What is “half” about my claim? I literally told you who I am, what I am, what I did on each night, and why I did it (thought process). I don’t understand what you’re getting at, Robert. Did you actually read my role?

Right. I suppose it wouldn’t be much different though than a mod allowing a mafia role like roleblocker to both block and kill on the same night.

Assuming LWW did jail someone last night it was most likely Torres, Robert, or Kevin — all of which have claimed passive (or none) actions. They either wouldn’t know they had been jailed or they’d be openly admitting to having another action that they didn’t disclose previously so unfortunately we probably wont know for sure who LWW would have targeted. I've seen it in one of the games in the past (I don't remember if that was TW's or KevinH's game) - one of the scum got JOAT with 1 action of Vig like shot. I don’t remember the specific game but I do recall something like this happening in a game. I suppose it’s also possible that someone had a lover modifier or something but I’m not sure how that would fit the lore.

[VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
Brewers' train of thought is mostly correct I think, except that I am not a Serial Killer. I think there is still something else going on that we don't yet know. Unsurprisingly, I am the top suspect today since both Ferastical and Captainjf are gone. It's time to put all the cards on the table so that we can get this right. I am Chief Petty Officer McRobb, CO of the RSO Fermion (Town Motion Detector). According to the Halo wiki, Remote Scanning Outpost (RSO) Fermion was a scanning outpost designed to detect incoming threats to the Reach Military Complex. Fermion was the outpost that detected 300 Covenant vessels entering the Epsilon Eridani system inbound to Reach and alerted FLEETCOM so the USNC could muster a defense for the Planet. I assumed a Halo themed game would be a role madness game so my first thought was that my role was probably on the weaker end of roles in the game. After we started seeing several VT's show up my role started to make more sense. It's definitely on the weaker end of town investigative roles but with a limited number of power roles present it made sense balance-wise not to have a stronger role like tracker/watcher/etc. Night 1: I used my action on Canik but there was no motion detected. I chose Canik because he seemed to take issue with my obvious welcome vote on captainjf while casting a tad bit of shade my way: While my no motion detected result on Canik on night 1 did not mean that he wasn't scum (since any other scum could have acted instead) this was another minor contributing factor in why I defended Canik as likely being town after his implosion. Night 2: I used my action on Kevin and received no result which we now know was due to LWW jailing me. I chose Kevin for a couple reasons. After Brewers posted his revelation about MK and ABT being of different alignments with a good argument that MK was probably the scum out of the two of them, Kevin chose to vote for ABT to "balance things out" which seemed kind of odd at the time: He later said that MK's posts were starting to seem desperate and that he would switch to Lord MK if nothing better came up. This sort of seemed like he would try to avoid voting for MK if he could: Kevin did eventually vote for MK but his reason was interesting to me. It didn't mention anything else specific about how odd MK was behaving. Instead it seemed to be a continuation of the joke that Tony would hammer a player early if he could and almost inviting him to do so: Then a little later there was this post: This sort of seemed to contradict some of the earlier actions of the day and that he might have only really voted for MK because the writing was on the wall. Night 3: I used my action on Wolfpacks and was told that that there was motion detected. It was clear that there were only two people (Tony or Canik) who could get lynched on day 3 due to their wagons. Wolfpacks was the only other person to register a vote and he did not vote for either wagon. He voted for Brewers who was more or less "confirmed" town. This seemed like he might know that both wagons were town and he was trying to avoid being on whichever wagon won while still registering a vote. I assumed initially that the motion detected could be due to Wolfpacks performing an action but after LWW role claimed I realized that my "motion detected" result was actually due to LWW jailing Wolfpacks. My "motion detected" result on night 3 with wolfpacks, in addition to my "no result" on night 2, is why I posted yesterday that I could partially validate LWW's role claim and that I had a reason to believe he was what he said he was. Night 4: I used my action on captainjf and received motion detected as a result. I targeted captain because he was my top suspect remaining (hence my vote for him even though Velocity didn't count it..) and he managed to survive the fire fight that was the result of the tied vote. Clearly my result on captain was due to someone killing him at night (probably the Vig). My vote record in this game has been miserable and I apologize about that but I do want to point a few things out that do help it look objectively less terrible: -In post #306, which was made 5-6 days before the day 2 deadline, I posted my intent to vote for MK closer to deadline and asked that the town NOT hammer him so early. -In post #320, I tried to convince Wolfpacks that Brewers was almost certainly telling the truth about MK when Wolfpacks posted doubt about the legitimacy of the claim and used it as justification to vote for Brewers. -The only reason I didn't vote for Rafay on day 2 was because we were already gifted a free mafia kill. I didn't have any reason at that time to legitimately suspect Rafay other than his normal suspicious nature but I was considering using my action on either him or Kevin that night. -I tried to post my vote on captainjf before the deadline but it didn't post until after because I sat at my computer watching it say "saving post" for nearly a minute.. I was not happy when my vote on captainjf wasn't counted and made sure to let Velocity know after the fact. He told me that he debated counting it but wanted to see his firefight mechanic in action so he opted not to count it. I am an unknown to many of you but I know my role and having the benefit of my own information here is what's left and what I know. Listed in order of most likely town to least likely town: Town: TW - Claimed Town Motion Detector - Verified LWW's role claim as Jailer. No other verification. ABT - No role claimed - Confirmed by Brewers to be a different alignment than MK who was scum. Investigated as Town to Cop. Assuming Velocity didn't give Wolfpacks the incorrect result it probably means ABT is the town Vig. Almost Certainly Town: Brewers - Claimed Parity Cop? - Outed MK as scum early. Voted Rafay. The only reason he's lower than ABT on the list is because ABT was basically confirmed as town by both Brewers result and Wolfpacks result but he's basically confirmed as well in my opinion. Possibly Town: KevinH - Claimed VT - Investigated as Town to the Cop (could be a godfather though) Unsure: Robert2424 - Claimed Enabler for Jailkeeper - No alignment confirmation Torres951 - Claimed VT - No confirmation My assumption at this point is that Robert or Kevin is the final mafia which would leave Torres as a possible SK.

I'm still going back and forth between Ferastical and Captain honestly. Ferastical's role claim still feels off to me but the fact that Captain sort misrepresented a couple things that I said yesterday seem like they were said to make me look scummy. It could have been an honest miscommunication but I really don't know. With what we have to work with now I think he's the right call for today. Vote: Captain

[VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
@Wolfpacks - You said that you still didn't trust Ferastical's role claim. Is that the only cause of your vote or was there something else that I missed?
-
[VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
Is this your only actual reason? I like considering as much information as possible before voting, hence why I typically wait until shortly before deadline to vote. I'm still looking at Captain or Ferastical right now due to what I mentioned earlier. I think Robert is in play as potentially being scum due to the possibility of Enabler and Role Enabled being of opposite alignments but I'm not convinced at this point that is the case. The only two ways leaving Robert alive really hurts us today at all is if he is the last scum or if LWW is actually scum and can roleblock Wolfpacks or something. Otherwise we can revisit that on a later day if necessary. @LWW - I think you are the only other person who hasn't voted yet. What is your thought process at this point?

Doing this on mobile so I hope I didn’t miss anything: Unofficial Vote Count Torres951 (1): Robert2424 Ferastical (2): Wolfpacks, captainjf Robert2424 (0): captainjf (3): Torres951, ABT, brewers Wolfpacks (0): lilweirdward (0): brewersalliance (0): ABT (0): KevinH (0): The Warrior (2): Ferastical, KevinH No Lynch (0): Not Voting (2): lilweirdward, The Warrior We have about 46 hours until deadline I believe. For me it’s down to either Ferastical or Captain right now. I realize I am in a similar situation to both of them in terms of lack of confirmation as well as voting pattern. I will reiterate though that it was my intention to vote for MK after he started going crazy. (Yes I know that anyone can say that after the fact.) I just don’t usually vote until closer to deadline though so that is why I hadn’t actually voted for him. If the game went to deadline without him getting mod-killed I would have voted. As for Rafay, I was not opposed to him getting lynched. I was just content with the gift we were given when MK got mod-killed. It was essentially a free day for us. My preference was to take more time to evaluate him since I had no solid evidence that he was scum. My concerns with Ferastical are how unnaturally his role claim felt when he latched onto the “your weapon is your vote” part of Torres role claim and how he sort of used something so basic to say “Torres can’t be scum because that’s what my role said too!” He then went on to question my voting pattern (which I don’t necessarily blame him for). But I can say without a doubt that if MK and Rafay were my scum partners and were acting like that, I would make sure that I bussed them (or at least one of them). Staying off of two scum wagons like that when the outcome was basically clear would only hurt me in the long game. Other than no confirmation, my concern with captainjf is that it seemed like he intentionally misrepresented what I said twice in a way that sort of made it seem like I was might be privy to information that a townie certainly wouldn’t have. Maybe it was an honest mistake but it happened twice in the same response at a time when others were sort of looking my way first, almost as a subtle way to nudge them further in my direction. @Ferastical - I think you were in the middle of the Rafay wagon (3rd vote maybe?). Can you refresh me on what pushed you to vote for Rafay?

[VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
I said I can partially vouch for LWW's claim based off of what I know. I cannot unequivocally confirm that he is a jailkeeper or even what his alignment is. All I was saying is that I have reason to believe he is what he says he is right now. I did not say that the mafia was down to two players. I said that the mafia is down two players -- as in they have already lost two players.

[OOC]Once again I apologize for my lack of activity over the last few days. In addition to all the other stuff I've had going on I've also been dealing with some health issues that I'm trying to figure out.[/OOC] I just spent the last couple hours catching up on what I missed in between meetings. I can partially confirm LWW's claim here as well. I'm not ready to fully role claim yet but this fits with the limited information I know. Can confirm, I claim VT just like Torres, I had the same sentence in my role claim: "Your weapon is your vote." My sus level on Torres just dropped like 99% That is almost always a sentence used in a VT role pm so it doesn't actually confirm anything imo. But that's talking through your experience. Voting out both scum on D1 and D2 (at least attempting to on D1), then choosing not to hammer because lacking any suspicion (both ended up town anyway), then going on to make a perfect word-for-word role claim, and even the fact that he knew what I was talking about must indicate he's read it quite recently, perhaps in his RC? I think we can all agree that Torres would have to be a really bad scum member if he was one. Instead I'm turning my interests towards TW, who throughout D1 and D2 has voted No Lynch, only to on D3 hammer down on a townie, who yes, seemed suspicious, but I believe townie TW would've had insight past that. Perhaps he felt uncomfortable voting for 2 days when the only 2 wagons to join were his own scum buddies? It would be too suspicious to then vote NL for the third day in a row, so he had to place his vote down somewhere, right? Vote -> The Warrior Would love to hear from ye' I voted to no lynch on day 1 ultimately because I don't like voting for someone with no solid information. Day 1 typically has none. MK would have received my vote on day 2 if the game would have gone to deadline. When MK was mod-killed and revealed as scum I was personally content with the fact that we were gifted a scum kill. Rafay was suspicious but he always is in my opinion and his play didn't really seem that far out of line from his normal habits at that point. Since I didn't have anything solid to base my vote on then I opted to no lynch on day 2. At least we already got rid of one scum that day. I intended to try to find out more about Rafay before voting on him. On day 3 I didn't have to do anything if I was scum. Canik was trying to get himself lynched and was apparently succeeding for most of the day based off of the traction his wagon gained. I was one of the more vocal people throughout the day trying to point out that he almost had to be town. If I was scum it would have been really easy to hitch myself to Canik's wagon along with everyone else or place a vote on a random player to at least register a vote. Instead, I ended up casting the 6th and deciding vote for Tony (putting Tony ahead of Canik in line to be lynched) because Tony started acting strangely with his accusation of Brewers who seemed to be generally town aligned after his revelation about ABT and MK earlier in the game. Again, if I was scum I would have known that swinging the vote into Tony's favor right before deadline would have reflected poorly on me immediately. Getting Tony lynched and basically outing myself (or at least putting myself in the spotlight) wouldn't be worth the gamble with the mafia already down two players.

Uhh, you sure that's the defense you wanna go with? Cause I'm pretty sure I remember you doing this: Granted, it's not like you said you actually thought he was scum, but you seemed more than happy to help lynch him anyway. This was pretty early in the day, and then you basically disappeared for the rest of the day with your vote still on Canik. Just a few hours before deadline, your "bandwagon vote" was set to seal Canik's lynch. And so finally, right before deadline, you jumped off the wagon. Now, did you technically not vote for a townie by the end of the day? Yes, but you went pretty much the whole day ready to lynch Canik without contributing at all, and it seems like you only backed out once you realized your vote might essentially be the hammer vote. So I'm not sure if "it's not my fault I didn't vote for them" really holds up. Excellent point. @Torres - I'm not really sure how voting for someone for a large portion of a day that isn't day 1 and "I didn't get any scum vibes from them" are compatible. If you truly didn't get any scum vibes from Canik at all then why vote for him most of the day?

[VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
The flavor text (energy sword) seems to indicate that Lyner was the one killed by the Covenant (mafia). Canik's flavor text (getting shot) could indicate that the shot came from either a Covenant weapon or a town weapon but I think it's safe to assume that it was probably a town aligned player that killed him. With two deaths it seems like a town killing role (i.e. Vig or possible JOAT?) could indeed be the cause of one. I doubt it was the result of a "lover" situation or something similar since that really wouldn't fit the theme and I'd think the flavor text would have read quite a bit differently. Lyner's role (2-shot action immune) seems to indicate that he has already been the target of at least two night actions previously since the mafia managed to kill him last night. This likely means that if anyone has visited him previously and received a "no result" or similar you know why. This could also potentially explain the night of no kill. Since the lynch came down to either Tony or Canik yesterday and Tony ended up being lynched, I'm wondering if the town Vig believed Canik should have been the one lynched instead during the day and decided to see to it that he was killed anyway at night.

I still think it’s unlikely that canik is scum after the crazy rant he went on and asking to be lynched. With two scum gone already that would be dangerously close to game throwing and I don’t think that’s what’s going on here. Tony on the other hand accused and voted for Brewers just because Brewers asked him to take the game seriously and not to lul vote. That doesn’t seem like an unreasonable request. He then switched his vote to canik when it was clear that it’s either him or canik today. There’s a little over an hour until deadline. I was hoping tony would be able to respond before I cast my vote but time is running out. Of the two of them (canik or Tony), I think there is a greater chance that Tony is scum. Vote: Tony *EDIT: I see that Torres unvoted while I was typing. That means that Tony currently has 6 votes and Canik has 5.- [TW-13] Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince Signup

As far as the voting for Canik: Policy voting is one thing (and as a mod I don't necessarily dislike seeing it happen to discourage certain behaviors that should be discouraged) but I'm having a really hard time believing Canik is scum here. As I mentioned earlier, he would basically be further game throwing this game and that would just be ridiculous after what we witnessed with MK yesterday. Having said that, if Canik is actually town, I certainly hope he doesn't have a useful role because otherwise he is just further hurting the town by confusing everyone and trying to get himself lynched.- [VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
@Tony - I know that you changed your vote from Brewers to Canik (to "save yourself") but can you please explain what the vote for Brewers was for in the first place? I genuinely don't understand what issue you had with him asking you to be serious and contribute.- [LW-01] - Dark Souls 3 - SIGN UP THREAD
Sure.- [VL-01] Halo: The Battle Of Reach Mafia: Mafia-SK TIE
Just now catching up on this game after missing the last couple days. A couple thoughts: What exactly are you arguing with Brewers over here? All he said was lul voting/posting at this point isn't helpful to the town. That doesn't seem to be debatable. They can hide by making safe posts and contributing safe things. I hate to say it (because TW has been nice and argued I'm likely town) but TW's posts have been gnawing on me all day. They've just been so safe and neutral. Leading up to MK's lynch, he doesn't attempt to really defend MK but does encourage MK to defend himself, and doesn't really go after MK either, just kind of safely goes with the flow. His interaction with Rafay too, knowing Rafay was scum now.. maybe it's my imagination but I get a feeling like I'm watching scum team talk. Tony is suspicious as well though. He has 40 posts and yet it's hard to remember anything he's really said. Nothing particularly useful or bold anyway, that I can recall. He did say "MK is making a distraction play" but that was after MK lynch was looking sure. Unvote Any of those 4 who have not voted scum are reasonable choices. That is - TW, Tony, Robert, Captain. Going to hold my vote for the moment, will make it soon tho! I did not defend MK or Rafay. I had no solid evidence what their alignments were. All I wanted to see was an actual effort for either of them to defend themselves if they were actually town. Even if they were scum (which they were) I'd rather see them try, out of principle, rather than imploding and basically game throwing like MK did. Obviously now we know that neither were town, I'm glad they both ultimately failed to do so. What are your referring to here, Robert? Get help. That's not a joke.
