Okay.. wow. On the one hand it's good to see people THIS active - 3 pages since the day started, and me getting on this after work on what should be the first day since the topic unlocked - but it seems accusations are flying fast and furious, and now I feel behind! Where to begin...

AKCPLUTO: immediately voted CD at start of day 3. Currently roleclaiming "Cowardly lifeguard"
CD: Immediately counter-voted AKCPLUTO
RoT: Bandwagoned on d3mon when TC voted it, later claiming it was a joke. Currently roleclaiming "vanilla townie".

Starting with AKC's claim, let's follow that one back:

I also wonder where this roleclaim suddenly comes from... the way I see it CaoCao is pretty much dead meat (provided all those virtual votes become real), but by claiming my role... AKC is suddenly extremely suspicious on my list...

TerrorChrist is misquoting the role, because there is no such thing as an ex-lifeguard; just a cowardly lifeguard. And I am the true cowardly lifeguard.

Now on my role...

I think I said it was ex-lifeguard, and so it was.

This really gives meaning to the phrase, "What's in a name?" In this case, possibly quite a lot. TC seems to have confirmed that his role is simply "Ex-Lifeguard", while AKCPLUTO is claiming his role is named "Cowardly Lifeguard", which is how it was written LAST game. It could be that mole labeled TC's role "ex-lifeguard" and AKCPLUTO's role "cowardly lifeguard", but that wouldn't be consistent. Remember that it is dangerous to try and secondguess mole's game mechanics TOO much... but this naming inconsistency is enough to earn AKCPLUTO a hard look today, and he started off with an immediate vote on CD.

As for CD:
He has the distinction of being the only one who voted both days for lynches that proved to be townies. I can't really fault any of the analysis I've seen from him thus far, but the voting record is worth bearing in mind as one of our few pieces of hard evidence - especially since this day has started so very strongly AKCPLUTO vs CD.

As for RoT:

Yeah... TC's d3mon vote and RoT's immediate bandwagon got a double from me. I could see it being a joke, but if you're joking, PLEASE be clear about that. Just as I told AKC earlier, posts containing nothing more than a vote or unvote with no accompanying reason draw a lot of attention.

Finally, concerning KevinH's being killed: Ouch that we've lost him; he was one of the two basically-proven townies we had and his analysis was valuable. As for his role though, "one-use martyr" sounds like a bodyguard role that dies if their target is attacked? If that's the case, it could be that scum targeted someone OTHER than KevinH last night - possibly TC? - and Kevin's role activated to make him die instead. I'm not sure if that TELLS us anything, though.

On another note: Kevin's having a role further enforces that we have yet to see any vanilla townies out of the 4 deaths thus far this game. Either we've been horribly unlucky with who we've been losing, or there are few-to-no vanilla townies this game. At present CD and RoT are both claiming vanilla townie. I'm not going to make any assumptions based on this information alone, but it's definitely a factor we need to keep in mind.

LYLO today... this one will probably go down to the wire with us doublechecking ourselves to the last minute. We've got to make the right choice today.

I'd also like to add that AKC is Narsis' replacement who made that infamous Day 1 claim.

Yes, it can be argued that technically another person made that claim, but the GENERAL agenda of the original player and the replacement must be the same. Couple that with the naming inconsistency and that "long hard look" seems even more warranted.

@Preston - there should be a couple of vanilla townies in this game. I recall that mole mentioning something about maybe it was a mistake not to have any. In the last game...that's how we were able to find out who were mafia.

GAME NOTES (made up right now):

- I'd like to apologise again Re: The cock up with the Security Guard on night 1. I tried to defuse the situation as best I could, and I did hope that it wouldn't be seen as indicative of ccabal's alignment, but there you go. It happens, I guess.

- I tried to make the game interesting by putting in lots of one-use power roles for the town so there would be no vanilla townies. However, this did mean that there were a lot more confirmable townies in the game, which really narrowed down lynch targets later on in the game. I tried to balance it with Electric Mango and ccabal, along with Preston's lack of ability to hammer, but I don't think I balanced it out quite enough.
I don't think not giving the scum fakeclaims helped either. But I was hoping on a bit of imaginative lying.

- Once it got to the final day, I think the outcome was inevitable. Props to Preston, you played the game really well.

I have no idea about rules about consistency, but:
a) I do not see how it would be impossible that different people are in a supermarket than somewhere else, but...
I'd think it is more consistent that a cowardly lifeguard would search for another (less scary) job and thus become an ex lifeguard... or is this just silly thinking?

@TC - what is the name of your role? Is it "Ex-Lifeguard" or "First Aid Lifeguard"?

This is important cuz if it's "First Aid Lifeguard" it lends credibility to AKC's roleclaim.

If it's "Ex-Lifeguard" then we need to question why AKC's role name is specific and yours is not.

TC is a known townie cuz he used his ability to revive Nerau. If EM is townie...then the game is over. If he is not lynched in a couple of days...then clearly mafia are ACK and EM.
