Since, this is part 2 of TWCWPTI... I would expect a number of roles to be similar. I might be wrong but thats the assumption that I am currently working with.
Be careful about trying to guess the meta-game TOO much; trying to figure out Mole's organization of the other game led to EM getting lynched.
I am willing to listen to what TC has to say but would prefer if he said something other than "This is my first time".
Just like you, I think somebody made a mistake, but in my opinion that player is TC.
I'm not agreeing with your accusation of TC at the moment, but I will note that last game Tactical Evil Dan played the "It's my first time" card - and he was scum. My first game two games ago I played the "It's my first time" card to preemptively deter any suspicion, because I was scum. Playing up one's newbie status can be the perfect cover and excuse for actions that would otherwise be considered suspicious.
My advice to TC: we're not anti-newbie by any means. We'll gladly answer questions about how the game works, etc, and I encourage you to ask them if anything is unclear - or alternately PM mole privately. But this is a game about paranoia, analysis and accusation where every little thing one does is suspect - every statement can be picked apart for nuance. This is the reason that editing posts is not allowed: you cannot go back and fix a post that reveals something you didn't intend, or change your story after the fact. If you're new, you're new: but don't expect to be above suspicion because of it, or use it as an excuse.
