Samus fake claiming nurse after he fired his shot is I guess what raised the red flag. The only possible reason Samus decided to use his shot was because Reloader was revealed. But still killing MK on N2 was a huge gamble and could have backfired easily. Only thing I find weird is that you were already on the good books of AbT, why would you make such a bold play if you're scum? Anyways I dont envy the choice that AbT has to take tonight. But you are already weighing in the pros and cons so I guess you will take the right decision. Just dont reveal your final decision here, make the wolves guess lol. Ok a crazy thought - what if Samus is second SK? I know it sounds bit of a stretch as that would mean around 8 anti town players but as Rhizo said the set up is not favorable for scum as well with different factions killing each other. @Jazzy, can you please investigate Samus tonight, just for my peace of mind? With Rafay dead, theres not much to do for you with your role anyways. Jester But this role doesn't exist in the Greater Mafia wiki so I guess not present in this game.

I did see TW's revelation about Rhizo but was waiting for Rhizo to respond. Otherwise all I could have posted would have been similar to "Great job TW. Now Rhizo whats your defense?". But it looks like Rhizo has given up. So looks like he is done too like Rafay. Now what I am seeing is that those who have not RCed are the ones being labelled suspicious, which is understandable but I would caution town against blindly believing in whoever claims a somewhat believable role. Samus just proved it. Why Samus chose to lie only he knows and he has some explaining to do, but it just goes to show that anyone can fake a safe role and people will tend to believe it. This is the same reason I didnt exactly like AbT and TW's posts where the implied message was that to prove town all you got to do is role claim and all the pressure is off of you. I hope you get it that how this can be exploited to scum's advantage. Coming back to Samus, he seemed to have lied about his role. Now this can be because of one of the following 1. He has a powerful role so wanted to keep scum off his scent and claimed a safe role to survive. 2. He is scum and mislead town by fake claiming. Now wants AbT to make a leap of faith and reload his ability, which like Robert can be used as a strong proof that he is town. Now if we go with 2, I am still surprised as to why he would let others know that he lied previously without also mentioning in the same sentence why he lied. Did he forget that he claimed nurse previously? I mean it is not entirely impossible for someone to forget about continuing the lie and in the process expose themselves. Also if we assume he is scum, he may not necessarily be one shot anything but just using AbT to reimpose the faith that he is town, similar to Robert's case. Also a question to Kevin, do all the assigned roles match exactly as given in the Greater Idea Mafia wiki? I mean a role which is mentioned as town will be town and their alignments wont be switched? Like a nurse will have to be town and cant be mafia/werewolf/alien etc since theres no mention of a anti town nurse role. I will post more about the current players in a while as I have to go now. In the meantime I would like town to ponder over what I said above.

Yes if Rafay flips town surely Jazzy is scum. But how Ali is outed as scum too? Am I missing anything here?

Haha, reading AbT's post in Yoda's voice was funny as hell. I was worried too that we got a watchlisted townie instead of SK but I guess Rafay didn't chose to go that route as he knows he's gonna get lynched either way, similar to a case when somebody claims Miller. The risk is too high to not lynch. But whatever role Rafay claims, we will all believe Jazzy as he has much more to lose than gain by going after a lurker. So the equation is simple, tiny possibility that Rafay flips town, Jazzy has sealed his fate. But very unlikely to happen. I sincerely hope though we will see more of Rafay now then we saw him the entire game.

We can also have a commuter who used his ability last night. Hider is definitely an interesting role. My suggestion would be to come forward and RC whenever there is a possibility of a mislynch. Since scum cant directly kill you, you're safe and in the process you clear both yourself and another townie. The wiki says that he dies whenever he targets mafia but no mention of werewolf. So I am not sure whether the same happens if he targets werewolf.

To be clear, I didn't visit Brewers. There was a debate a while back about whether or not there was an SK and Brewers (I think) semi-role claimed to prove there was one. I was simply backing him up by saying my role implies there's an SK as well. That being said, I visited CoD and Lego who both came up Not Guilty. Also, when people were voting up CoD I had asked if they knew what scum role CoD was because had anyone said SK I would've role claimed then. That would have been a terrible idea. Town votes are speculation anyways so you role claiming then would have got you killed without you finding about Rafay. Glad people ignored your question . Curious to know why would you visit Lego when he RCed reloader. Anyways you have risked yourself to expose Rafay. There's no reason to doubt you Vote: Rafay. Had CoD received enough votes to lynch based on an SK assumption, I wouldn't have minded going down for a Cop of all Trades. But yea, I guess it was good that I got to keep looking. What a wonderful start to the day. Looking at AbT's post I guess he is suggesting town PRs stopped one or more kills? Which means we have possibly both role blocker and doctor and they blocked the kills. If that is true, theres a chance that we might have caught scum in the act, especially if a roleblocker stopped the kill.

[ooc] Sorry I have been extremely busy last few days so couldn't spare any amount of time here [/ooc] I have my doubts on brewers still, but not enough now to warrant a vote at this moment. I had explained my position on him multiple times and theres still a tiny possibility that his implied RC was a way of self preservation and extend his longevity in the game, something I am not sure a townie will do but its possible. About Canik I have no reading on him so he can go either way. So all in all I think we got nothing substantial in the day to form our mind about our next lynch. Hopefully we can get something from the night actions. Vote No lynch. Not that it matters anyways.

Kevin's lynch was the turning point of the game, his story was the perfect one but town voted with their fingers crossed. Probably I will start posting from 8th onwards [/ooc] Here are my thoughts on the remaining players: iSoc - Confirmed town, no doubt about that. Brewers- Like me he was also on the trail of Rafay. Quoted some posts on Rafay where he was siding with Kevin to bring out the connection. Unless that is a huge game ploy, he is town. I swear if he turns out scum, I will be extremely shocked but would congratulate him for game well played. Lego - feels town to me, considering he had now blocked Rafay twice and didnt block Canik once. I mean without Canik, Kevin would have gotten away for sure. SBG - inactive but feels town. He was also one of the first to point out Kevin's reasoning sounds too good to be true and he doesn't believe it. Also cast his doubts on Rafay who turned out scum. Robert - Not sure about him yet. He stayed out of the first two lynches and theres the flavor text connection again which I am not sure whats the connection there. 50/50 on him. VGM - Same as Robert, stayed off the first two lynches. Did vote for Kevin but at that point Kevin was already going to be lynched. Also curious that given the track record of his in recent games, he is still alive . Now that proves nothing, but still something to note. Also I remember him saying how he hates Kitkat's play style and Kitkat ended up dead. For me its either Robert or VGM.

Taking cues from the other mafia game, not ending the day early saved the town from a well setup mislynch. Also don't like the fact people are pushing speculations as fact, like brewers and Canik are town. They are in no way confirmed town so saying that multiple times without concrete reasoning or evidence might misguide other townies. They can be possible town, not confirmed, that distinction is necessary. I have already made my points against brewers and as far as Canik is concerned I dont have enough on him to classify him either town/scum. Anyways hope when I come back there might be some lead worth looking into.

If you look at the role ability posted by Kevin, it says gladiator can target two players and if they survive the night, only those two are available for lynch. So if I read that correctly neither brewers or Canik is gladiator.

Yes why to rush it when the day just started. So according to what Kevin said, gladiator is town and he/she targeted the 2ND highest vote grosser brewers and Canik who was on Imran's wagon. I can understand brewers being considered pro town though I have my doubts still. Curious to know why Lego thinks Canik is town too. I didn't get any indication on part of Canik to pass him off as town.

He has the most wins in mafia here I believe, so I wouldn't expect anything less. He chose a perfect lynch candidate in iSoc, but it's a lesson that when everything falls into place, it may be too good to be true. All credit to Canik for trusting his instincts. He redeemed himself big time from his debacle of a lynch on TW.

That's encouraging to know. If we got scum, then iSoc is vig. He may not make it to next day so I believe he should use his shot and hopefully get a scum.

Yeah I know but I was thinking why scum gladiator will target you and not someone else. But the gladiator can be town as well and thought you are likely to be scum/SK and thought to make you one of the only lynch candidate and find out for certain. The only possible scenario I can think of is if its a scum gladiator, he/she wants to save scum on Imran's wagon. We already know MK was scum on the wagon. Maybe theres more and by only targeting you and Canik, they're saving their skins.

I hope we are right this time at least. No scum lynch on D3 will be super hard to recover from.

So if gladiator is scum why choose brewers who is essentially a VT with SK immunity and a non threat to them? Also we should see there are 3 possible (2 confirmed) anti town factions. We cant clear anyone yet just because we think it was the handiwork of scum.

Gladiator targeting brewers and Canik seems interesting. Not sure what to make of that. So many unusual roles that I had to literally go back to check the roles in Great mafia list mentioned in the OP, each time a new role is revealed

Yeah I was checking on brewers to see whether he gives up his role easily here as well Anyways it was a joke as I was feeling bored. There's not much now to discuss and we are playing a guessing game between Kevin and iSoc. And if we are wrong I guess it's game over.
