  1. No one has posted as much as they usually do, but I don't think you've really scum hunted or anything. Granted, that's not hard evidence that you're scum lol, but there's not much to go on in this game at all since it's been so slow. Rafay, anything to add other than being confused like the rest of us? Lol
  2. I'm also a little bit torn. If I ignore the players completely and just focus on how yesterday went, Rafay would have to be the other town because he jumped on the Kevin bus even before I did, whereas MK not only didn't hammer Kevin but voted for me instead. That being said, if MK were mafia I have a hard time believing he wouldn't hammer his scum partner, although maybe he just assumed that captain wouldn't show up and that he could split the vote and explain himself out of it if he needed to. I also wouldn't put it past Rafay to vote for his scum partner early in the day, assuming that he was probably going to be lynched anyway, since it ended up being a pretty safe bet. At this point I'm probably leaning towards MK being the last mafia. He's mostly skated by without contributing much, which isn't like him, and even this last post feels very much like an attempt to feel out me and Rafay and see who we're leaning towards voting for so he can follow along, instead of putting himself out there and saying he thinks one of us is probably scum if the other townie doesn't agree. Rafay has at least contributed and been one of the more active players, and I think he should be given credit for being the first to pull the trigger on voting for Kevin, regardless of whether or not it was a cynical bussing or legit town play.
  3. One more vote hammers Imran, just FYI. We do still have a whole RL week left in the day so we probably shouldn't end the day just yet.
  4. That's 4, and everyone voted so no mod kill. Now the game gets interesting lol
  5. Two things: 1) you're assuming that all two remaining inactives are definitely town, which is a good worst case scenario to prepare for, but is definitely not guaranteed. If scum has even one of them then the math obviously changes completely - the active mafia would need to play the whole game by themselves basically, and rely on town either mislynching or no lynching on their own vs being able to really control it. 2) Kevin already replaced one inactive, and I assume he'll keep doing that with anyone else who dies and is active. There is definitely a chance that at least one of iSoc or Ferastical gets replaced with someone who actually tries in the next few days if they don't get killed off first, which would probably benefit us. Not that I'm banking on that, but I don't think we need to treat today like LYLO or anything.
  6. Yeah if Kevin isn't scum then that's probably the next most likely outcome, but at this point if Kevin isn't scum then we deserve to lose lol
  7. Well great, we're definitely losing now since there is zero chance that captain logs in and does anything.
  8. He absolutely would not have counted it. Kevin is one of the most consistent mods in the entire community, and he never does bastard stuff like that. I should've voted well ahead of time to avoid letting what ended up happening happen though. I just didn't think anyone would swap votes to get no one lynched so close to the end of the day and didn't realize it happened until it was too late.
  9. Why not? If both Velocity and Imran are scums then Imran was forced to make that vote. Meanwhile, a scum Imran securing a no-lynch isn't really an advantage imo. Town PRs gets 1 extra night action. Imran could've easily just let his inactive partner get bussed since, if Velocity is mafia, it would've happened eventually anyway, and he probably would've known that it'd look scummy to take his vote off of his partner. On the other hand, we essentially need three successful lynches (thanks Kevin for correcting me!) out of 11 players starting the game, so it's in the mafia teams best interests to keep the inactives around long enough to use up some of our mislynches while they pick off more townies at night until all the PRs are gone. Giving scum a free night kill is moronic at best and scummy at worst. I'm not saying Velocity/brewers 2.0 isn't also scum, but I think it's a lot more likely that Imran is, and if he isn't then I think it rules out the one thing that made Velocity possibly scum at all in the first place.
  10. Jk, I finally went back and checked all the vote counts, and brewers has put his mod vote on everyone except Rafay, Kevin, CoD, and me. I don't know why I haven't been voted on other than being nothing but a VT, but we can't all have been scum since 4 out of 8 would be BS lol. I'm pretty sure though that Lyner, Velocity, and captain were the first 3 people that brewers voted for (MK might've been in there too, I'm on mobile and don't feel like manually scrolling back through everything again to double check lol), and I have a hard time believing that Velocity was the only townie in that group, so for now I'm going to gamble on there being some sort of townie meaning to those votes. Cum on: Kevin
  11. So you were specifically told that captain was town? I feel like that's not normally the case, but it is a brewers game so who knows. Either way tbh captain has recently become one of my top suspects because he literally is refusing to try, despite multiple warnings from the mod. I get that not everyone is taking the game seriously but I don't know why someone would actively try to lose, and it seems like it would make more sense for him to be playing like this if he's mafia and just trying to skate by to a win that he doesn't have to do anything to get. Also you tend to be really good at flying under the radar until the end of the game and then throwing out a believable fake claim to pull off a win, so tbh I'm kind of leaning towards you and captain being the scum team right now. Idk if it matters though since Kevin is probably too hard headed to change his vote at this point, and no one else is active except us.
  12. Well noone hasn't done anything unusually scummy lol Fine let's solve the game That's fair I guess lol. Kevin has been scummy but tbh I've read him as scummy a lot in games recently, which is why I've been second guessing myself today.
  13. I’m scum for suspecting you? Real cleverTbf your whole "aww man I'm sad Velocity is actually town" thing was kinda sus, but overall I doubt that Velocity was actually scum, and I think we gain more by lynching Imran first anyway.
  14. Uhh why MK? He's been AFK for a little while and hasn't really done anything unusually scummy this game that I can remember. I think this is wrong, right? Lol
  15. The only thing about Lyner is that he was the second person to vote Imran when this day started. Not that he wouldn't or hasn't bussed partners before, and he did "give Imran the benefit of the doubt" and unvote like a few posts later lol, but it would still be pretty risky to help push a lynch on your partner this early in the game. Granted, I'm pretty sure both mafia are lynch proof, so they'd still get one more night together... The rest of it I mostly agree with. I'm not sure about the idea that Rafay wouldn't bus his partner though. IIRC he did it when you and MK were his scum partners and you bussed MK day one, and then hilariously took credit for it lol. I'm pretty sure he's bussed people in other games too, and he's at least good enough to jump on a sinking ship if he thinks he can praise himself for it after the game. Also, I don't think I'd be so sure that Imran wouldn't make the call to kill you himself if one of the other inactives is his partner, but I don't think they'd be my top suspects at this point. At this point though I feel like we need to lynch Imran to confirm if he really is mafia or not. I have a hard time believing he's not, but it would obviously change the game a lot if that somehow is the case.
  16. Yeah I don't necessarily think what Imran did is scummy because it saved Velocity, but because it secured a no lynch at the very end of the day. Also I think that lynching Velocity/brewers before Imran would be dumb because it doesn't really prove anything and just loses us an active player who just got replaced in, whereas several people (myself obviously included) are pushing hard on Imran now, and one way or the other we'll learn a lot by how he flips.
  17. Well you're voting so I doubt it
  18. I'm not sure how you can say that you only log in once a day (we all do at best, you can see how bad the community is doing right now) and also that you somehow thought that 30 minutes was enough time for someone else to come in and hammer one of the inactives for you. On that note, I'm not sure if I buy that you just didn't realize how little time was left. Kevin's mod post that indicated the day ending in 30 minutes was literally right above yours, and you must've read it to know that Lyner's switch from Ferastical to Velocity put Velocity in line to be lynched. Besides, you didn't do the same thing that Lyner did because you switched your vote to someone that you knew only had one vote instead of switching it back to Ferastical. The vote switching in general is definitely weird, but basically ensuring that no one got lynched is definitely different and more worthy of a call out. Well Mr. "I Only Log In Once a Day", when I checked in on the second to last day, Ferastical was in line to be lynched, which I noted and said would've been ok with me. Dropping an extra vote on him at that point is a double edged sword, because it ensures that we at least get one inactive lynched, but if that person flips town like they statistically probably would've, then I probably get put in the hot seat for clinching a train on someone. By the time I checked in next, it was too late - Lyner and you had already switched votes and the day was over. I even said in my post before the game closed that I would've lynched someone if I'd seen what you did in time. I will say that normally I'd buy that non voters are more suspicious than the people who did vote, and outside of the inactives, I think they're probably our next best pool of people to find scum from. The only reason I'm calling you out specifically is for intentionally switching your vote to secure a no lynch.
  19. Seriously? Is no one even trying anymore? I guess at least Rafay and Lyner posted something (not counting Kevin lol), but deadline is already in 2 days and brewers has all but said that we're going to lose if we don't do anything today.
  20. That puts Ferastical at the deadline day requirement, if nothing else changes. Hard to argue with it though, idk what we're supposed to do with three people who can't even be bothered to read their role PMs. Just in case CoD is scum saving his friends Let's lynch Velocity instead Vote: Velocity Interesting late switch. Same could be said about you (switching vote to save your scum buddy). Let me do the same thing and keep it all on the level so that someone else can decide which inactive to hammer. Unvote Vote: iSoc Vote: Imran Switching your vote at the very end of the day to secure a no lynch seems super suspicious to me. Both mafia are lynch proof and possibly also have a role cop, so handing them a free NK + possible check of someone's role is the worst thing we could have done. The inactives aren't helping us anyway - mafia will just keep them alive because we won't know if any of them are scum or not, and they're basically free mislynches or at least people who won't vote and make it harder for town to get majority votes towards the end of the game - so it's not even like we'd be hurting ourselves to get rid of them early. Anything you want to say to defend yourself?
  21. Ok, so there is effectively zero chance that mafia is somehow missing 4 straight shots, but if anyone has been blocking kills up until now, I am begging you to speak up lol. There has to be something else going on with the setup. Brewers has assured us that the game rules (which we don't know) are not bastard, so for now I'm going to rule out the possibility that no scum team exists. However, I think I might've figured out a good theory for what is going on. What if the scum team doesn't have a night kill at all, but instead has some sort of primer and igniter mechanic? Maybe no one has been dying because the scum team has been priming people to be ignited, and they're waiting to ignite all of their targets and end the game. The only thing that wouldn't perfectly add up is why they didn't pull the trigger last night with three nights having passed and only 6 players left, since there have to be 2 scum alive at most, and killing three townies would obviously end the game. The only thing I can think is that if I'm right, then there's almost surely some firefighter sort of role somewhere, and it's possible that they didn't have all 3 targets primed and needed an extra night (or another mislynch) to secure the win. Does this seem realistic or am I off? I know it's a little far fetched, but I feel like the setup has to be different than what we're used to somehow, and this was the first thing that jumped to mind.
  22. Unvote Vote: iSoc This is actually pretty scummy since you did it right before deadline, which means no one is getting lynched today (deadline is passed or I'd lynch someone just to have something to analyze tomorrow). Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
  23. That puts Ferastical at the deadline day requirement, if nothing else changes. Hard to argue with it though, idk what we're supposed to do with three people who can't even be bothered to read their role PMs.
  24. Hammering is not a scum tell in this community's meta. Honestly, when was the last time a mafia hammered a townie? I know it's traditionally seen as scummy because it benefits mafia to get townies lynched, but this community has put every single person who hammers town under a spotlight so I honestly don't remember the last time mafia has done it. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not. Also I honestly can't stand this whole deal some people do about how "LWW suggested an idea that isn't what we always do so he must be scum." The reason mass claiming is usually not allowed is because it benefits town since they obviously can just claim their honest role while mafia have to fake claim, which is a lot easier to mess up and get caught by vs town having to figure you out via normal means. You can say that you just don't like mass claiming on principle or something, but there is literally no reason for me to suggest it if I'm scum because it would just make it easier for me to get caught. This makes no sense whatsoever. For one, it's dumb that I'm scummy if I hammer Velocity "because it's funny", but you are definitely not supposed to be considered scummy for voting anybody and everybody for the same reason, even though tossing votes on people seemingly to try to get a lynch train going is actually scummy. On that note, I like that your justification of the votes is that it wasn't putting anyone in danger of being lynched, when that's exactly what it does. Sure, it's not as much danger as, say, you're in right now, but lynch trains can pick up very quickly as I'm sure you're aware. It only takes one vote for other people to pile on, and then if you're scum you basically got a townie lynched and a bunch of other people that will probably get suspected first. Oh and secondly, OMGUS votes are one of the oldest scum tells in the book. How are you even putting that here as some sort of defense that you're not being scummy? It boggles the mind. Also, those aren't even all the scum tells you've made throughout the game. You kept doing your follow the mod thing even after it got a townie lynched - meaning at best it's random and at worst it indicates townies (probably eunuchs) instead of mafia - and then OMGUS voted me instead of justifying it when I pointed it out, and then unvoted and went back to doing it again. You stated that mafia have been blocked each night as fact even though no one has claimed any sort of protective role, which means you absolutely know something. Granted, it could mean you're one of the protective roles, if not the only one, but it could be equally possible that you're mafia and knew you kept getting blocked and forgot to not state it as fact, or maybe intentionally misrepresented what's been going on to confuse town into thinking it maybe has a chance to survive another mislynch. You ALSO did not scum hunt at all until just a few posts ago when you realized you might get lynched, and have ridden out joke votes and OMGUS votes the whole game, which is generally pretty solid scum strategy to skate by to a safe win. You can OMGUS vote me (again) for calling you out on your scummy behavior all you want, and you can post whatever makes you feel like you're justifying it with actual analysis if that helps you feel like you're actually trying. None of that changes that the majority of your play has not benefitted town at all, and in some cases has been extremely suspicious if not outright beneficial to scum.
