Anyway this is looking pretty good, there are 4 possible outcomes:

1. Yates are scum and Theo is townie

2. Yates are scum and Theo is another type of scum

3. Yates are townie and Theo is scum

4. Both are townies

 

1 is stupid, 2 is not bad, 3 is good, and incase there is a redirector or something like that then 4 can happens, there are 3 out of 4 chances that we'll certainly get a scum

Tell me what I'm missing.

If Theo knows what I have on him FIRST, he can make up an excuse for why I have that type of a result.

Conversely, if he knows he's caught but doesn't know EXACTLY what I have yet, he is forced to *guess* at what I have on him and just spill the beans. If he's Town, and there's a Town reason for my result, there's no reason for him to lie or be nervous. He can just tell us his night action without fear of prosecution.

There ARE Town reasons I could have had the result I had, but those reasons are very very few. That said, it would be very bad to lynch someone that had at least one of those Town reasons for the night action results I received. Comprende?

I'm built to handle the target on my back, so no biggy. Even if I wasn't? That still doesn't excuse you for not knowing the order information needs to be revealed in. Pushing me to reveal first is the least productive agenda you could possibly be pushing right now.

First thing first though, @Yates ... I have other "slightly" more important things to do in the Republic as well, since I oversee a number of departments Thus this particular thread isn't on top of my ToDo list >.<

 

Anyway, I have three pages to read it appears ... my night action was directed at Electric Mango. My vote on Yates stays though as he hasn't given any credible evidence that would justify his vote on me.

The fact is that Yates gave no proof of anything and I'm certainly not going to give someone I'm assuming is scum any more information.

Ok, how would Theo targeting EM be considered scummy? Yates, so you have really two choices, you can somehow confirm Theo visited EM, or would you claim he visited somebody else. I don't see how Theo targeting EM would be scummy. Unless I'm missing something?

You're missing something.

If there are two factions [as today's post would seem to indicate] then at least one of those factions - it is safe to assume - has a way of finding and/or blocking members of the other faction. A third option would be an arsonist/poisoner type of role but those are significantly less common.

Also, Theo needs to be significantly more forthcoming with his information. His assertion that he is "assuming" I am scum based on the fact that he knows I know he had a night action is exactly the OPPOSITE of a Town response.

Let's say you were a doctor as an example, Robert. And last night you tried to protect someone. If I voted you off the bat and said you needed to explain yourself, what would your response be? Would you assume I was scum, as Theo is claiming, OR would you think to yourself, "Gee, how would Yates know I visited someone last night unless he had some type of investigative ability?"
