That sounds like a fail on your university's part. I would highly encourage you to live on campus for the first year as well. It makes it really easy to meet new people and experience something you probably haven't ever experiences before. Are any of your highschool friends going to the same college? NC State, the university I'll be attending offers plenty of "learning villages" I think they're expecting me to choose one that interest me so I find myself surrounded by people who have the same interest. and Yes a lot of my highschool friends are going to the same college, I'll keep in touch with them but I wanted to expand my circle so I don't particularly want to room with any of them. I'm not entirely sure, it's between Biomedical engineering or Biochemistry . OUT! How dare thee go for them filfthy arts of the bio! I do have this option since my father keeps a spare apartment that's 15mins away. But I would like to stay in a college dorm so I don't have to worry about commuting and its easier to meet new people.

I found a website that's highly recommended: https://www.roomsurf.com/ but its only through facebook and I don't want to make a facebook account. I'm not entirely sure, it's between Biomedical engineering or Biochemistry When I applied for housing, there was only 2 question and they were: what time do you wake up? What time do u go to bed? Not exactly extensive
