No one truly knows if they're going to lynched or not when when they're voted upon with my vote.

I would pile on the pressure by helping to send them to L-1, if everyone else doesn't intend to no lynch then I wouldn't bother holding my vote back from lynching someone.

I have been wondering the same thing. My best guess will be they picked Innocent child, Vigilante and 1-shot cop. Why?

 

innocent child - no power really and with 10 townies its unlikely the ic will be picked to lynch and even then just missing one mislynch on a townie is not that important.

 

vigilante: he has a higher probability of picking off townies in the early nights. vig mis-killing helps the scum.

 

1-shot cop: this is a close one but I think they will go for this role. the cop has only 1-shot of identifying just one of the scum. its unlikely the cop will want to use this ability early which gives the scum more time to kill off the cop.

 

as opposed to:

 

jailkeeper: this is a pretty strong role and works almost as well as the cop and he has no handicap 1-shot or 2-shot ability

 

tracker - no handicap on his abilities and he has a better chance of identifying the scum as he can track a scum who sends in a kill.

can't they have multiple of the same roles though?  In that case they might have more innocent childs and less night abilities

http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Pick_Your_Poison (referenced in post #3) shows 0 or 1 of each of the power roles, so I don't think we'll have multiples in this game.

i tend to agree with the power roles you laid out. the tracker and jailkeeper are the best things we've got going for cops since most of the town power roles will not be using their abilities each night.

I agree with the role speculations but it seems irrelevant. We'll find out the roles when they are claimed or when there are two night kills. Before that I don't see how it would affect our play.

It's not going to be easy because

  • nobody knows nothing'

  • we're risking a lynch of a townie power role
  • the scum won't lynch themselves

2. That's always gonna be the case.
3. That's gonna be the case until we lost all three.
1. & 4. By lynching someone we get info from the voting records so we at least know something tomorrow.

To be honest I don't care that much who we lynch as long as we lynch someone. Ideally we should have two competing wagons towards the end of the day.
