The speed with which people are accepting Lyner as a vote alternative today is... interesting. There's not much that can be said about him (other than inactivity) beyond what iSoc points out: Lyner was not on lego's wagon or was not on AbT's wagon, and instead placed a vote on KH during the AbT lynch.

Lyner remains one of those who have not been investigated and per earlier I do not fully trust his semi frequent excuses for inactivity... but at this point we have four votes on him that have been placed nearly back-to-back, including Mazuurek's only post of the current day.

KevinH - Another list with Lyner as odd player out, after previously shifting from KingHitler to Wolfpacks.

When I see votes shift this fast I tend to think there's a scum in there somewhere jumping onto a 'safe' wagon, and it makes me leery.

ONE MORE VOTE will end the day. I suggest we be careful about hammering Lyner until we're sure that is what we want to do. Personally I still find King Hitler more suspicious due to the contradictions and his 'giving up' posts. At minimum if he is not today's lynch, please investigate him tonight to try and settle the matter.

I don't have warm feelings about King Hitler either. I will associate myself with Preston's comments that King Hitler should be vigorously investigated this evening, tho we do need to guard against a Godfather.

I think there's some doubt for sure about KH's status. I personally like to see the cop investigate him for sure.

Out of the 9 of us left, there's at least 2 scum. It gives us a little wiggle room.

Then he made a bunch of posts that a scum would not make if they were trying to pretend to be a townie.

This also goes back to my theory that scum players will try to descredit people townie points quiet often. Lyner has done that in my mind.  He is the better of the two to go after.

 

I don't think he is the best candidate. I'm also assuming that there was four scums to start with. If lyner flips town. The last scum will be a hard one to point out. I think the last scum is playing a good game. But I have my ideas on who it my be.

 

I don't see any point of posting the vote list without explaining further. If you're using my vote record for accusing me then you're no better than me, honestly.

 

Anyway I already explained my yesterday vote that it was more of a FoS rather than a vote since AbT is already close to the lynch limit and I might've ended the day early if I voted him.

 

After all that you proceed to say that I'm not the best candidate but insist on voting me? If you haven't been cleared by Kevin I'd vote you right now

 

 

I don't know what to respond against Kevin and Finster's vote other since it feels like a OMGUS vote. And Mazu is just following wagon.

 

 

On to the updated player profiles:

KevinH - Confirmed sane cop

 

iSoc - Confirmed as town by cop

Preston - Confirmed as town by cop

Wolfpacks -  Confirmed as town by cop

 

Mazuurek - New to the game and so far only writes one sentence post. High priority for a cop investigation imo.

Sister Midnight - Two times voted the right scums. Safe to assume as a town

Finster Baby - Also voted for the right scums twice. Safe to assume as town

King Hitler - Townie points for voting lego on early game, but the rests of the game have been scummy.

 

 

I think we should focus on clearing the non-confirmed players first, and deal with godfather later(since at most there should only be 1 godfather), and KingH is the perfect candidate for today's lynch. I disagree with Kevin that King said things scum wouldn't say, as it can be explained as a noob scum move. Also after rereading AbT's posts I found that AbT has indirectly defended him early games when Samus was starting to wagon him.

Anyway if I'm lynched today, I don't think it's a good idea to investigate King since his contradictory and weird posts could just be a Godfather bait, better to just kill him imo, we can afford some mistakes (assuming only 2 scums left). Also put iSoc high on the godfather suspect list.

I think King Hilter was/is trolling, he has been active trying to been was on lego's wagon pretty early. His claims has been fishy, but maybe he lied about his x-shot and got caught. I think he wants us to lynch him because he's tired of getting called out every day.

King Hitler's main point in his favor remains that Lego vote. However it is VERY difficult for me to reconcile him actually lying about his role like that. I see no reason for a townie to lie in the first place. Even if his posts since being confronted are not what Kevin would expect a savvy scum to do, neither are they what I would have expected from a townie. I would have expected confusion over why he was being accused, not... giving up posts, and "What magic is this?" - a quote from Book 1's main bad guy.

SO: King Hitler, this is your opportunity to speak up and explain the posts youve made, especially those since you were called out. Clarify and confirm your role, and what you did which night, and what results you were given that made you post the way you did. If you can back it up, that may carry some weight to reduce the suspicion on you.

On the flip side, welcome back Lyner? Whatever happened to "I wont be posting much until weekends, RL stuff?"? Looks like you were lurking after all, to see yourself suddenly at 4 votes and needing to respond to it! But I'm glad you're here to speak up in your own defense at least.

I agree with clearing or confirming the non-confirmed players before seeking a Godfather, if one exists - which does make me a little curious why Kevin was pushing Wolfpacks earlier.

Let's not rush this until both KH and Lyner have had more of a say... if someone hammers Lyner and he proves town, we'll be fairly certain scum are on that wagon.
