The guests sit down to dinner. They had each won an essay writing contest sponsored by Horror writer Stephen King. They had to explain which character from the television show The Dead Zone was there favorite and why. There had been tens of thousands of entries and only one entry was picked for each character.

Here you are now one of the chosen few, sitting down to dinner with Stephen King himself at the welcoming party he is throwing at his Maine estate for the winners before the start of the grand prize, a Dead Zone themed weekend that will be attended by the actors who played your favorite characters.

Dinner is over and you all go off to bed, after all tomorrow is going to be a big day. There was a major storm during the night and you hardly slept at all between the thunder and anticipation. You head on down to the dining room for breakfast.

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good night’s sleep. I regret to inform you that the bridge is out; it seems it was swept away in
the storm. Sadly this means that the cast will not be able to get here. The lights suddenly go out and there is a loud roar of thunder and a bolt of lightning illuminates the room. The lights quickly come back on but you decide it’s better to be safe and hand out flashlights to all the guests only something is wrong. As you give the last of the guests a flashlight you realize there isn’t one left for you. “This is strange, there were only supposed to be the x of you and I had enough flashlights for myself and each of you. It appears someone has crashed the party.” Before Mr. King can elaborate the lights go out again, only this time they stay out for several minutes. When the lights come back on you see Mr. King covered in blood, dead from multiple stab wounds. There is a note written in almost illegible writing.

 

“Welcome to The Dead Zone. By now you have probably begun to notice that things are not quite right. No matter for worry, I simply drugged last night’s meal. I’m sorry I had to kill Mr. King but he said I was not important enough for the contest, so nobody wrote letters for me. It’s time to play a little game, were going to see just how well you know your favorite characters. You have to figure out who I am before I kill all of you. The lights are set to go out again in 1 hours’ time, at which point I will kill again. We will keep playing this little game until you are all dead, good luck.”

 

Panic starts to spread until Reverend Purdy stands up and calls for calm. Wait Reverend Purdy, but he’s a fictional character. He seems to be making sense so you decide to go with it. The group all agrees with his plan, you will work together to find the killer before time runs out. People start making wild accusations about each other before Greg Stillson calls for quite; at this point fictional characters are the least of your concern. He suggests that we vote on whom to kill, surprisingly Johnny agrees with him.

I dont have any powers that prevent people from finding me. If you tried to "find" me on night 3, I was jailed that night. That might be the reason. If it was on night 4, then I have no idea.

How about lynching Shadow?

 

If he really was inactive, he would've been replaced like Zacch. Which leads me to believe he hasn't really been inactive since he came here; he just didn't post here. I see no point in that, unless he's a maffia-character.

I would say theres 1 more Mafia left and 1 SK.

 

So 2 vs 5. If we mislynch today that will make it 2 vs 4 going into the night and if the Mafia and SK dont hit the other, we will be at a 2 vs 2 scenario at which point Town loses. So todays lynch is very important.

 

My opinion is Walt Bannerman needs to come forward and role claim and reveal his results. Even if we get 1 0r 2 confirmed townies it will reduce our odds of mislynching. Otherwise, there is a very high probability that he will die during the night and with him we dead we will lose all investigative results.

Night 3:  I went looking for scum.  I had my top 3 scum narrowed down to Commander Shepherd, d3mon, or Shadow.  Shadow I ruled out because he is inactive and poses no immediate threat.  That narrowed it down to two.  On a hunch I investigated d3mon and it paid off.  Scum.  

 

Night 4:  With 1 scum lynched, one Sk'd, and the other in my sights, I went looking for our serial killer.  My top 2 suspects were Muted Faith and Lyner.  They were the only two active townies who did not roleclaim.  Shadow also did not role claim but could not be the Sk due to his inactivity.

After a mental coin flip I selected my target and began my investigation.  I was not disappointed with my results.  Lyner, scum.

EM did your investigations tell you which one is the mafia scum and which one is the SK? You say both your results came back as scum. How do you know Lyner is the SK and not another mafia scum?

After we hear their versions, maybe CoD can tell us who he touched on night 4 and maybe prove/disprove some of the claims/counterclaims.

The dead line is coming up soon on Monday. D3mon may be stalling to end the day with a no majority non lynch. We can't afford to wait any longer.

on night 4 I unlocked a secret ability. I saw everyone who interacted with Iron Helix but not what they did. Since we know that Shepard was a mafia its easy to determine that EM is a townie. 

 

Electric Mango, iSoc, and Commander Shepard all interacted with Helix. Therefore Electric is most likely telling the truth (unless the scum have some sort of investigation role).

I am who I say I am. CoD helped confirm that. I was the first one to vote to lynch Kevin. d3mon did not vote to lynch Kevin. I claimed cop and no one else counter claimed. These are all good reasons. Also Shadow really is inactive and cannot be the serial killer or mafia member.
