Sorry for the inactivity.

 

After reading the posts since my last reply the only certain townie feel I get is from Imran.

 

Yehom is most likely town. I want to ask though, do you have any modifier to your role?

 

iSoc is pretty townie, until the roleclaim. I don't find it convincing to go out like that since exposing a bad role would benefit the mafia far more than the town(the mafia wouldn't bother lynching him, and town can't confirm his townie-ness). The targets he picked are also convenient.

 

TW's roleclaim is interesting, there are only around 2 x-shot roles that fit his descriptions, if he doesn't get hanged today the bodyguard should protect him.

 

The rests didn't stand out too much. I would need to re-read the entire thread to form more detailed thoughts

Yeah I kinda agree with Lyner's post above.

 

I am OK with Yehom's roleclaim but have reservations about iSocialisms one. TWs claim (half claim?) will make more sense if we know for sure what his role is but he has provided an explanation that can fit a few possible roles. So I am not really leaning towards lynching one of these 3 today.

 

For the others, its good that EM is at least posting but he is still in my scummy list. Also Finster just affirmed my assertion that he just seems to be running towards where the most the convenient lynch is with his vote on TW. I am however probably wrong with my theory that he and TW are working together. Also Rafay continues to post one line posts without much input and Perez continues his lurking activity.

 

My recommendation/ short-list for todays lynch will be: Rafay, Perez, EM or FB.

ps: Also interested in hearing ccabals thoughts. A fresh new perspective is always helpful.

@Lyner - Who would you advocate for lynching today?

I am still wondering why Rafay, Perez, or EM have not made more of an effort to post since several people have noted their suspicion about them. I am leaning towards voting for Rafay at this point. He shows up to post one line quick hits periodically and then goes silent again as the discussion turns in other directions. It just seems like trying to skate by unnoticed.

I am interested in hearing what cc thinks as well since he can bring a fresh look at everything.

At this point TW or fin can end up be town or scum. Jury still out on yehom, but if true I don't forsee him lasting long. Rafray needs to post more or I'd be OK with lynching him as he providing no help.

Anyway, there's only 2 days left so we need to decide who to lynch. I am going with:

Apart from lurking and making suspicious posts I also have some extra information on him. I was not going to reveal my action/power but with only 2 days left and as we are still undecided on who to lynch,  I feel the information I have on him can possibly help the town decide on whether to lynch him or not.

I used my action on Rafay on N1. From that, I know he is a 3-shot Role Stopper. I do not know his alignment (town or scum). After I found out his role, I was unsure whether he is infact a town power role or a scum with a power role. I decided to monitor him on D2 and D3 and see if I can ascertain his townliness or scumminess. He has however made no move to help the town or even indicate if he has a power which may help the town at night or scum hunt during the day. He has continued lurking and making one-line posts accusing someone or other and then disappearing. Compare that to others who have claimed their roles or have attempted to help the town to scum hunt. As others may have noticed I have always expressed reservations about anyone who claims to have a power role to be automatically be considered a townie. This is partly because of Rafay. As D2 progressed I noticed that almost  every one in this game has a power role. I believe the scum also have power roles apart from their kill ability. Otherwise, the balance of power will be too much towards the town if there are say just 4/5 scum with no action at night while all townies are using theirs.

So I started thinking what are the potential roles scum can have. Obviously they may have the usual Godfather role, but they probably will also have some roles which counters the various watchers/trackers/followers in the game like the Role Blocker or the Role Stopper. I wont be surprised if they have their own Watcher/Follower as well or the Neopolitan that iSocialism has claimed. These are all roles which are extremely helpful to the scum to counter the various power abilities of the town.

Now coming back to Rafay and his Role Stopper abilit, I now believe that the Role Stopper is an extremely useful tool for the scum to have in a game which has a lot of townie watchers/trackers as well as protective roles such as the bodyguard that we have seen and also probably a doc. A role stopper can target a townie and nullify all these power roles while his scum buddy makes the kill. So a townie targetted by a role stopper can not be protected by a doc or be watched by a Watcher making it possible for his scum buddy to make a perfect kill without anyone being the wiser.

So in summary, coupled with Rafay's suspicious activities and his suspicious role I believe he is the best lynch choice for today. I would have preferred to monitor him for another day or so but with deadline approaching fast we need to make a decision so I am gonna go with my gut feeling on this one. To make it clear I do not know his alignment so he may very well be a townie power role so everyone has to make up their own minds regarding the info I have presented.

You make a good case, I can follow you as you seem to be pro town, but I hope we don't make the same mistake as with Rusken and don't lynch TW for another day... (He's again not voting for anyone and thus not giving us information for the 2nd straight day)

Perez seems the most guilty to me. Has been quiet/ lurking for a lot of this game. Perez, Rafay and I were all getting pressure for that. Shortly after Perez tries to take the heat off of himself and onto another so he voted for me because he knew others might jump on the wagon. It seemed opportunistic. Also his half role claim doesn't sit well with me. Either come out and say it or don't say anything at all. Something seems off with him.
