IMHO, these things should probably only be applied to those who have children, rather than anyone who is married. Otherwise, this is why people write a will. Family > Lover Which is senseless to me. It isn't anyone elses business. Half of marriages in the US end in divorce anyway.

It's a contract founded in the affection between two people. I cannot understand why people think they need a contract for something that relies on personal trust to begin with. If there was any trust involved, a contract would not be necessary. "OK, honey. I love you, but I want you to sign this contract so that in case you do leave me, I can have half your shit, because this shebang is all about money."

Ron Paul was cool, but that's because he's a libertarian and realizes how ridiculous our foreign policy is.
