An evil overlord, an out of the way town, a strange death, and a suppressed power...all the makings of a good story. Unfortunately, this isn't that town, nor are you those lucky few to go on the world saving adventure. But that doesn't mean that a story of some note isn't about to take place...

 

 

Hey uh...sorry i'm a little late getting this all out. I was really really really busy yesterday. I'll get everything together and throw it all out like now.

 

 

The Players

 

1. Theophilos, rich merchant, inheritor of a vast information ring, and Deputy, was imprisoned and sentenced to beheading Day 2.

2. KevinH, wealthy merchant, head of a vast information ring, and Cop, was found cut and poisoned during Night 1.

3. AKCPluto, wealthy merchant, evil and cunning murderer, and member of the "Mafia", was stabbed to death Day 1.

4. Kaziocore, wealthy merchant and Townie, lynched Day 3.

5. CanucksDynasty, wealthy merchant and member of the "Mafia", survives to end-game.

6. Electric Mango, wealthy merchant and Townie, killed by CD in end-game.

7. Martino, wealthy merchant and Townie, was stabbed to death Night 2.

I find it curious that all of sudden that everyone has started to vote for Theo.

The "End of Day 2" VC:

 

Theophilos: 3 - (CanucksDynasty, Kaziocore, Martino)

Kaziocore: 1 - (Electric Mango)

 

Not voting: 1 - (Theophilos)

 

 

The debate was rather fierce today. It quickly came down to two people: Theophilos and Kaziocore. They were both among the wealthiest of merchants, and had much to gain from Matt's death(although the same could be said about the other merchants...these two were most likely to take the majority of Matt's business).

 

The debate dragged on far longer then the previous one, and everyone was getting a bit anxious. In the end, Martino stood and, in a long speech, stated who he suspected most and why. As he came to a close, soldiers rushed forward and dragged Theophilos off to some jail cell. There he would rot for the next couple months before being beheaded publicly.

 

However, it was discovered that Theophilos was not out to kill Matt, although he wasn't just an unsuspecting bystander either. It turns out that he had taken KevinH's death as an opportunity, and had purchased the loyalty of Kevin's informers. Alas nothing was uncovered as to what he had been searching for.

Now it may be interesting learning why Theophilos was still beheaded. Turns out that the governor of the region had a bit of a dispute with him, and, even after the true killer of Matt Miller had been discovered, had brought up new charges against Theophilos with which he had him beheaded.

 

It is now Night 2. Night actions in to me before Monday morning.

After a quick break, they got back together to continue their discussions. However they quickly noticed that someone was missing, primarily cause he had a very vocal voice previously. Martino was missing.

 

As much as they searched they couldn't find anything...it seemed that he had disappeared off the face of the earth. Eventually they did find him, although not before consulting most of the servants in Matt's mansion(why they were still here after his death remains a mystery). Several working outside had noticed a dark figure sneaking off into Matt's hunting grounds(he had a huge forest and such to hunt in) followed shortly after by a second. Heading in the general direction they found Martino dead, stabbed in the chest several times.

 

Martino, wealthy merchant and Townie, was stabbed to death Night 2.

 

Edit: Oops. Forgot to mention that it's Day 3. 2 to lynch. There is no deadline lynching. Deadline is Saturday morning, however since this is obviously the last day I may allow it to continue until a lynch happens.

It's LYLO as only 3 remain (me, EM, and Kazio).

 

Martino's gut told him it's Kazio.

His logic said it's either Theo or EM.

 

 

Right now...I'm leaning towards EM being townie and Kazio being mafia.

Reason being is that EM didn't have to make the 2nd vote on Martino to get the discussion going.

We have lots of time to discuss...so please no one vote hastily.

Kaziocore could be the mafia because of the reasons Martino listed. Also, scum would have had a better statistical chance if Martino would not have been night killed. Instead of a 1/3 chance of lynching mafia, it would be 1/4 and the scum could end it with a night kill. Why would scum choose to lynch if they were given better odds? Perhaps their may be a doctor, but in a game this small I doubt it. I think that Kaziocore knew that Martino would vote for him and he could not risk that going into the final day.

 

CD could be the mafia because of his distancing hammer vote on AKC. Also both veterans (Kevin and Martino) were night killed, sounds like a CD move to me. Also he was one of the 1st to vote for Theo yesterday.

 

I'd like to hear what Kazio has to say next.

A no lynch would be horrible, so I'll have to settle for lynching Theo today and EM tomorrow:

 

@EM - IF you are mafia...perhaps you feared Martino would follow up on his word on voting for you tomorrow? So instead of a 1/4 chance...it probably gets reduced down to 1/2 chance. And your vote on Theo was the last (overkill much??).

If anything, Kaziocore said he was suspicious of me but chose not to vote because it wouldn't do any good anyway, so if I wanted to get rid of someone who was out to get me, it would be Kaziocore. Also my vote on Theo was to get things going, he was already at 3 votes and there wasn't anything that was going to stop him from being lynched as it was already Saturday anyway. I just sped the game up.

Why I chose CD instead of EM

1) If not Martino, who's the next best mafia player here that could guess that KevinH is scum?

2) and that could avoid the scum radar of people

Also you completely ignored (since i didn't see this in your post) what Martino said about EM and your Occam's razor thing that the scum is either Theo or EM.

Frankly, I point a pinky of suspicion at everyone, mentally, when the game starts. As I understand it, this game is a case of guilty until proven innocent.
