If we vote someone we should definitely vote an inactive. At lest that's what I'm going to do.

"If we vote someone ..." is a big if.
I do agree that inactives should generally be sacrificed before actives.
This Friday will be 3 months since April Fool's Day. I won't be making any posts that day.

Hey all. I'm checking in, but will have limited access as well starting Saturday - I'll try to check in but no promises. I signed up as a replacement, and apparently Ive already been called in - doesnt speak well for how this game is going in terms of activity x.x
As for Tracker and Sir Rebrl: Welcome, and I dont think we actually do THAT heavy of RP during usual posts Neat to read though.
Im not going to sling a random vote yet since at present I dont even know who is/isnt inactive... I'll make sure to drop SOMETHING down before Saturday though.

Tracker was petrified for a moment as the memories began to overtake him. In a final attempt to not relapse, he scanned the room for something or someone to focus upon. He didn't even have to try, as a man across the room pointed at him and in a firm voice said "I vote for Tracker!" How did this man know his name and face; Tracker was reasonably certain he had never seen this man before in his life, and yet now the man was voting for him. What was the vote for? More observation would be required to discern that. Tracker put down his groceries in a small corner and took a seat by the window, taking a small moment to grimace at the down pouring rain. He then began to survey the crowd as another person wearing a... hockey jersey, maybe, said "I vote for KevinH!" The target of the hockey fan's point then said "I vote for no lynch!" They were... playing a game, perhaps? Maybe a LARP that was forced to come inside thanks to the rain? Tracker concluded that it was best to play along; it would give him something to do and not give him time to think upon the past.
"Well... I vote for... no lynch as well!"

KevinH was shocked. It was Day One but there were some interesting and entertaining posts to read. And somebody had voted no-lynch with him. This was surely going to be a different style of game...
Happy Canada Day!

Forum seems to have eaten my post - that or my computer. I dont have time to rewrite it all as I need to get on the road, and I dont know if I'll have internet access while I'm away.
Summary:
1) So far votes look normal
2) Way more inactives than we should be seeing on day 1; I was a replacement and already called in.
3) I'm still a proponent of the day 1 lynch to get voting records (though last game it was me as mafia trying to kill d3mon), but with this many inactives I dont think there will be enough conversation to make the day's votes 'meaningful' in terms of a voting record so no-lynch may be the way to go.
4) If I had to vote right now I could vote for an inactive, but that's taking the cheap way out. I'd probably pick someone like d3mon that I don't have a "usual" for - i.e. kevinH is always no-lynch, CD is always kevin; but dont know the others and picking one of them would be more meaningful.
5) I am not going to officially vote because if information comes out or a bandwagon starts on whomever I voted for, I would not be able to change or retract my vote to react to it if I don't get internet access.
6) Hopefully I can return before the next day starts, but if not then good luck for the rest of day 1!

Sorry guys for being inactive.
My hdd just died so I bough a new one...
Anyway I think that we should lynch someone.
Just like what Peron said, we need all the information
we can get...
LYNCH D1
8 - 3
6 - 3
4 - 3
DEAD
NO LYNCH D1
8 - 3
7 - 3
5 - 3
DEAD
Assuming we have 3 mafia players and mislynch each time,
the first one is better as we are given 3 chances of lynching
the scum unlike the second option.
So my first default vote would be for an inactive.
I'd rather mislynch an inactive player than an active one.
The active ones (the mafia) can always make a mistake
or slip up the longer they play than inactive players whose
identity can't be fully known with their lack of posts.
They're dangerous when they survive until the end game.
Vote: MindTaker

We're getting information about who wants to follow a pro-town strategy and who doesn't.

@Kaziocore I agree that lynching inactives is better than lynching an active.
@Preston Voting an inactive does sound like a cheap way out but even if it is a mislynch.. it would hurt the town a lot less than an active townie being lynched. Any active player would contribute to the discussion and thus help the town.
MOD: Can we get a prod on Stargazer and MindTaker? Also, do we have any replacements available?
