They haven't exactly been clear about the laws in the show

 

Not in the show but its pretty clear in the books. The Targs even fought a whole civil war when one highborn bastard was chosen by the king over his true heir. I am talking about Daemon Blackfyre for those who read the World of Ice and Fire.


 

 

He has either received a hit to the spine (but that would be awfully convenient lucky hit) or there was some kind of a poison (which we got no indication of). Either way it wasn't the strongest part of the episode

 

Its wasnt too unlikely. I assumed he was stabbed in the liver. The positioning looked correct. That will result in a very fast death compared to a stab in the stomach.

 

Theres a scene in the movie Gangs of New York where Daniel Day Lewis was teaching Leo Caprio how to kill a man quickly. One ofthe stabs was to the liver. That came to mind when I saw this scene.

But that is the issue, the show has many differences from the books. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities that the laws are different.

Well according to the laws of Westeros, Jon is still a bastard. Rhaegar didn't marry Lyanna. So Dany's claim is still stronger than Jon's.

Targs practiced polygamy. It is quite likely that Jon is a legitimate offspring, in which case his claim trumps Dany's.The fact that supports this is the presence of Kingsguard at the Tower of Joy. If Jon wasn't the legit prince, why did they stay and give their lives to protect him?

 

All this talk is fairly redundant because Targs already lost the rights of succession due to Robert's conquest. Even if he was a Targ, Jon has no interest in the Iron throne anyway. He sees it for what it really is, a red herring. The real war is against the others and (imo) the Dragons. That is the war that matters and Jon is focusing his energy into that.

 

Loved the episode, especially the North scene and the burning of the sept. Jon being made the King in the North was a big surprise for me. I'd thought they'd do it as a war of the 5 queens sorta thing. I'm actually pretty happy for Cersei and I legit laughed when Tommen jumped. :P Still Frey pie takes the cake for me. You go be the boss bitch Arya! :D

MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.
 
Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.

Samus, you should be proud that you've helped make an environment where people feel safe enough to share their experiences.

I also was expecting 5 queens.  I'm still not ruling it out.  I'm also pondering a marriage btwn Bran and Dani, a marriage btwn the north and south.  It isn't like either will be producing any offspring unless the sun rises in the east.

My coworker wanted to know what happened on ep10 because she couldn't watch it Sunday, so I told her pretty much the exact opposite but made it sound believable by revealing certain context clues from the episode. She hated me on Tuesday for crushing all her hopes. lol

The baratheons are dead so whoever has the power to take the throne has the strongest claim. I agree jon likely won't take the throne, nor do i expect him to marry dany. Bran and Meera might be close after their harrowing adventure.
