to take that risk. I wonder then, who would you be voting for if we were not faced with Crazyemolad's inactivity assuming you had no additional reasons to suspect Crazyemolad? I ask because although I believe at the end of the day I would agree Crazyemolad needs to be lynch, I leave my vote on SinKon so that it may be reflected I believe him to be the biggest active anti town voice we have.
-
Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
@: Kaziocore, KevinH, SinKon, Sir Jesus, Why are you currently voting for Crazyemolad? Is there more to it than that he is inactive? If so, do you feel that his inactivity is scummier than any other actions you've seen thus far? I realize the implications for the town if he is alive on lynch day but, we can worry about that later. If I missed your greater reasoning feel free to post a quote of yourself.

@MOD: I don't intend for that vote to force any technical obligations on the game, just hoping to have a little justification at the end of the day. We'll see how far it gets me...

Plane Crash II - Game Thread - GAME OVER!
I'm leaving my vote on SinKon. I agree we'll need to get rid of Crazyemolad at the end of the day. If it comes to that, I'll switch my vote to him at that time. RESERVED VOTE: Crazyemolad Now you can't say I bandwagoned! At this time I would still rather lynch SinKon but inactivity will throw a huge wrench in our plans.
