simply b/c of that statement
day 1 voting is more fruitful plunder than anything serious at least during the start imo

I'm contemplating the usefulness of a possible 1st day no-lynch vote in this game. I think we should wait and just see who dies to get some sort of clue.

I was going for the 'everything has a counter' idea, but that could be too - getting into action vs passive is a little over my head at the moment :-pWell in my opinion, you can't role block a bulletproof person as his ability is not a night action but a passive ability.
And now I guess the flurry of accusations begins? Also - when I read about the last game, everything started with sortof a flavor/npc event to get the ball rolling; I guess that's not happening this time.
Wow, CD already has a list @.@ You're picking up on some subtle stuff I guess.
Vote: 19thSpecOps, beacause he hasn't posted yet
Or maybe just overly twitchy/random stuff O.o I actually think ccabal has a valid point, or at least something worth asking - who else hasnt said anything yet?Vote: ccabal86

Ehh... yeah, I'll wait a day or so to learn how this works before putting in a vote (there's no sudden death like with the mafia roles is there?)
If I'm still clueless by Friday or so maybe I'll use a random number generator, for today at least XD

I checked, and he's the only one that hasn't said anything.

Unfortunately, it will be worse tomorrow after the probable night-kill and assuming there is not a cop, we won't have much more information than we have now.
If CanucksDynasty isn't night-killed, he must be scum!

I agree that on day 1 when "nobody knows nothin'", inactivity is as good a reason to lynch as any.*

He typically goes on a rant about no lynching, clearly his change in strategy is out of character and he is corrupted... Otherwise I'd vote an inactive. So far no one strikes me as suspicious. There are people from previous games such as Nerau, Kasabian who are often silent and its hard to tell whether they are mafia or not.

Normally, I would rather not lynch when the best strategy is to let the cop do his work.
However, in this instance it is very rational to assume that there is not a cop.

You seems pretty sure there is no cop , don't you?
Also ,you were the only one that voted for the roles that were more favorable to the scums, right? So that's what makes me think that you KevinH are a scum, for that reason

That's my line

How did you arrive at this conclusion if you don't mind me asking?
Well...nothing really too concreate as this is Day 1.
I probably will change my mind on a few as discussion continues.
It's more of a gut feel than anything else...
Martino - 1st to actually question KevinH suggestion. 1st to actually suggests that mafia wouldn't give townie cop roles.
(whereas Nerau, AKCPLUTO, and Choashawk merely added side commentry agreeing with KevinH)
Kasabian - 2nd to choose the 4-shot roleblocker (which is also my choice but 1st was KevinH)
Kaziocore - Fully explained the roles townies were probably given and the suggested mafia roles we should vote on
Chaoshawk - Has the same combo of roles that I picked as well (...but I have a hard time reading him so that may change)
ccabal86 - FIrst to suggest Bus Driver role is dangerous if we don't have cop roles
Games: NHL09, MGS4, LBP, T:WfC, KZ2, U:DF
Mafia: 24gp, 15W (8T/5M/2O), 9L (8T/1M)

I think we can all agree that there is no cop, so his change of strategy makes sense. Let's use this opportunity to show him once and for all that it is better to scumhunt and lynch on D1 then to play follow the cop.You seems pretty sure there is no cop , don't you?
Also ,you were the only one that voted for the roles that were more favorable to the scums, right? So that's what makes me think that you KevinH are a scum, for that reason

As to your reasoning, I think there are better targets out there. I'm more suspicious of those who eagerly followed KevinH's list and then switched as soon as I spoke up. There is no clear #1 target amongst them, but for now I will
vote AKCPLUTO.
19thspecops should be replaced if he does not become active, not lynched. It would be a wasted lynch as it would be completely random and give us no information.

Martino, perfect - you passed my "with it" test and my objective of pot-stirring has been reached. Withdraw FOS.
Withdraw vote of Janitor - I have the doubts Martino mentioned and need to see more discussion to reach a superior conclusion. LOL.
FOS: AKCPLUTO
============================================================================
We have 15 players and dividing between town and mafia
(DAY 1 Lynch)
DAY 1: 11-4
DAY 2: 9-4
DAY 3: 7-4
DAY 4: 5-4
(DAY 1 No Lynch)
DAY 1: 11-4
DAY 2: 10-4
DAY 3: 8-4
DAY 4: 6-4
Here I think lynching at day 1 gives us better chances of getting the scum than no lynching
so I think there's no point in no lynching.
And from this page, it says the townies have better chances of winning if the number
of players is odd (we are 15).

For me, I think it's better to lynch the inactive people first
specially the ones who posts every other day and doesn't really
add to the discussion...
Like it's bad if you post sparingly but it's worse that you post things like
- I agree
Something like that.
As of now I'll vote for Nerau...
Vote: Nerau
This is only to pressure you into posting more.
In the last game, it was hard to check for players who post seldomly.
Kasabian was killed first before picking Nerau next who is scum.
Here, I think we have 3 inactive people so it's worse if they could make it to the end
and still be inactive.
And as for 19thspecops,
I think he should immediately be replaced if he's too busy.
