This is how it's done America!
Yeah, I've seen quite a few videos of Brit cops taking down knife wielding people without lethal force. If that dude were in America, he probably would have been shot 58 times or so.

Well...We're fucked.
PLANT TREES!More plants than animals can help keep the climate cool. Stop using/throwing away plastic. Have you guys seen what that crap is doing to our oceans? It kills everything. Stop having so many kidsGuide reproduction wisely. There are finite limits to the Earth that we have clearly met already. Clean energyWe can't rely on oil forever. Nuclear is a dumb idea if you ask me. The sun has unlimited energy if anyone can figure that one out. Find a way to stop this.Otherwise, we really are fucked.

Well...We're fucked.
Humans have adapted to climage changes before. Oh, it won't be pretty, but there are steps you can take. Honestly, I'm more concerned about the end of work. I can always eat fewer calories. If I can't afford those calories, well, then I'm fucked. We've never adapted to climate change like this before. Ground water is running out, forcing people to migrate which strains the areas they migrate to. Governments can't keep up and the next thing you know, people start killing each other. Already happened in Syria with the drought. Then people started flocking into urban areas because there was no work, food or water in urban areas. Then all hell broke loose. The same thing is happening in the Arabian peninsula. Safe to say, the middle east and Sahara are already feeling the droughts of climate change, and it's only going to spread. As it does, less land becomes habitable or suitable for agriculture. People will migrate to already densely populated urban areas and push those communities into instability. We may be adaptable, but we've never done this with 7 billion people before, and the problem of dwindling global resources is also new. The current population is clearly unsustainable. I was just looking at this last night: http://www.thetruthdenied.com/news/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Guidesontes1.jpg Conspiracy theorists think these thing are some NWO BS where they are going to kill everyone. But those idiots clearly havent read what is on these things. http://otherworldmystery.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/georgia-guidestones-rules.jpg How the fuck does that sound like a coming military take over? If you ask me, we know that some unknown group of people built these. Nobody knows who it was, but clearly they have a purpose. The description of the stones themselves, engraved just next to them tells us their purpose: "Let these be guide stones to an age of reason". Nothing sinister here at all. I think whoever put these here saw this coming and built these as a guide for when we all kill ourselves through overpopulation. Some say it was the Rosicrucians. Which, based on what I know about them, would make sense. They often tend to have an interest in attracting intellectuals and geniuses. Their mythical founder spent his life studying the religions of the middle east. It's sad to see that people deface these things with stupid, idiotic graffiti and pay no attention to what they say. These things are even built with perfect precision. The four outer stones are oriented to mark the limits of the 18.6 year lunar declination cycle.[5] The center column features a hole drilled at an angle from one side to the other, through which can be seen the North Star, a star whose position changes only very gradually over time. The same pillar has a slot carved through it which is aligned with the Sun's solstices and equinoxes. A 7/8" aperture in the capstoneallows a ray of sun to pass through at noon each day, shining a beam on the center stone indicating the day of the year.[2]

Hilary's running. Who else?
Would also help if we didn't charge ridiculous prices for simple things. IE, getting a simple plaster cast can cost hundreds of dollars. And that's just the charge for the cast. Simple medical supplies are insanely overpriced. My cousin got a cast a while back and the bill was like $2K. Here, check this out: http://www.rd.com/slideshows/wildly-overinflated-hospital-costs/ You want affordable health care? Stop charging patients 50x what something is worth.

TV Shows
It's alright. Basically just a family of rednecks who have more money than they know what to do with. "Si", as he's called is a pretty funny guy. Especially his obsession with black panthers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlcMQUXawAU

TV Shows
Quite possibly the best war film I've ever seen. That or Saving Private Ryan. I haven't been able to get into many TV shows lately. I was watching House of Cards but lost interest. I just got done watching season 2 of Knights of Sidonia after a long search for a half decent anime. Wasn't expecting much from a Netflix anime, but it's actually pretty cool. I like it's more realistic approach and emphasis on space exploration, biology and the twisted, mysterious, eerie psychological theme of the Guana just leaves you with constant questions. Other than that, I've just been watching documentaries and lectures about physics. I've seen the first few episodes of Lost, I think.

Experimenting
Seems like 1px is the general consensus. Supposed to look like separate images forming one image, like what you commonly see in Japanese art. I think I'll try something more offset like this next time: http://i00.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v0/1704868244/LARGE-PURPLE-TONE-LAKE-font-b-SPLIT-b-font-font-b-CANVAS-b-font-PICTURE-MULTI.jpg

Hilary's running. Who else?
I'm simply not even voting. If I do, it will be for "Half-eaten pop-tart" or "Mildly appealing road kill." Something stupid to voice my displeasure and maybe amuse someone in the process. A step in the right direction for Obamacare would be to throw the garbage out and stop forcing people to pay for what they can't afford to use. I'm confused a little because you say it "covers nothing". The problem with Obamacare plans on the exchanges... I have heard... is they cover everything, and the deductables are so high that no one can afford to pay enough in bills for the coverage to kick in. I get health insurance through my wife's employer, so I have no experience with the exchange policies, but even our deductables went too high, and our prescriptions are no longer $5.00 like they use to be. It's not worth it for us to just go to the doctor anymore. Healthcare should never be a mandated issue. Trying to place limits and requirements on healthcare is impossible. Some treatments cost millions over years, and it's just crazy to try to make everyone pay the cost of all healthcare needs. What you will eventually get is everyone paying... and no one receiving. Just another big government program taking money from you. The way I understand it, is that I was given several options through several insurance providers. The better the doctors/providers/plans got, the more expensive it was. I could barely afford the cheapest one and simply went with that. Which form what they told me, sounds like it's not even worth having because it covers almost nothing. Overall, all Obamacare actually did is, rather than provide socialized health care, it simply kept the privatized health care system and forced everyone to pay for it. However that doesn't sound like the original bill I read (prior to any changes). It's a step in the right direction (towards socialized health care), but it sure as fuck is not socialized health care. It's just forcing people to pay for the same shit.

Hilary's running. Who else?
This is actually spot on. Americans are never satisfied with their president, no matter how much they praised and supported him(her) before the elections. Lobbyists for some reason have a very big influence in the US. I interpret this as basically corruption but for some reason a lot of people don't see it as corruption. It is corruption. It's called an oligarchy. Other than Russia, America is the single best *modern example of an oligarchy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oligarchy *EDIT This is actually spot on. Americans are never satisfied with their president, no matter how much they praised and supported him(her) before the elections. Lobbyists for some reason have a very big influence in the US. I interpret this as basically corruption but for some reason a lot of people don't see it as corruption. Wrong... I still admire every President I ever voted for, and I supported every one I voted for as well. We haven't had a "her" yet. Well I still support Obama (who I voted for), but that doesn't mean the rest of America hates him, nor does it mean I don't recognize that half his campaign promises were BS. Obamacare for example turned out to be garbage and not what he promised. Now I just have another bill to pay for health insurance that covers nothing. It needs a lot more work, but it's still a step in right direction.

Hilary's running. Who else?
Have you ever seen 2 people be nice to eachother for more then a year? Eventually something happens and the relation sours Well, not only that but it's politics. They believe in different political ideologies - and when it comes to politics or religion - if your view is different you can't be friends. So,it's just about ideological differences? If so,could you please elaborate on that? Republicans are neoconservatives and Democrats are slightly more liberal. The major issues they disagree on are actually pretty mild. Like abortion, welfare, etc. In reality, there is little difference between them, they both favor the same massive government and military industrial complex and the whole republican/democrat competition is just a historical past time. No other party has ever made it into the presidency. It's always been Republican/Democrat for the entire existence of the US. Thus, they have far more historical influence than any other parties, so most Americans are probably completely oblivious to any other political party. Another thing to add, is that these two parties have far more money to spend on political campaigns, so they completely drown out any message from any third party. That's just how it's been since day one of the USA. Kinda like how Putin runs against cardboard cut outs of himself during Russian elections. It doesn't really matter who the president of the US is because the nation is actually run by bankers and political lobbyists. This is why when someone gets elected, they quickly become hated and accused of abandoning the promises they made in their campaigns. An oligarchy, basically.

Hilary's running. Who else?
To put it simply. They are two parties that have always worked together to dominate the government. They may sincerely disagree on certain issues, but they are both the same exact party if you ask me. These elections are just for show.

Sleep Paralysis Nightmare
Doctors can't explain it. Dreams themselves are still a widely unexplained phenomena, so experiences like this are even more mysterious. As I understand it, the body has to release a specific neurotransmitter to paralyze the conscious connections between mind & body. When this neurotransmitter doesn't do its job or does it too well, for various reasons, you get sleep paralysis, sleepwalking, etc. On the subject of dreams themselves, they serve as safe simulations of everyday fears or situations. A lot of nightmares have to do with humiliation/failure (nudity in a public space or a test you haven't studied for). Others help you solve problems by doing a deep simulation of the real world without distractions. This is why many artists, inventors, scientists, etc. come up with ideas in dreams. It also explains why sleep is essential to the learning process. You need those dreams to rerun what you learned during the day, otherwise those connections might get lost. The rest of sleep is merely a debugging process to ensure the brain functions properly and has been cleared of excess neurotransmitters. Without it, you hallucinate, get cranky, and eventually just get so overwhelmed with neuronal errors that you can't even perform basic bodily functions properly. I would personally sum it up as dreams are you experiencing your subconscious mind. Hence why dreams can be so ridiculous, yet so realistic.

Being raised Christian and knowing nothing about sleep paralysis, those were mt first thoughts exactly. And that was even after I stopped being Christian. Though even being Taoist, I'm no atheist.
