Im about to hop into a meeting so I didn’t check the rules yet to see if it’s legal, but since the electoral college can only be passed to a random town player, is there any reason for the new electoral college not to role claim immediately? The new EC might be targeted at night like Rafay was but we can then at least “verify” that person as town for today and rule them out as a suspect. Having the EC role claim every day moving forward should help us verify someone. If our remaining scum chooses to counterclaim the EC as well we will have a 50% chance of lynching correctly and winning the game on a given day.

I’m getting ready to go into a meeting and deadline is only 30 minutes away. Hopefully the people are right about their suspicions about LWW attempting to rig the election. Lilweirdward has lost their election.

Deadline is in an hour and 15 minutes. It looks like LWW will be getting lynched. Does anyone have any last thoughts?

LWW is currently in line to be lynched tomorrow morning. Torres is still MIA and hasn’t contributed anything today. @MK - Why haven’t you unvoted for Rafay?

If no one counters Rafay then he is confirmed town and should not be voted for. Please chime in if you haven’t yet. @Torres - Any thoughts to share? Deadline is 9am CST tomorrow. We need to figure out what we want to do.

Just so we’re clear: Is anyone countering Rafay’s claim that he is the Electoral College? Also, @Brewers - Can the Electoral College only be given to a town player?

I'm just explaining my train of thought, not defending Rafay. Not sure how that warrants this kind of overblown response. Did I hit the mark? It's interesting that you bring up "bussing", since you did put the 4th vote on Robert but didn't vote Donta. Fun fact: Everyone who voted for Robert also voted for Dontavian, except LWW. Vote: LWW This is an interesting point. Could have been a bussing attempt initially since Robert was unlikely to be helpful and then hoping an active Dontavian wouldn’t be lynched since he was more likely to be helpful.

There's a ton of advantage to putting a vote on your scum partner when it seems obvious that they're going to be lynched anyway, because it makes you seem townie for exactly the reason you just described (why would scum kill their own partner when they could've tried to save them?). It's far more dangerous for scum to try to jump on opposing wagons, since those are usually the first to get analyzed once a lynched player flips scum, and for all of Rafay's weird style, he's obviously experienced enough to know that. I could flip the same question around a bit: why would he help hammer someone who replaced a completely inactive player and was actually trying, if he didn't already know they were scum? There was zero indication Robert/Dontavian was scum from what I could tell, and while I doubt the people who started the wagon were scum (literally no reason to start a wagon to bus your newly replaced partner), I am very suspicious of the players who otherwise should've had no reason to hammer a player who was actually trying and had just joined the game. I don't really follow how you don't see that as suspicious at all. He did not need to vote, he can just hide within the non-voters. There were 4 non-voters so it's very a safe position. At that point Dontavian only has one vote difference to MK (3 votes & 2 votes), so it's not "obvious" that Dontavian will be lynched. The Rafay vote sealed Dontavian's fate. Well yes, but's that's not really a town tell.But it’s a scum tell? I voted the way the town was voting. Clearly. It’s not often a dead person casts a ballot for a Republican candidate.

I wouldn’t be surprised if scum is in that group but it isn’t me. I was the elector that day and was following the will of the people when I casted the official vote for Dontavian. If you recall, I was the first person to agree to this plan when ABT initially brought up the strategy. How does me voting for Dontavian make me scum when it was the will of the people and I did exactly what I said I’d do?

With Tony flipping town I think looking at either Rafay or MK is our best option for today. Having said that, it doesn’t rule out LWW as being scum either. It just makes it more likely that he actually did miss the deadline on the first day and wasn’t necessarily covering for anyone.

After what play? Making a logical suggestion on how to proceed?

I don't ever advocate for ending a day early but unless someone has a compelling reason to attempt to get someone on an opposite wagon to change their vote, I'm not sure what more will be gained.

It doesn't really matter. None of our votes count. We're all just indicating our voting preference and counting on the elector to follow the will of the people. I have no strong feeling one way or the other between Tony and Rafay honestly so to me this is just a pick 'em. I'm leaning toward Tony though because we already opted to lynch him once and failed due to a "clerical issue". I'm not blaming LWW really because things happen, but in lieu of any other information we can at least verify that LWW wasn't trying to save Tony for some reason. Vote: Tony

If Tony gets lynched today and he ends up being scum we should then consider looking at LWW. If Rafay gets lynched today and he ends up being scum we should then consider looking at MK. And if whomever we lynch today ends up being town we can consider looking at one of the two in the other group. I’m leaning toward Tony first because I think we kind of let it slide too easily yesterday that he managed to survive the first night.

@Wolfpacks - When you say that I've been backing up LWW "a lot", are you referring to me commenting that I found Rafay's "why are we voting for Tony again?" posts odd as well? That hardly seems like backing him a lot. Not sure why that's interesting, I'm just playing the game like I always do, i do have some theorys that I'll impart once I finish work It was interesting because Lyner made the comment about possibly only considering less active people if he became elector. Then, after he became elector, only one person remaining had fewer posts than him, which was you. A few RL days later, Dontavian is replaced. Now, based on Rafay's post, you'd think he immediately switched his vote onto Dontavian, right? Incorrect, he unvoted, maybe thinking that his scum partner was finally going to be active again and not worth bussing. Welcome and Don't bother. Also unvote. BTW Now whos our prime suspect? Then the next day, after 4 other people had re-voted for Don and it was more or less clear that he was going to be lynched, who adds an additional vote on the end? It's Rafay, and he even calls out his vote on Robert as a reminder that he was supposedly always one of the good guys trying to get rid of mafia. It's Rafay so it's always impossible to tell which of his weird plays are just bad town moves or obvious scum moves, but this reeks of trying to bus your scum partner. Robert was basically dead so no harm in getting rid of him, and then this weird vote just to make sure you're on the wagon. Add this to the circumstantial fact that Finster was killed N1, who just happened to have a personal vendetta with Rafay, and I'd be shocked if the goat isn't scum. It is probable that MK is the reason Velocity was targeted at night so that sucks. I don’t think we need to try to out our electoral college. As far as LWW fingering the people who stayed with Dontavian after he replaced Robert, I’m not sold on this being a bussing attempt set up early on (if at all). However, in my opinion I think that it’d be more likely that someone near the end of Dontavian’s wagon joined to bus him when it looked like the crowd was going to stay on him rather than switching. I know it wasn’t me so I’m interested to hear more from people like Kevin and Rafay about why they chose to stick with Dontavian.

Dontavian is going to get my ballot cast for him officially if nothing changes today. I will note though that we didn’t really have anything against Robert other than his inactivity. Granted, that doesn’t preclude him from being scum as he had the same probability as anyone else. It is interesting though that we never considered tony again really after he survived yesterday’s vote.
