Over looking at all of the above arguements I feel that Mole is tending towards mafia, trying to extract reasons from everyone, which for me, as I have never seen his style of play is suspicious.

If we're leading towards a lynch, I urge you to look at firstly Falzis, then those who quickly jumped onto my wagon without that much reasoning - you're sure to find a couple of scum in there somewhere.

I also urge those who are voting for me to make SPECIFIC cases, not just vague crap. I can't reply to vague 'I think he's leading us' statements. Give me examples, and I can.

Alright I'll make my case for the last time.

I thought mole was more likely to be druggie or mafia since he pounced on my WIFOM and "breadcrumb", which was a weak basis as agreed even by others, and was even questioned by Narsis of whether me being a druggie was a high probability - so that he could push for a townie lynch (because even if he was either mafia or druggie, a townie lynch on D1 will be advantageous in the long run).

I admit I was overly defensive but that is just my nature (look at my posts in Texas thread I always make my case persistently and loudly). A second vote on someone is very serious so I took it very seriously.

So with that in mind, and my behind at stake, to tie the votes (since I'm assuming Narsis will revote for me, she just doesn't want to be the Lynch-1 vote)...

seriously though...i'd like to see why Canucks, captain, and curu are voting mole. like he said they seem to be very general very vague reasons. fence-sitting/vague reasons don't help the town one bit.

Well, EM's vote is still a random one (although I am not sure). Kevin's vote is quite vague too, he said it was because of my reasoning (which he agreed was consistent and persistent). I dunno why that's a bad thing and what in my reasoning was "scummy". Of course you and mole still hinge your vote on the WIFOM, "breacrumbing", and OMGUS vote.

How many times do I have to explain this - the WIFOM and Breadcrumb vote was NOT an attempt to get you lynched. It was merely the best vote I had at the time and was in no way meant to get you killed.
Your poor and strangely over-defensive posts after that convinced me my vote was worth persuing.

a vote is not always to kill. votes are often also placed for pressure. in this case i believe that was why mole voted you. to put some pressure on and see what came out of it. and boy did something come out of it...

1) Exactly.
2) No, no, no, no. A vote does NOT always mean to lynch someone.
3) I don't look at meta (A person's previous playstyle). If it's obvious enough to mean something, I'll pick it up (See - EM, KevinH). So, I don't know, and I'm not using that as a basis for my vote.

Votes = pressure is a concept I fully understand well. But the pressure comes because votes = lynch/kill. So you can't dichotomize both characteristics of when a person votes.

Exactly the opposite.
It seemed to me that Falzis was throwing out anything possible to see what would "stick".

Could Mole be scum? Absolutely.
Could Falzis be scum? Absolutely.

Who made the better argument? Mole. My vote stays on Falzis.

I first voted for Mole because I scanned through the first few pages of this thread, and saw all his spilled ink across the screen. Frankly, I thought "where there's smoke, there's fire." And when you don't understand the rules of the game, that's about all you have to go on.

It's still my first game. But I understand it marginally better now. I understand that the druggies know who the scum are. And that they want to kill the mafia because then they'll get the NK. I also understand that you're never going to get real "evidence" here. All you're going to get is finger-pointing. "He posted this, so he must be scum." So there's going to be an element of uncertainty. That's unavoidable.

I voted for Mole because I thought he was the first to lead discussion to try and lynch someone. I thought that was a sign he knew who the scum was, and that therefore he too was scum. Frankly, though, his first serious vote ("RVS is over...") still seems flippant. No rationale is provided there.

Who seemed to cast the first serious vote? Probably still Mole. He did claim "RVS is over," indicating he took it seriously. But the absence of rationale there seems to show that he did it to try and feel Falzis out through his reaction- not something you'd need to do if you were certain. The next "serious" vote seems to be Falzis- firing back at Mole.

What else is there to go on? I keep coming back to Falzis quote from early on in the thread:

I think the drug dealers have something to ride on with the random voting stage. They can vote "randomly" but in reality are voting for Mafia and hopefully create a trend of votes. So as of now any "random" vote could actually be not random at all. Hopefully this will give us hints as to who are druggies and scummies.

At that point, he was laying low and hadn't cast any votes yet. After things picked up, he's been driving conversation ever since.

Earlier I wrote that I was leaning between Mole and Falzis. I still am. But now I'm leaning towards Falzis.

Wow, I think the lynch will give us very good information to go off of tomorrow. We had 3 people (Curufinwe, CD, and Falzis) pile votes on Mole taking him to the brink of death, only to be saved for what I believe to be the the hammer votes of Captain8track and Narsis.

I believe a lynch scene should be coming shortly.

Captain8track took the podium and delivered the rationale behind his decision to vote for mole. When he was finished, Falzis fidgeted nervously, and suddenly sprinting away. "GET HIM!!" The crowd yelled, and several people ran after him. As they dragged him toward the noose, two people in the crowd suppressed their smirks. After he was hanged, he was searched and in his waistline the town discovered a 9mm handgun.

"WE GOT HIM! WOOHOO!!" the crowd yelled. Drug-dealers and townies alike celebrated in the streets, but one lone figure slipped away, eager to begin his revenge for his fallen comrade.

Falzis, Mafia Goon, has been lynched.
