Lynch vs No Lynch

At this time, it seems that a lot of people are trying to push for a lynch on day 1. While, I agree that it provides some kind of voting pattern that can be used on day 2, it can also lead to lynching of a townie power role (maybe even the cop) and with a number of first timers in this game.. I would much rather take everyone into day 2.

Anyhow, my FoS

KF2001 - I find any votes that don't accompany an opinion suspicious.. his unvote had nothing to support it and thus he finds a place in my FoS.

SirCrocodile - Editing a post + retaliatory vote on Kazio + bandwagoning with BeeBs.

Alright, this is the 3rd time this has happened.

Following that train of thought, I have to ask; we have little knowledge, only when people confirmed and who voted for who based on that. There is no real reason to vote for anybody, so a no lynch would be in place. The problem with that is that as Electric Mango said, a no lynch would leave us where we are today minus a few people who were night killed and possibly a cop investigation. A truly random lynch is best at the moment, with no real reason to accuse or defend and we all have to take a stand behind a single chosen victim or we will not get enough votes behind a single person to lynch.

I wanted a no-lynch earlier in the game, so I voted a no-lynch. That's all there is to the first time. The other two have explanations.

SirCrocodile is still on my suspicions list and I don't find it at all suspicious that he is now ganging up on me. As I mentioned in my earlier posts the scum will try to blend in and go where the general consensus is going and they will switch votes. Both SirCrocodile and KF2001 fit the bill. I made a decision at the start and I am not following anyone and changing my vote. Trying to make me look as scum solely based on me going for lynch option as compared to no lynch and that Kaziocre followed me is ridiculous and laughable at best. Specially when a few others have been making the same points as me.

I will stick to my vote and let the others make their own decisions.

I would propose on day 2 that we do exactly what is happening now.

The difference being that somebody might know something.

We also need to help the cop "blend in".
So everyone should make suggestions about who the think are townies and who they think are scum tomorrow.

Then if the cop gets killed we can still use his suggestions.

I disagree. I think that we've actually got some decent back and forth going that voting today wouldn't be a total guess. Plus, we're going to a lot more equip on day two with all this discussion and voting/unvoting than we would be with only a cop investigation.

I'd follow suit and give an FOS on KF2001 as well, but I don't find it suspicious, instead I think he's just not really involved. If it were someone I had played with before who had been doing the same thing, someone I knew to have made better rationale votes, I might feel differently.

As far as SirCrocodile, I think he has now had all his fair warnings. I'd be tempted to vote for him if he continued to post edit, but I'd rather leave that up to the mod. On the other hand, it's a matter of trust. I can't trust someone to follow the rules, and stick to what they say, they'll have to go.

So since we already had quite a bit of discussion and it has been interesting and we saw some voting patterns maybe its time to reach a general consensus. As it sounds now I think the voting is split between me, SirCrocodile and no lynch. I didnt like a flurry of no lynch votes with no discussion, picking a target revealed quite a bit already I think. if the majority agrees, I would be happy for a no lynch option for Day 1 and see who the scum target on the first night and also if we get some info from the cop (if hes around).
