Minister of Defense (P&W)
So I broke down and rented the movie from Red Box. Got it on blue ray, simply cause I could and never saw anything in HD or on a Blue Ray disk. I found the movie very interesting for being a Disney movie to say the least. I've drawn up some conclusions on my own, but was wondering,
(for those who've saw the movie also) What you guys thought of the movie? Did it feel like a Disney Movie to you guys?

meh it was a okay movie not my type, I like movies like Full Metal Jacket or Saving Private Ryan or even 300 the two movies. I would have to say a 4 out of 10 starts compare to my movie that I liked that is a Disney move which is The Tooth Fairy movies
Wrought IRON
I thought it was really enjoyable, the thing I didn't like, is that it seemed like they wrote the movie, and then half way thru they didn't like the way it was going and completely changed it up who the bad guy was going to be. Since the actual bad guy basically comes out of nowhere.
They also completely marginalized the male lead in the movie, he was basically useless the entire movie. Shouldn't we be sending a better message to our young boys?

I felt it was more orientated towards female audiences. With bring things to the table more sinister things for villeins. I was caught off guard. Usually, Disney has a way of introducing a villain. They tossed that out the rule book. Also. that one song, I couldn't help but face palm hard. "He's a bit of a fixer-uper. " sure Disney, lets degrade things now. I Enjoyed the movie as it caught me off guard. I like the characters. (Except MAJORITY OF THE MALE CHARACTERS.) Music was good, except that one song.

It was a good movie, and I wasn't expecting who the villain turned out to be.
Been wanting to share this for awhile now. Its a video by Nostalgia Critic who does his own version of Let it Go.

I didn't mind it. The music was pretty good, the characters were interesting, and I actually laughed several times at some of Olaf's lines.
I didn't know who the villain was going to be until a bit later, but I called what was going to happen before they actually revealed the villain.
Theo's Defeat
I took two of my cousins (girls) to see it. They enjoyed it a lot and I liked it too ... must be that growing up with Disney stories/books/movies stays with you.

The plot seemed kind of thin. Elsa froze everything and the whole movie is just about convincing her to come back and unfreeze stuff. Also, it isn't clear how Elsa was able to finally bring her powers under control, which was the whole point of the movie.

Pretty good. I was disappointed that most the music was very similar.

she is the ice queen, so its not like she sweats, and if she did perhaps the oils/sweat/dirt freezes and crystallizes on her skin and then its the simple process of wiping it off.
or you know it could just be a disney movie, and you are way over thinking it.
