I will admit that I have been sitting back and watching this day unfold for the past few days. I was mainly on my phone reading and was waiting to get to my computer to type out my thoughts. All the talk I have seen has been about Lego, with the side talk about Rafay. I'm in the same boat where I think they are both town, and could see them being set up for a quick lynched. However, there is no reason to defend them just because if they were to be town. Both of them are a distraction. Rafay should have been gone yesterday, but I think some people, including myself thought he was town and was hoping to come around. He doesn't even give a reason for not talking. It's alright, if you still trying to figure things out, but not talking will not help you. SM has approved by admitting she doesn't know much about this playstyle, but has been able to get around that by adding thoughts and asking question.

Which leads me to lego the exact opposite. Instead of being quite, he is the most talkative. I use the word talkative, because active doesn't really suit him IMPO. Most of his talk hasn't been actively scum hunting, besides a few post. It's been more of a try-hard town feel what the word on the street is saying, I think he has given up and is being anti-town now. I rather the discussion be some where else, but I don't think we are able to let lego side. This may sound like a vote for lego, but I don't want it that way. I'm with Preston here, I want discussion else where, and find the passive-aggressive approach by Kevin suspicious.

My reason for voting for legoboy on d2 over d1, I still stand by what I said on day one that lynching someone will get you nowhere, there isn't enough evidence that lead you to anyone person, I was suspicious of Legoboy from the start as I have said and nothing as changed my view on this, to me role claiming as quick as he did seems pointless and if anything put more pressure on himself, to say he is happy to sacrifice himself isn't helpful either, but then I haven't seen anything by anyone else that's made me suspicious either. I very much dislike the way that Rafay and mazuurek play as well there is no help from them either, so I can't vote for all three sadly,

I don't think Rafay is scum, he is just being himself, and he should be kept for D1 votes.

So why do I want to lynch D34THBRINGER?

Apart from the #1-3 in my prior post...

A. Jumping onto 1ceCream, when D1 votes are nearly never serious, and bandwagoning so fast without saying much is extremely suspicious.

B. Overall scummy feeling.

C. He seems to know a lot. Finster... confirmed town? On Day 1? Scums are the only people who know who is whom apart from cops and things like that.

D. Jumping on me. Not too many are buying it, except for Ali and CoD. I don't think SM is fully convinced. Sure, I have made mistakes. But not lynch worthy IMO.

E. Gets defensive, a bit?

D34th(26 post), a first timer in long term mafia. Actually posted his thoughts and didn't just fluff around confusing people. Got a "townie" feelings on Finster, and Finster only. Have been focusing on Lego since the start of the game. A model townie imo, except for the fact that he didn't even try to suspect anyone other than Lego in all those posts.   @D34THBR1NG3R, I would really like to hear your opinion on other people, and if you still feel the same for Finster. Otherwise you just looked like a scum that have already decided who he have to target and therefore try to look like a contributing townie.

 

I didn't try to suspect anyone else because I felt if we did this systematically (I will explain later in the post) then it would be much easier to go ahead with and get the scum in such a better way.

As for my opinion in other people, since I BELIEVE Lego is scum, I would have to think that Ali bin Turban, Wolfpacks, Chaplain of Death, and Sister Midnight are innocent solely because I don't think scum will vote for one of their own. 

(BTW never analysed like this so it might not be the best)

and also since I don't know everyone's play style please don't be offended if I call you out based on your regular playstyle

 

 

KevinH: seems pretty helpful and scum searching although I haven't really seen much in the past couple of days because of RL stuff, yes I've read through whenever possible but it's hard to get a full grasp of things

 

Finster Baby: I realized people got really annoyed and suspicious when I said "confirmed town" but then I said it was just a vibe, even when I said that people still got annoyed. As I said above, unless there is some play for Finster to get annoyed at Lego so he (Finster) looks less suspicious, Finster is actually annoyd by the accusations being thrown at him consttantly by Lego based on what I said ONCE. Any other proof tat me and Finster are in cahoots will gladly be appreciated

 

Rafay: I said I hope people don't get offended for calling them out on their playstyle but his playstyle just annoys the hell out of me, it helps no one, not even scum unless he talks in scum chat and it's a childish move IMO so no one can ever know what you're thinking and call you it on it based on how you acted in previous games

 

Lyner: He seems very helpful and analytic although I guess that's how he won last game so I don't really know what to say about him :/

 

Mazuurek: Not really much to say considering he hasn't said very much at all, or at least not much that's impotant

4.) wash, rise, and repeat until all are dead

 

 

So in D3aths post #318 he quotes Lyner from his post #302, however hes attributed that quote to me.  Mistake because he lifted it from my quote of Lyner, or attempt to mislead the town by attributing quotes to the wrong people? Leaning towards the former but going to be keeping an eye on that behavior d3ath.

@Lego, so 1ceCream has quoted me, you said it was interesting and FoSed me basing on this. Then I asked you why did you consider it interesting...and your explanation is that because it was interesting and slightly suspicious???:

 

 

And I considered that post of 1ceCream's interesting, and your quote looked slightly suspicious to me. Thus a FoS. But it wasn't enough for a vote.

 

It proves you actually can't explain your action.

 

@Rest of you - I think Lego is our road map to the rest of the scums (maybe not every one of them but at least a few). His role claim proves nothing. There are safe name claims for sure - they were in the last game, why wouldn't they be this time?

His interaction with few other players are fishy (with 1ceCream for instance or his fake quarreling with Finster who in one post is hesitating if he should vote Rafay or Lego (http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/57842-tw-03-harry-potter-and-the-chamber-of-secrets-mafia-day-2/page-15#entry875237), but 8 posts later apparently forgets to place him on his potential scum list (http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/57842-tw-03-harry-potter-and-the-chamber-of-secrets-mafia-day-2/page-15#entry875302))

Reading some of these recent posts hurts my head trying to parse out what is actually being said.

Lego and D34TH are back and forth with rapid-fire posts yet little NEW content being added. Lego has finally voted back for D34TH - a return vote, no surprise to anyone.

What really caught my eye however is that Wolfpacks unvoted from the 5-person Lego wagon... and voted no-lynch?? Not being sure about Lego (or indeed anyone) is fine, but swapping to a D2 no-lynch vote is VERY strange in my eyes. No-lynch's value on D1 is literally debatable, but from D2 onward it basically means town giving up on the game in the hope that someone will roleclaim. So no-lynch strikes me as trying to be almost TOO safe, potentially as Wolfpacks sees Lego's wagon momentum slowing.

Ali again asked Lego for more detail about his "interesting" response to 1ceCream's post, which quoted Ali talking about Mandarijn. It seemed to me like Lego's FoS on Ali was in response to Ali having anything related to Mandarijn, with not much deeper meaning given to it - i.e. it's thin, but at the time it seems Lego took 1ceCream's "this is all I could find" at face value. Ali has voiced a scenario where Rafay sets up asking who had anything to do with Mandarijn, 1ceCream responds, and Lego runs with it; I think that is why Ali wants more detail from Lego, but from Lego's responses it doesn't seem like he has anything else to give.

And D34TH's response to Finster has me shaking MY head - if people are still asking you a question then you can either quote where you have answered it previously, or reiterate/explain again in different/clearer language. This is a game of questions, answers and persuasion - Finster clearly said that Lego has raised a valid point for D34TH to respond to, and that it would influence Finster's vote - at that point D34TH should be trying to convince Finster, instead of refusing to repeat/elaborate on the point. I know it's repetitive because we've been mulling over the same content for D1 and D2 now, but please answer so that some sort of group decision can follow.

In a very real sense we are still at the same place we were at the end of D1 in terms of information. Only differences are that Mandarijn is dead, anyone with a PR /might/ have information to subtly use, we've got a few more posts from D2 start but overall people are more inactive than D1.
