  1. It's almost definitely MK, but I'm obviously not going to vote yet in case for some reason it isn't him. For the record, today is basically LYLO, since scum can win by getting to three players with their one lynch proof shot remaining. I would think it's probably time for people to start claiming, especially now that all of the inactives are gone.
  2. You posted so now you have to replace Ferastical or captain. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
  3. I don't understand what that means lol
  4. Lol iSoc is going to say that he's VT. Whoever the mafia is, they're obviously not going to claim anything except VT since there's nothing to gain by outing one of the remaining PRs (unless they gamble on one of them being inactive, but then they'd have to make sure whoever that person is doesn't get NKed or lynched before it's down to 3 players which would be nearly impossible).
  5. This game is going to come down to blind luck, isn't it? I think iSoc is probably our best candidate, but at this point it really could be anyone, and with the game so dead + 2 of the players just completely absent, it would be super easy for pretty much anyone to just ride down to three players and end the game. I'm not going to end the day yet on the chance that someone decides to make the game more interesting. I still think the Motion Detector should probably claim and let the doctor protect them, since it'd significantly improve our ability to get useful information before the game ends. However, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the MD is one of the two inactive players and hasn't taken any actions yet anyway, in which case we're almost completely screwed unless the doctor gets super lucky again.
  6. Tbh I actually thought about suggesting it too, but MK always gets convinced that I'm scum whenever I have any sort of out of the box idea like this lol. One thing I would add is that if we know that the doctor is protecting the motion detector, then the chances that movement detected is by scum goes up to 50/50 since they'd obviously never see the doctor's target, so there is some advantage we gain by doing it this way. I think it kind of depends on what the motion detector knows already. If they've just tracked stuff that isn't going to help us a whole lot like people who have already died then I don't think it's worth it since it won't help us today anyway and takes away any help that the doctor might have given us in stopping a kill. On the other hand, if they do already have some useful information that we can use to rule out townies, then it might be a better idea to go ahead and come forward now and let the doctor protect them so they can hopefully keep collecting information. The thing that would really suck is if mafia kills them before they tell us anything they learned.
  7. Assuming we're in the setup with the doctor, then we do have a motion detector too, just as a reminder. At this point, I would think their main value is to confirm people who they don't detect any motion for (not counting night 1), since the mafia at least was forced to kill last night, and almost definitely tried the night before. Movement isn't going to tell us much since it could be mafia, the doctor, or either of their targets, but a complete absence of motion can only come from a VT at this point, right? @mod, I would like to ask one clarifying question: can mafia go a night without submitting a kill, either intentionally or due to inactivity?
  8. If Lyner was a PR I'm going to be livid lol. Expecting the day to end with no death though which would all but end the game.
  9. Just a reminder that Lyner is at 4 votes now, so the next vote for him would end the day. @Lyner if you have anything to say in your defense, I think now would be the time to do it. Otherwise I think the silence confirms that he knows the game is pretty much over already.
  10. One thing that is interesting if you check all vote counts on D2 is that Lyner quick voted Imran right after I did, but as soon as Imran gave even a tiny defense, Lyner said he was giving him the benefit of the doubt and switched to pushing for Velocity, who he stuck with until later in the day when it was obvious that Imran was doomed.
  11. This is how I feel about everyone right now (not including myself), which obviously could change. If the top candidates aren't mafia then hopefully they'll be willing to swap in for the inactives soon to give us some chance of deciphering their alignment. Best chance of being mafia, but not 100% convinced: Lyner Possibly mafia but unsure: iSocialism Chaplain of death Lord MK No clue: Captainjf Ferastical Probably town: Rafay Brewers 2.0 iSocialism
  12. The only other possible setup includes an even night vig and no protective roles, and while it's not impossible that the mafia is inactive and the vig either is also inactive (wow that would be brutal lol) or just chose not to use their shot, I think that's a whole lot less likely than assuming that it was probably the doctor who stopped the kill. Besides, iSoc is around now so it's literally just Ferastical who would be inactive. Realistically, it seems hard to imagine that inactives are plaguing the game that much. Especially with the setup being one where so many players being some sort of power role. What I'm hoping happens is that, whoever the doctor is if they do exist, they try to hint at who they protected (without giving themselves away, of course) in case they get killed, so we can rule out potential one scum candidate. In the meantime, it's 8 townies to one 1x lynch proof mafia, so we really have almost nothing to lose by lynching, assuming we don't hit a PR of course. I'll jump on the bandwagon for now just to add a bit of pressure lol. Vote: Lyner
  13. It actually is kind of interesting that iSoc showed up today after the first of two mafia got eliminated. I don't think he's worth being a top suspect, but you could make the case that he's jumping in for the first time now because he kind of has to with Imran gone.
  14. It was a decent attempt in that it sounds like something silly that brewers would come up with, but in context, we were on the sixth day and he was the first person to claim anything except for the two lovers, much less an investigative role, and he somehow had supposedly investigated everyone except the two remaining players or Kevin and had always received his equivalent of Not Mafia, which would either be absolutely abysmal luck or the more likely option of it being a fake claim. It didn't help that he'd not really done anything at all that he could use to back his claim up with, and there was some circumstantial evidence (my own plain role PM, Lyner's plain claim, the lack of rules) that made it a bit suspicious that MK would have such a cleverly thought out role. It was as good as MK probably could have done in that situation, but idk if I'd say it was believable.
  15. Wow iSoc is actually here. Did not expect that at this point lol
  16. Also, as a reminder about the setup, Imran being a role cop means that only options in Column B are possibilities, and brewers 1.0 having been a role blocker leaves only the following two options for what this setup is: Column 2 Mafia 1x Lynchproof Goon Mafia Role Cop - Imran Row A Town Even Night Vigilante Town Roleblocker - brewers 1.0? Town Tracker Row E Town Doctor Town Roleblocker - brewers 1.0? Town Motion Detector Given that there was no night kill at all, and the roleblocker is dead, I think we can probably assume that Row E is our setup.
  17. Yeah that logic makes no sense whatsoever. Imran started the day off by voting Velocity because he was inactive (why would he draw attention to the two of them like that if he'd just saved Velocity on D1?), and then vocally kept his vote on brewers 2.0 because he thought brewers was acting scummy (at this point Imran was clearly on the path to being lynched since brewers and I were both pushing hard for him, so there is no chance he'd basically take down his only other partner with him). At this point I think it's far more likely that Imran figured he should stick to one of the inactive townies to try to take the heat off whoever his partner is, and I think it's kind of sus that Lyner immediately jumped to trying to lynch brewers again. FOS: Lyner
  18. Tbh I do think it was dumb of brewers to mod kill you, and I told him it was after he did it. He could've given you some hated modifier or something, or heck, even said that anyone voting no lynch when the day ended would be mod killed. Honestly, for most of the game after that I figured you might have been mafia, because it would have been the only way you could have possibly known that no lynching would break the game. It's wild though that that obviously wasn't the case. Either way, while players should be responsible for not deliberately ruining a game, it's also a mod's responsibility to design a game that can't accidentally (or even semi-intentionally) be easily broken. Why brewers built a game with literally no way to kill except via lynches for an inactive community that is hesitant to lynch a lot anyway is beyond me, but I can't believe he was surprised that it backfired lol.
  19. I feel like this game would have frustrated a lot more people if, you know, basically anyone except me, Kevin, and Rafay were trying. No known rules and effectively a mountainous game with not even any night kills is ridiculously dry lol. I think I got a bit of grief for my Vengecop game being slow, but this was another level. Oh well, at least I got a dub.
  20. LWW and Rafay confirmed MVPs for town? Good work Rafay. This is probably one of your best games, at least that I've seen.
  21. I mean a significant chunk of the game is inactive anyway, and mafia sure isn't gonna engage now that Imran is destined to die today one way or another. Normally I'd say that ending the day so early is harmful for town, but I don't know what else we can get out of the day at this point.
  22. Tbh I still think that Rafay deserves credit for continuing to vote for Kevin before it was clear that he would actually be lynched. Lyner pointed out the same thing, that the scum team was probably Kevin and MK or Rafay and me, and clearly it's not the latter option. I'm sorry everyone, but Rafay is gonna win this game one way or the other lol. Cum on: MK
  23. Lol idk, this seems like pretty classic Rafay. Boom!!! Another GOAT play or should I say facial? Lol idk, this seems like pretty classic Rafay. Boom!!! Another GOAT play or should I say facial? Why? Deadline is tomorrow at 5pm CST, so just a bit over 12 hours. Especially with everyone being so inactive, I'm not sure what you're waiting for except to see if there's any chance someone else votes first so you can drop the hammer.
  24. Yeah this is really the only thing giving me so much pause. I legit cannot tell if this is "desperate scum Rafay" or "way too confident townie Rafay". It could honestly be either. I already RC'd. I'm a vanilla townie. I didn't get any flavor or anything.
  25. Interesting. Oh man there is very little to go on and I am torn. @MK at least now you know one way or another that I am definitely town.
