Okay pay attention gang. This happened in South Carolina today. I guess some pretty rude protesters showed up and the Trump crowd was not in the mood to put up with it. This is why this man is probably gonna win this whole thing in a trot. He has his finger on the pulse of an angry electorate, he knows what moves us, and it will pay off in spades with votes at the ballot box.

Or else the constant promoting of violence will turn off huge swathes of the electorate and you had better get used to President Clinton.
The polls are not in your favour on this one. Trump is not popular outside of his fanbase.

Well, I have to agree that CNN has stopped being the default go-to foreign news agency for me a long time ago. I just don't think their quality of reporting is up to par anymore. The BBC used to be a lot better, but lately they seem to follow suite
BBC is to Britain as RT is to Russia.

Good Morning Ice... Donald Trump defies gravity. I've never seen anything like it. The smartest political minds on the planet have written his obituary a dozen times since he declared his candidacy, and he just keeps getting stronger.
Trump says he will build the wall, kick out the illegals, fix the trade deficit, take back the jobs lost to China and Mexico, rebuild the military, take care of our veterans, destroy ISIS, balance the budget, bring down the debt, renegotiate all the deals with other countries, repatriate 3-5 trillion dollars back into the USA, and eliminate government waste and corruption.
Everything every politician elected has not done... and they even have said that it's too hard or not possible. Donald Trump says he will do it, and he not only says he will do it... he says it will be easy. This is everything everybody wants... and you think people will not vote for him because he insults Megyn Kelly?
He's not even running for the general yet. He still is running for the nomination. He seals up the nomination, and he will switch his campaign. Do you believe that Donald Trump will not negotiate with the Democrat base? He knows the Union leaders personally... hell the Unions have worked with him. Trump will not promise them favorable legislation to keep their Unions alive... he will promise them contracts. How do you think the Democrats will do without the support of the Unions?
Trump is running a brilliant campaign, inside the perfect storm.
I think we'll take a chance with 4 years and see what he can do.

You just like your kind of angry mob, but if the other side gets angry, oooo nooooees!

They like incriminating their own nationality to much for that to be fair.

.
most of these "smartest political minds" are talking about the election result, Trump continuing to find a crowd isn't weird in a country with enough people.
.
Trump says he will build the wall, kick out the illegals, fix the trade deficit, take back the jobs lost to China and Mexico, rebuild the military, take care of our veterans, destroy ISIS, balance the budget, bring down the debt, renegotiate all the deals with other countries, repatriate 3-5 trillion dollars back into the USA, and eliminate government waste and corruption.
.
Yay a wall, cause who needs scenery.
Yay kicking out illegals, we just aren't sure who gets classified as "illegal", anyone not voting Trump?
*lots of work stuff*, how communist of you!
Rebuild the military? You want China-blob mentality?
Destroy ISIS, and what about the next one that spawns from carbet bombing the middle east, or should we just lob some nukes so its just cockroaches?
Basically all you say here gets said by a hundred loudmouths in as many nations around the globe, I have yet found myself wanting to move to paradise made by these people.
.

ooo unions, how socialist of him.

I know you don't like to think of this but the world wouldn't like to "take a chance", no country with that mentality got anywhere nice.

Yeah, this is good. Do you think if I can fit it on a bumper sticker, the Democrats will finally understand that the Federal Government is not responsible for solving every complex problem? I think it's a brilliant idea.

Considering your list of Trump Administration goals require that the federal government take action to address supposed problems, I'm not sure what your point is. Going down you list:
Under Trump you'll supposedly get:
[The Federal Government] will build the wall.
[Agents of the Federal Government] will kick out the illegals.
[Federal legislative actions (?)] will fix the trade deficit.*
[Federal legislative actions (?)] will take back the jobs lost to China and Mexico.*
[The Federal Government] will rebuild the military.
[The Federal Government] will take care of our veterans. (n.b.: regardless of whether this is direct, via the VA, or indirect, via federal spending to private medical establishments, it is the Federal Government doing something)
[The Federal Government] will destroy ISIS. (Unless you know of a competing non-Federal Government Air Force that we can use)
[The Federal Government] will balance the budget / bring down the debt. (Again, it has to be some kind of Federal Government action in the form of spending cuts and/or tax increases, though it is hard to imagine how this can be done with the extra military and veterans spending in the previous 3 points)
[The Federal Government] will renegotiate all the deals with other countries. (What other party could do it?)
Maybe you view the starred legislative actions as "government getting out of the way" and thus not having them solve a complex problem (offshoring of American manufacturing, which has been going on since the 1970s). Other goals (wall construction, military expansion) do however require direct government action: private enterprises don't spontaneously generate walls along national borders or aircraft carriers without prompting in the form of government spending.
If Trump was a libertarian, then sure, that might be a good line making use of Mencken's quote, but Trump is no libertarian.

Well thats an issue more american conservatives face, they aren't really conservative (as keep what we have) but more inclined to actual regression (before was better). And while both can be usefull to follow, time itself only goes 1 direction.
I have also discovered the next nation the Republicans want to invade: Canada!
also, to rub it in, 'merika!

To apply this slightly further, lets look at Trumps proposals.
He is going to cut taxes, increase government spending on the military and reduce the deficit. Now that implies that there is a magic deficit reduction button that is super easy to use, and frees up vast amounts of cash for expensive programmes.
So either every single President has been an utter idiot, or they have not been particularly keen on ensuring popularity for their party.

It's obvious Trump's plan involves creating wealth, labor participation, and cutting welfare. He's not going to say that, because he is running for President, and he needs the welfare voters just as much as Hillary and Bernie do. Where everyone goes wrong with the math is they ignore the fact that labor participation is lower than it was in the 70's, but population has exploded to more than 310 million. Trump plans to get everyone working again, and that equals 'yuge' tax revenues. Can he do it?... let's put it another way... we must do it. We have no choice. I'll give him 4 years to see what he can do... in my eyes it can't get any worse.

I love this! Everything on Trump's list IS the responsibility of the Federal Government. It's everything on Bernie's list that is not the responsibility of the Federal Government. If you disagree, then you guys have some amendments to get through. Crack that whip!

Times have evolved in the following ways:
Double income households are now the norm for a family life.
Further automatisation and upscaling has left us with less hands needed from more return.
These 2 don't make for suddenly massive amount of new job creation, actually its a reverse thats happening.
You know what our politicians and union reps are starting to do? Demanding a "We will create X amount of jobs with Y amount of tax reduction" paper to be signed by employers. Know howmany of these papers have been signed yet? Take a guess, its a very round number >_>
If jobs just magically come true cause someone said they would, why didn't it happen yet?

Economic growth hasn't fixed the need to top up wages with welfare, so the next method is a 50% minimum wage rise over 5 years.
We shall see if this roll of the dice actually reduces the welfare bill.

Well looks like this could be the start of the end of Trump. He just took on the Pope. That would definitely change the minds of some Catholic voters. This guy is a maniac. He's not just against Muslims, he's against all good men. Pure evil; the death of liberty is Donald Trump!!!

He didn't take on the Pope... He said he felt honored to be talked about by the Pope, and the Pope doesn't understand the problems we have with illegal immigration. South Carolina has the lowest Catholic population in the country, and they say it will probably help him. We Americans, really don't like world leaders, including the Pope, interfering, or injecting their opinions in our politics. If anything at all... it just raised the credibility of Donald Trump and more people will show up to support him.
How many times have people said that "Trump did it this time... he's dead now"... I know I did it twice myself. We shall see tomorrow night. I think he will break 40% in South Carolina, and Tuesday he will do better than that in Nevada. Everyone is just embarrassing themselves... they are doing everything they can to stop Trump, and nothing will stop him.

Actually, at 9% Catholic, South Carolina has 1.5x the proportion of Catholics as the least-Catholic state: Alabama (6%). Full list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church_in_the_United_States#Catholicism_by_state
Maybe "we Americans" don't like world leaders giving opinions on our domestic stuff, but the Pope is really popular (and Donald Trump is not).

Actually Niels, I got my information from people on the news, so I'm glad your keeping watch.
I guess I should have said that "I don't believe there are enough Pope following Catholics anywhere in the United States, that will change their minds because a Pope with an obvious political agenda says anything about Trump, to even make a dent in the inevitable outcome of Donald Trump winning now, or in the foreseeable future". Better?
