Canik dropping the hammer vote is incredibly suspicious, however its also possible that he voted that way since (IF he is town) his own role is quite possibly the only information available to him so between letting himself get lynched and taking a chance on someone else, its kind of an obvious choice.

 

I don't buy the "Kit Kat is doing weird shit" explanation, as has been stated before I don't think the rest of scum would go along with it if someone suggested not killing for 2 days in a row. Town probably just has some really good roles that have gotten incredibly lucky, however that also worries me that there is potentially an SK lurking not making kills like we had a couple games ago with Preston (the stronger the town roles, the stronger the opposition has to be to balance). I will say that Kit Kat's explanation of "if I were scum I'd behave differently therefore I'm not scum so leave me alone" is scummy as shit. Classic case of WIFOM, which is a tactic scum use in order to get away with various kinds of plays.

I've already defended myself to the best of my ability. The only thing I have left to do is roleclaim. I'm Madame Maxime. Lynching me, while not being as bad as killing someone with proper powers, means that you will now have lynched two townies, which is really not a good idea.

 

But come on. Seriously. Do you SERIOUSLY think I would have thrown myself into the spotlight so spectacularly if I was scum? As I said, yes, I get that doing so then means that I can make the argument that I would never have done something so incredibly dumb so therefore I couldn't possibly be scum. But given the extremely serious possibility of me being lynched, the negatives associated with playing so recklessly outweigh any slight positives big time. I don't give a toss if chaplain of death thinks that this is some kind of classic scummy tactic, it just happens to be the truth.

 

The other thing I'll say is that (as anyone who has ever had a conversation with me, or heck, has ever read five posts of mine on these forums will know) I have an incredibly playful personality in real life and stirring stuff up for kicks in this game is entirely consistent with my personality. I am more than willing to provide real life evidence (or witnesses) to this effect. I'm not in this game purely to win it, I'm here to have fun, and if I can have fun by stirring things up then I will do so. Remember that this game was going absolutely nowhere for the first God knows how many pages and nothing was happening. I felt obliged to offer my excrement-stirring services.

I don't really have a lot to go by - some posting has been lacking.

If I go with inactives, iSoc and SBG are the 2 with the least posts, with CoD and Wolfpacks next. Wolfpacks has stated he has RL issues with access going on, so he gets a pass.

I've stated previously that Rhizo's couple of posts have me concerned about his alignment. Not much more I can say.

So, unless another post comes with a RC, this is where I'm going:

I may still switch to Robert, because the more I read his posts, the more I get a bitter taste in my mouth about it. Sure, anyone can claim to have a night action without RC'ing. Its along the lines of attempting a fake RC hoping nobody will notice.

I'm going to take a calculated risk here - to those considering me for a lynch, while I will absolutely claim town and that I'm actively scum seeking, I do see how some of what I said can be suspicious. I ask you to consider letting me live 1 additional day.

 

From the above it is pretty clear that he used his first action on you (kevinh) and found you town. He also indicated he had one more action left.

 

So what do we get from the above two posts.

 

1. He investigated kevin and found him town.

2. He was not able to id any scum with his first action.

3. He made the humongous mistake of revealing he has a very powerful action and that he should be allowed to live another day to use it.

4. Who can potentially claim something like that? Doc? Tracker? Follower? Roleblocker? Nope. None has actions that are strong enough to give concrete information to town by use of only one night. It could have only been a cop who could make that claim. This reveal was a huge mistake by FB.

4. Scum picked up on that reveal and knew very well he cannot be allowed to live another night and reveal his results. He would have been targetted for kill at night, I am 100 % sure.

5. But they saw an opportunity early. They saw he already had 2 votes on him and time is running out. They decided to take out the cop when they had the chance and not take the risk of the cop being protected at night. So they decided to go for the kill immediately.

 

From above we can deduce Canik has 80% chance of being scum, Yehom has 70% chance of being scum and both Yehom Canik has a high probability of both being scum.

 

We lynch Canik today and Yehom tomoroow. I can guarantee you town will lynch at least 1 scum amongst those 2.

Can't say that wouldn't be fair, KevinH. I expected I'd be lynched after he turned up Cop. Not sure what I can say in my defense, except that if I were scum I'd know he was town and it would be pretty stupid of me to put a final vote on someone I'd know would turn up town.

It's going to make me look suspicious because it'll look like I'm just lynching someone else to avoid being lynched, but I do think Canik seems pretty scummy. I hadn't quite had the lengthy reasoning set out in Imran's post, but I had thought of bits of it.

Expressing suspicion in someone beyond the obvious top suspect makes me scum? He put himself in the spotlight and I addressed my feelings on the matter. The only reason I refrained from placing a vote is because we have plenty of time, but I see now that it takes 6 to lynch anyway (3 at deadline). I keep forgetting how many people are still alive since so many of them post so little (I'm also somewhat guilty of this, my work schedule has been fluctuating terribly =\) 

 

Given the amount of time left and with 4 votes already on Canik and no other wagon present I don't believe placing my vote on him is in the best interest of the town. Would just open the door to ending the day early. Barring the appearance of a better candidate I will most likely vote for Canik (so long as I remember to place it sunday).

Regarding FB talking from the grave, I thank Imran for highlighting as he did because I'd say Kev is as close to being confirmed town as is possible without him actually cleared in public by our adorable, but dead Finster.

We have until Monday to vote and I would like to hear from Rhiz and yehom. Although is seems likely that either or both Kk and Canik are scum, there is a real chance that Rhiz and Yehom are part of the Death Eater squad and they are awefully quiet, except for one post from Yehom.

Hmmm, talk about a though break man. Finster played that really bad on his part, unless he had checked SGB which would explain his sudden jump on SGB. To me that is the only logical explanation as to why he would flipflop that hard on SGB, there is no other reason for him to even come close to a spotlight. 
 
Also Canik's last minute vote to ensure the lynch is very suspect. His 'so-called' defense above doesn't help either

Seems to me that blaming the victim (could be defensive and attempt to reduce his believability when we examine his posts), and then saying FB probably knew SBG is scum when he defended Kev pretty definitively, could be very scummy behavior. KK and Canik still top my list of suspects, but I'm still firmly fingering everyone who lynch officer FB.

Best guesses a role blocker got lucky the first night and is continuing the action on the same person, who is prolly a godfather, in which case they'll prolly switch to a strongman tonight. Or we have a superbly lucky doctor. Or a combination of the one of first two and/or there was a commuter in there somewhere and the scum have been very unlucky.

Imran's post makes a lot of sense as Kevin's behavior on D1 would warrant a cop to check Kevin. Finster also didn't pursue Kevin any further after N1 ended so it's safe to say that Kevin has been checked by Finster and has been cleared as a townie. I'm betting that SGB was Finster's 2nd check and turned out to be scum, hence his very sudden jump on him after he said that he was fine with SGB being busy and thus inactive

 

As far as my own innocence I was maybe too fast with dismissing Canik as being least likely scum between himself and Finster. Finster's sudden jump just threw me off and Canik made very quick work to punish that

So far with the posts brought forth, I'm pretty positive FB investigated Kevin and found him town.
Imran pointed this out and major town points for that.

My short list is currently Canik, KitKat, and a toss up between Yehom and CoD.

Sorry guys, been away for a bit, had 4 wisdom teeth pulled so been taking it easy.  I'm leaning toward Canik for being the hammer vote though that is not a for sure scum tell to me.  I mean, Canik would know being the hammer if he was scum would put a target on him, so would he risk it?  With scum not getting a lynch D1 nor a kill N1, I would think they would want to make sure a lynch happens D2 since the longer it goes without a kill, the more opportunities PR's have to use their roles.  Canik hasn't been real keen on defending himself too well today either

 

 

If you're looking for scum, look for people who bandwagoned on Finster. Scum don't generally have the balls to actually be the person to nominate someone to lynch. They also knew that I'd been pretty erratic in my posts in this thread and probably wanted me to take the fallout. So in other words look at Rhizo, Yehom and Canik. Especially the latter given he voted at the last minute to kill Finster. (Although that's not absolute solid proof of anything, admittedly.)

 

Sorry, but this post is rather odd to me.  It was early in the day and Kitkat already comes out looking to come on the defensive on trying to distance himself from being on the last lynch.  At this point, no one even suspected him, and he already is coming off trying to find an excuse on why supposedly scum wanted to use him as the "fallout."  I was on the lynch, I explained my reason.  If people want to suspect me for that, then they can, but if you fully explained your reason for voting him and feel it was a good reason to, you shouldn't need to come out early D1 on the defensive and trying to make up a reason why scum may have tried to pin it on you, when no one even had yet.

I am not sure what's going on at night.  TW is known to mix games up and different roles, so not sure if this is some weird setup for scum this game, or someone with a PR has been on point.  Never seen a day go 2 nights and not a kill.  Seems likely someone on town knows something, as I imagine a doctor/commuter/RB has done something to prevent kills at night.  Sucks that FB was a cop, I'll need to read back to see if he made any hints on who he may have investigated that he found was scum or also defended.

Educate myself?  If you want to a be a prick, that is your prerogative, but at least back it up with an actual factual statement.  I've read, and now re-read what was said after you made that remark, and I have yet to see a single person bring up what I just brought up in regards to your statement and my reason for FOS on you.  So please, enlighten me on the various posts that people have posted that talk about what I pointed out about your comment and coming so defensive.  You're the one who came out the gate trying to defend yourself before anyone even suspected you, and then RC'd when there wasn't even close to enough votes to lynch you with solely a name.  So if you want to continue to be a smartass, do so, but it gets you no where with me

I am not sure if i took your statement the way you meant it, but as I read it, it rubbed me the wrong way.  Maybe wasn't meant to, and if so, I apologize for my hasty response, but when someone tells me to "educate" myself, especially on something I've yet to see anyone bring up about your response though you state they have does not sit with me well.  As I stated, I don't see anyone bring up your quick defense of oneself and trying to distance yourself from being on the wagon while trying to shed light on others, especially when no one had even came out D2 pointing suspicion at you for being on it.  You then go ahead and RC when you weren't even close to being lynched which is quite odd as well.  No need to do so that early, and certainly isn't helpful to town if you're to come out basically stating you don't have or don't have a good PR which allows scum to look elsewhere to kill at night and hitting a more important PR. I've seen others show some suspicion towards you for your playstyle and your self-voting yourself, but again, yet to see anyone do so for what I brought up.   

 

I'm going to call out anyone's response or actions that are suspicious to me.   My FOS isn't a vote, but it means I'm looking more into your responses and actions.
