A couple things we learned last night... if 3 dragons are flying above your ship, the worst thing you could do is stand there and stare at them, and always feed the dogs. What confused me the most was Sansa tells Ramsey, "You're gonna die tomorrow, Lord Bolton", and then rides off... then Ramsey talks about his dogs not eating for 7 days. Later Sansa says, "You said it yourself... the dogs haven't eaten in 7 days"... she wasn't there to hear him say that, but I guess it's in the script.

Another Stark bites the dust, and Jon should have listened to Sansa, and not fell for Ramsey's trap. The plan was not to charge, but they did anyway. Petyr Baelish will be unveiling his true intent.

I believe I figured out what the "old rumor" is... it's if the Wild Fire that was installed by the Mad King to burn Kings Landing, is still there... I think Cersei will burn it all, and kill everyone in the process. Remember back when Dani was in the House of the Undying... she had a vision of the throne room, and the roof was burned out and snow was all over the ground. Jamie will freak when his sister kills herself, and Tommen, and everyone. We shall see...

Cersai was having the Pyromancers make more wildfire. I think she knows that there is plenty of it around already so it being a rumor seems redundant.

Sansa is a moron for no telling Jon that Littlefinger is coming. S: "we need more men." J: "We don't have any more men so we fight with what we have." S: "oh, well I called the vale to come help us and they should be here tomorrow so if we wait a little bit we will totally have surprise and numbers on our side." J: "Oh sweet we can have them roll in right when Ramsay starts trying to be a sick bastard and then we can maximize our chances of saving Rickon."

Very good points. I was saying the same thing about keeping the Vale communication a secret with hubby at lunch today. Also, even if Sansa didn't actually witness Ramsey make the starved hound threat, she was probably told about it.

I bet Sansa will have to mary him now or something...

Also last episode with the hound, the leader of the 3 men he was looking to kill looked a lot like Euron, but it wasn't him right?

Most important thing we should learn out this episode was not to ever run in a straight line when someone is shooting at us :P.

Battle scene was pretty cool until Bolton's infantry come in and magically surrounded Jon's "army". Also that epic fell was lost a bit with distant camera shots. It didn't feel like 5-8 thousands clashing together...more like 200-400 at most (and no, it wasn't really possible they got 90% casualties up to this point). Also how the hell that huge pile of corpses appeared? Were they playing "king of the hill" mode or something?

Other than that, those outrageous costs to feed the dragons are finally paying of.

Also how the hell that huge pile of corpses appeared?

lol..yeah. I found that funny as well. Looked like a ripoff from 300.

Also its disappointing how they completely ignored to demonstrate how Dany actually controlled the dragons. This was a big issue in the books where she has no idea how to control them let alone make them do coordinated strikes at ships.

Also funny how the Sons of the Harpy suddenly appeared outside the gates conveniently s that the dothraki can wipe them out. Gaping plot holes but I guess they really needed to wrap up the Meereen seige.

I am disappointed that the giant died.

The giant always sided with Jon Snow, even after Jon Snow killed his kin during the siege of Castle Black. It's like he knew something the others didn't. He looked at Jon like he was telling him he was finished, he gave him all he could give, and now he has to finish what needs to be done... one of the most powerful scenes in the episode.

Imran, the sons of the harpy are fighting for a return to slavery and are supported by the masters. It makes perfect sense that they would use them to kill anyone attempting to flee the city, especially since they thought that danys army couldn't stop them.

Wun Wun sided with tormund and tormund sided with Jon. He was fighting for the free folk, and he saw that Jon was too, hence why he was willing to help.

Another plot hole i laughed at was that when the vale army arrives Wun Wun is on the far side of the fighting from Ramsay. Therefore for him to go with Tormund and Jon after Ramday he somehow teleported through Jons army and the circling Vale army.

Also when they show the Boltons encircle Jons army, they completely encircle it in the distant shot, but then it shows them trapping then against one of the magical corpse piles that appeared from just the cavalry fighting.

I'm surprised you guys paid that much attention to the detail, did you watch it more than once? :P Although I did notice a few of the things mentioned, keenly where everyone was located, almost the entire battle was CGI. For $10 million this episode came out better than most movies.

I honestly had thought (for a moment) that Jon was going to die because they waited so long before little finger stormed in.

I know what you mean, Hung, on all counts.  In any other program I wouldn't have worried, but this is GoT and they'll kill anyone.

It all ends tonight, for this year anyway.

Then once again the long wait for April-May 2017 to get a new chapter. It's the life we have chosen.

It's going to be a frustrating year.

Brings me back to the good old times on the Summer holidays when I first started watching and watched from Season 1 - 4 in about 3 days  :D

but guys how the hell did Varys get from Dorn to Dany's ship like that?

I had same question, also Arya at the Twins, hubby thinks time has gone by. Jamie is home, that trip takes several days, so I agree with Hubs.
