The town of NotQuiteClassicville was a bit out of the ordinary...well to those that didn't live there. People slept during the day rather then the night, walked backwards(although some walked backwards backwards), and had developed a strange language that even they couldn't understand(and thus never used). Most people attributed these strange behaviors to how the town was founded. It was once the location of a "cracker jack box". Apparently a bunch of the "cracker jacks" escaped into the nearby forest and in their not insanity founded the odd town. Hundreds of years later they lived alone and peacefully...or rather their descendents do.

 

Although the town was so odd, it was very nice. Crime was next to nothing, and the only recorded violent crime was an assault and battery charge against a visitor in the town. And that was 10 years ago. They lived moderately prosperous lives(although me and you would consider them dirt poor) and tended to shun new things(hence why gas lamps were common rather then electricity).

 

But this was all about to change. Something truly dreadful was about to happen. Someone somewhere was going to snap...and when they do who knows what's to become of the place?

 

And that something...happens tonight...well today.

 

As the sun dawned over the edge of horizon, the citizens of NotQuiteClassicville prepared for bed. Children read their parents stories and kissed them good night. The workaholics packed up whatever it was they were working on and walked backwards home through the emptying roads. A few people, brave or crazy(would being a crazy crazy make you more insane or less?), stayed up well past dawn, working or just playing around.

 

One such person staying up late finally got tired of sorting through her flowers(she owned a booming flower shop) and the bills(which really were random pieces of paper with no meaning but for some reason the townsfolk remembered something about bills so they pretended those papers were bills but had no idea what to do with them...but I digress) was headed home minding her own business when she felt some serious pain and all went black.

 

As the sun went down that evening and the citizens awoke, they found a gruesome seen. The flower lady had been murdered! Wait what was murder again? It had something to do with her and blood...oh right death! Oh wait she's dead!!!!!

 

The Flower Lady, an innocent, yet insane, businesswoman was beaten to death

Hiya all, missed the fact that this started, thus I'm a tad late ...

 

 

Having read the ongoings up to the above post, I'd echo the thought that Falzis is indeed acting a tad strange with that FOS and defence of Aquinas out of the blue.

I'd say it's normal to vote randomly on day 1, mostly I'd think, so it makes no sense to FOS someone so fast for having only cast a random vote; thus "fishy" is as good as any word to describe Falzis' reaction.

first: mole is not playing, although you can vote for him. the rule is somewhat of a joke.

 

second: i'll get right on that VC. although i do count non-bolded votes and will switch a vote for a person...if they dont bold it and dont unvote i run the risk of making a mistake...and if i do and it results in a mislynch then that's their own fault and won't be fixed.

I will not vote for Falzis, for this reason, this day. I am sure that I am townie. I will always play professing no more than the knowledge that that is indeed true. Knowing this, I find no reason for Falzis to defend me if he is indeed playing a scum role. A scum should not have come to my aid, as during this time there was little need and little merit to do so. I am thankful that Falzis did, surely it has misdirected some heat I have garnered to himself. I fear that if Falzis does indeed turn out to be scum from a lynch, you all will be suspicious of me next. I would ask his accusers this, what motivation would scum have in defending another scum that early in the game? With such a small case made it seems like it would do little more than draw unnecessary attention. Furthermore, as the scum are the only players to understand a majority of alignments early on it would be seemingly more beneficial to place suspicion on a independent party or redirect conversation than to rush to the defense of the other so hardly tarnished. If indeed somehow I am wrong which seems to me unlikely, I surely will not farewell in the days to come. However, I will again assert my position and defense that I will not vote for Falzis, a scum would have no reason to defend me, a townie the only thing I can be sure of.

If Falzis is scum and I am lynched your victory will be squandered by your realization of my innocence and loss of my benefit on behalf of the town. And where will you go from there? Continue to dig for murky accusations? If Falzis is a member of our town we will loose a good man, I will indeed hold you to some scrutiny although I will profess I hope it becomes that your are misguided rather than violent. Eh, if Falzis is innocent then you'll be off the hook and I'll likely be next on the lynch list. Which is fine, I'm willing to risk my life because Falzis is just acting so weird he has to be scum. It's not a vendetta, it's just Day 1 and I have no other basis to go on

Believe what you want to believe. I don't care. I'm pointing to those who have voted for me. Imagine that, four votes already!! I imagine there are three scum in this 11 person game, with at least one scum vote on me already.

...which means you believe BH, AKC, Wind, or Theo are scum (possibly 1 or more). Problem is I don't know Wind or Theo, AKC seemed to more or less take direction from me (and I think I was pretty compelling). Definitely something to take note of, if you are proven innocent.

I say lets get the hammer done on Falzis, and then see if he's scum or not. If not, it's curtains for me, if he IS then we're one step closer.

Since I doubt scum would charge straight ahead and put his neck out early on, I am more suspicious of AKC, Wind and Theo than Hades.

Falzis voted for Bastille Hades immediately when Bastille Hades voted kind of random. Which is something everyone does at the first day night. Does Falzis feel threatened that his partner in crime is getting a vote?

 

But then the fact that AKCPLUTO post to lynch Falzis without any good reason provided. Could it be that Bastille Hades henchmen AKCPLUTO voted for Falzis? His vote is without much reasoning. Saying that something smells fishy on the first day night goes a bit to far. Who is right?

 

For now I vote Falzis based on that it is indeed a bit suspicious.

 

This is just wrong. Aquinas was never in danger of being lynched, he got an RVS vote. I'm really at a lost why you and Theo would think that I felt the need to defend Aquinas, and that assuming I'm scum why defend him so outright. Nevermind that my post was also an RVS post along the lines of the flavor text plus it was an FOS and not a vote. =.=

 

Since I think this post implies an assumption of guilt on my part and AKC, and I think that scum already want to taint more people as scummy, and that based on this post AKC should have been more suspicious than I was (bandwagon no reasoning vote)...

I was voting randomly until Falzis acted up, and nothing he has said since has swayed me otherwise. As I said before, if Falzis is scum we can go after Aq, if not I think that puts Aq's head out the night 2 lynch noose....

Falzis seems like a good choice...however...if he is townie, then one of the four that voted for him is scum.

 

My gut is going to Windblade...so that's where my vote will go.
