With the arsonists also being able to kill people tomorrow, it'll definitly get interesting then. It can go very quick then (in the wrong or right direction for us).

I feel you're forgetting a variable in all this, and it's one you brought up about isocialism being so concerned with, which is the Arsonist.  The arsonist is obviously a SK.  SLMK before he retired from modding the game bumped up arsonist's ability to ignite from N2.  The arsonist after tonight will be able to have primed 2 people...and can ignite any time of the day.  We could very well end up with different numbers then you're suggesting just on that.   That all depends on who the arsonist has primed and if they're still alive or not to kill them off.  We could possibly have 1-2 less people then what you're highlighting in your scenarios.  SLMK mentioned limits applied to his powers, not sure what they're.  

 

You're right, I've neglected arsonists influence. However I don't think he'll be a threat for us at this right moment. He needs to survive in order to win, therefore killing people at this point will make him more vulnerable (as there are still 2 other factions making a kill each night). Each kill arsonist performs increases probability of him being targeted by scum teams (and he can't trade blows with them). Also due to the fact that he can make kill order, it is in his best interest to wait as long as he can and then spike survivors. That also means some of his primed victims will die as game progresses.

 

All in all, unless it's some newbie, I don't think we'll see any arsonist's kills until it's game over.

That is a good point.  It doesn't necessarily benefit him to take people out quick, as he can just keep priming people and then ignite loads of people all at once.  SLMK mentioned a restriction on it, so it very well could be he can only ignite only a time or two times the whole game (best for him to wait to hit as many as he can at once)...or could be restriction on how many people he can ignite at once.  That would be my two guesses what restriction could be placed.  

 

I do think we need to spark some dialogue though....it's been fairly quiet this day so far (I'm not saying I'm any better as obviously I'm not by post count), but I don't think we should be throwing this day away.  We as town should at least be looking to find the likes of vampires/werewolves/arsonist.  Staying quiet is not going to get us anywhere....I get we have competing scum factions and VH on the hunt at night, but we shouldn't leave it solely on our enemies taking out our other enemies.  

Playing with 1cecream in the other mafia game, he's been posting there but this day only has 1 post and yesterday having the lowest post count of anyone.  Like to hear from you

I think the lull happened because of SLMK disappearance, now we have a active mod abiet one that knows probably as much as us.

I don't think the vampires are going to lay low but also I don't think they will over post, but in saying this I don't think the most vocal are doing great things to help, posting a post list keeps your post limit up but doesn't really add to the conversation.

Honestly I don't know what to make of this.

 

Arsonist can kill a lot of people, but I don't think that we'll see people dying right now, as AbT said.

 

9 people left, 1 vamp gone, I'd assume 1 vamp and 2 WW are in the game. Chances of getting a lynch on scum isn't exactly great, but unless if both scum teams go after town we can take a mislynch. Hopefully vH can nab that vamp, although it's a pretty small chance unless if we happen to find the vamp by "lynching" him. However, if we mislynch/lynch WW his chances go up a bit, but 1% isn't exactly a great increase.

The issue I see with that if we don't know the vampire post setup. Whether it is a percentage or total number and if the number is 20+, they'd never have to worry. Not many will post 20+ in one day. Beyond that it'd make alot to read.

MK doesn't tell us other than there's a modifier called Curse in the game. Its effects are currently unknown.

 

 


However, he said it may or may not be present, if I understand him correctly.

He left that unknown.  No one knows what it does, or who can use it.  Since I've never played a mafia setup like this, I do not have the slightest clue what it can mean or do.  Unfortunately it's a variable that we can't really plan for with the information we've been given.  There seems to be a lot of unknowns in this game...so it's hard to predict scenarios or what's the best plan.
