July 15, 201511 yr comment_788271 Duck Dynasty? Is it good. It's pretty famous. It's alright. Basically just a family of rednecks who have more money than they know what to do with. "Si", as he's called is a pretty funny guy. Especially his obsession with black panthers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlcMQUXawAU Report
July 15, 201511 yr comment_788304 The Last Ship - A really good show that I enjoy. It has some 'Why would you do that?' moments in it, but tell me any post-apocalypse series or movie that doesn't. It's interesting to see how a Navy ship would work. Some Navy veterans say there's a lot of inaccuracies (like someone not taking their cover off on the bridge) but that's just menial things that obviously wouldn't bother me, because I don't know it's inaccurate. The Borgias - An oldie Showtime series that I watch over almost every year. Really good.Rome - Also a really good HBO show but it's an oldie. Veep - Also really funny, it's about an incompetent Vice President of the United States and her incompetent staff. True Detective - Season 1 was really good, Season 2 is picking up pace right now. Tyrant - About a dictator of a Middle Eastern country and his family, also a really good show. Ray Donovan - Not everyone's cup of tea but the first season especially was really good. My watch-list for the next few months: 1992BetweenJonathan Strange and Mr NorrellTexas RisingWaywood Pines Haven't watched these yet but read their reviews and their plots and I'm really interested to see what they deliver. I'm heavy into mafia and mob plots so I think 1992 will be a good alternative as we're all so used to watching The Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire and we fail to really see how the mafia started in Italy and is still operating in Italy. July 15, 201511 yr comment_788326 Jacob Zuma, I strongly recommend Wayward Pines. I watch the first 6 episodes to catch up in like 2 days and now I cant wait for the next one. I still cant tell exactly which one of my theories is going on. Its a real brain twister. I recommend this to everyone. If yall have access to netflix they have a bunch of good series. House of cards is pretty amazing. If you not into politics it may be hard to keep up with but its worth it. Daredevil was pretty awesome. Good story and pretty good action. Marco Polo was also really good. Definitely and acquired taste, but I liked it. Jacod Zuma what is Jonathan strange and Mr Norrel? Report
July 16, 201511 yr comment_788350 Jacod Zuma what is Jonathan strange and Mr Norrel? It's about 2 magicians in the early 1800's going head-to-head. The plot and storyline is supposedly fantastic - but it's not for your average viewer. It requires thinking etc. like you said with Wayward Pines. I love series/movies like that so I'm really keen on watching it soon. First on my list is 1992 though. Report
July 16, 201511 yr comment_788351 Gotcha. Sounds interesting. Where can I find that? Also what is 1992? never heard of it. Report

July 16, 201511 yr comment_788358 Season 2 teaser just came out today. Wouldn't peg any of those actors to play dark roles (except maybe Colin Farrell) which is why I'm looking forward to it so much.Wow can't wait. This may be what Vince and Colin need to breathe new life into their careers. The writing on True Detective is amazing. So how's season two so far? I'm waiting until I arrive in the US to binge watch it. Report

Every single episode of Pretty Little Liars is like a drug!!! No wonder why it's a hit even among male population! Report

I'm waiting until I arrive in the US to binge watch it. I like the second season as much as I liked the first one. The first one had a more 'cult' suspense that I liked though. The media clearly has a vendetta against the second season. After every episode airs major reviewing websites criticize the new episode saying how bad the new season is etc. I can't stand their criticism. The second season might not be as good as the first one but it's not bad at all. Report
July 16, 201511 yr comment_788386 Ya I heard the second season was on point. I heard the first 2 episodes were so so then it got better. Im afraid to binge watch it now because I dont like to wait for the next episode to air. Another HBO one ive been watching is Ballers. Has anyone seen it? I like it alot, partially because I like The Rock as an actor. Report
November 5, 201510 yr Author comment_810916 Has anyone watched "The Man in the High Castle"? Only 2 episodes have been released. Rest will be released altogether on Nov. 20. I've watched the 1st one and it was really awesome. It's based on a novel of the same name. It's alternate history where Nazis control half USA and other half is controlled by Japan and the 2 new super-powers are in a Cold-War of their own. Its set in 1962. Report
November 5, 201510 yr comment_810926 I like the new season of Homeland so far. Refreshing that it's less about terrorism and more about straight espionage. Report
November 6, 201510 yr Author comment_810937 Homeland so far Crazy chick, brainwashed soldier turned terrorist. Watched a few eps but didn't like it much to follow. I've started Game of Thrones. And has any1 seen Quantico? Its enjoyable too. Report

December 11, 201510 yr comment_816326 Most american drama shows are extremely overdramatic and not realistic at all. I still like grey's anatomy though. You could try youtube for Maury. I'm not sure if it is on netflix Report

The lie detectors and the paternity tests. It honestly made me sad for humanity when they had women on there who tested like 8 guys and none of them were the kid's dad. Not sure where to find them, I can't say I ever came across them on netflix. I imagine some site online may. January 19, 201610 yr comment_823571 Hey Rhizo... just browsed your list... I think you would really like "Justified".I'm binge watching "The Americans" right now. Netflix discs, so it's a slow binge. I've heard good things. Is it on Netflix by chance? Most of the show's I got in after a few seasons and then went on a binge spree when most of the shows are off air for the season. I'll definitely take a look, always up for a new show. Usually how I get into them, someone tells me it's worth watching. The Americans is a good show. It never kept me really on the edge of my seat where I'm like damn I have to wait a week to see what happens, but nonetheless it's been good enough to keep me watching. Also heard Fox is coming out with a new installment of 24, with a new Jack. Can't say I'm really excited about it, 24 was a show I loved (loved when they came back for the 1 season a year or two ago), but without Keither Sutherland as Jack, I don't know if it can live up. Gotham is another show I am into as well, forgot that on my list but thinking about Fox made me think of it. Report
January 19, 201610 yr comment_823574 I know you can get the discs on Netflix... I don't think it's streamed. I never watched "The Americans" before... I didn't think I would like a show about Russian agents living in the USA, but a friend told me that it's worth watching, so I gave it a try. I'm just starting season 2, and I'm not hating it, but I'm not loving it either. I have to like the characters in a show, no matter if they are evil or not, and I'm not connecting well with these guys. 24 was really good, with a really good format. It gets on me how they can get from one side of Los Angeles to the other, all the time on a cell phone, during rush hour... in 10 minutes. I lived most of my life in LA, so I know it's not possible. Yes, a new 24 with no Jack Bauer. I will give it a shot, because I know Jack has been through way too much, and pretty damn spent. Somehow, someway, I think they will sneak him in the show. We shall see. Report
