CoD and Isoc I haven't been able to get a good read on but I do have 2 things to note.

CoD did vote for Canik (though Canik was pretty set in stone at that point and it isn't uncommon to see scum vote scum.)

Isocialism had a vote on Yehom during the FB wagons. Depending if we lynch Yehom and his outcome can give us a better idea about Isocialism.

Apologies, this game has been odd with the no kills on night 1 and 2 and I've been finding myself far more busy than usual. I'll try to catch myself up a bit more. I gave my read on Roberts claim, I honestly haven't the foggiest whats going on with Yehom so I need to read up.

im sorry for my inactivity this game, i recently moved into a new home and we are having a few teething problems, i cant say ill be as active as i usually am, but i will try and be more active then i have been. because of this i havent really been able to form any opinion on anything, ill try to catch up as much as i can

As it seems the public opinion looks to be that I am scum, with people starting to vote on me and a lot more on the cusp of voting. So I'm going to role claim

Now that that's out of the way, some analysis of the people that are still left

 

iSocialism: I’m leaning heavily towards scum, partially because he was the only one that followed Robert’s wagon on me yesterday while simultaneously not even considering to vote for Canik. Also the inactivity doesn’t help his case.
Wolfpacks: I’m really 50/50 on him. Robert detected motion from his side, but he denies that he himself did anything. Either he’s lying about that or he did do nothing and somebody targeted him. At this point in time it’s hard to say.
Chaplain of Death: leaning towards scum, voted Imran D2, only voted for Canik as a last vote with no argument what so ever D3, not much has been said by him
KevinH: confirmed town by Finster, so not much to say
Kitkat16: has been really sketchy in the beginning of the game, seems to be voting for me based on Imran’s post. I don’t know whether that is a novice trying to follow the more experience player that died, or a scum move trying to paint me of as scum after killing Imran
Rhizoctonia: I’m almost 100% sure Rhizo is scum. D1 he called out Kevin for wanting an inactive, while listing some examples of Kevin's previous games where Kevin voted no lynch. He tried to set the tone right there, but his plan failed after Finster telegraphed that Kevin was checked to be town. D2 he voted for Finster when there already was a wagon going for Canik, while on D3 he only voted for Canik after it was pretty clear that he was going to get lynched. Cue D4 and the only thing that he says is a quote from Imran's post. Nothing more nothing less. It's basically a cheap way of letting Imran doing the dirty work for him. 

Robert2424: So far I'm inclined to believe that Robert is indeed the role he claims to be, however if he does somehow come up scum, SM is very surely a scum accomplice.  
SeaBeeGipson: I'm pretty sure SGB is town after reading through his vote behavior. He was both D2 and D3 pretty quick on the Canik wagon. I don't think scum would betray Canik like that from the start. I know it's a pretty big 180 on my part, but this was because I didn't look at how he played out everything before. 
Sister Midnight: not much of a read, pretty inactive, Robert detected no motion, so should speak more for town, however as soon as Robert is found out to be scum, SM should be the next to follow

 

All in all I know that people are going to second guess this post as I'm the prime suspect at this point. I'd like to point out that if I do get lynched and will indeed come out as a vanilla townie, I'd like Rhizo lynched asap as a dying wish

Everyone gathered in the Great Hall for the big feast on Halloween evening. The feast was fantastic as usual. Hermione begrudgingly ate a small dinner as she continued her S.P.E.W. protest. After supper, everyone sat around anxiously talking about the Triwizard Tournament. 

 

The Goblet of fire began to glow as bright blue flames shot out of it and danced through the air. Dumbledore rose to his feet and approached the Goblet, shielding his eyes from its bright glow. The entire hall had fallen silent and their eyes were fixed upon the cup in front of the staff table. The cup began to spit out flames more violently and a singed slip of paper flew into the air and fluttered down into Dumbledore's outstretched hand. He unfolded it and announced:

 

"The Durmstrang Champion is Viktor Krum!"

 

The Durmstrang students cheered and clapped Krum on the back as he rose from the Slytherin table and made his way forward to shake Dumbledore's hand before being ushered through a door behind the staff table.

 

A second slip of paper shot into the air with a trail of smoke and was snatched by Dumbledore.

 

"The Beauxbatons Champion is Fleur Delacour!"

 

A cautious smile spread across Fleur's face as she stood up and hugged her sister Gabrielle before stepping forward to be greeted by Dumbledore.

 

The Cup lurched a third time and another slip of paper was propelled into the air. It was the moment that the majority of them were waiting for -- the announcement of the Hogwarts Champion.

 

"The Hogwarts Champion is Cedric Diggory!"

 

The Hufflepuff table erupted in cheers as their classmate rose and received an ovation from the rest of the Hogwarts student body. Diggory shook Dumbledore's hand and made his way out of the hall through the same door that the other two Champions had passed through. Dumbledore grinned at the rest of the hall as he turned back toward them.

 

"We now have our three Champions! It is your duty to support them throughout the rigors of the tournament as they face.."

 

The Goblet of Fire erupted a fourth time. Flames were shooting out of it like small comets. Dumbledore turned back toward it and a fourth slip of paper floated through the air. Dumbledore caught it and unfolded it as he muttered something under his breath that was inaudible to everyone else.

 

"HARRY POTTER!" he shouted turning toward the Gryffindor table.

 

The Great Hall had once again fallen completely silent. Harry wasn't sure what to do. Hermione nudge him forward and he stood up and walked toward Professor Dumbledore. Dumbledore had a stern look on his face. He pointed him toward the door and instructed him to follow the other three champions. Harry passed through the door and down a small corridor that opened into a room where the other three champions were sitting.

 

A moment later the door burst open behind him and the five tournament judges rushed in. Ludo Bagman had a wide smile on his face. He was pleased that Harry would be in the tournament. Madame Maxime and Igor Karkaroff were not as thrilled however. They accused Dumbledore of messing up the Age Line and said that Hogwarts was trying to cheat its way into having a second Champion. Harry swore that he did not put his name into the cup.

 

"Of course he is lying," Madame Maxime said. "He must not be allowed to compete!"

 

"The magic required to trick the Goblet would be way beyond that of a 4th year," Mad-Eye Moody growled as he entered the chamber.

 

Barty Crouch spoke up: "We must follow the rules, and they clearly state that those people whose names come out of the Goblet of Fire are bound to compete in the tournament. As of tonight, Mr. Potter is a Triwizard Champion."

 

Mr. Crouch informed the Champions that their first task would be a surprise one that would test their courage. He gave them other instructions and excused them all for the night. Harry quickly made his way back to Gryffindor Tower. He as afraid that no one would believe him that he didn't put his name in the Goblet of Fire. He was right.

 

As the Portrait of the Fat Lady swung open and Harry stepped into the Common Room, he was greeted by cheers and all of the other Gryffindors asking how he managed to fool the Goblet. Harry just wanted to find Ron and Hermione to provide him with a bit of sanity. He didn't find it with Ron though. Ron accused him of putting his name in the cup and excluding Ron from his plan. Harry felt betrayed and tried to explain that he didn't do it, but Ron didn't want to hear it. He stormed up to the dormitory and ignored Harry for the rest of the night.

 

Harry found Hermione the next morning who thankfully believed him. But she was worried about how Harry's name had been put into the Goblet of Fire. Hermione suggested writing to Sirius to tell him what was happening which he did. Harry's life at Hogwarts was worse than just receiving the cold shoulder from Ron. The Hufflepuffs were all mad as well because they believed Harry was trying to steal the spotlight from Cedric. Even the Ravenclaws believed that Harry was desperate to earn himself some more fame by tricking the Goblet of Fire. The Slytherins were all wearing badges that would flash the message "SUPPORT CEDRIC DIGGORY - THE REAL Hogwarts Champion" in gold bright gold lettering which would fade to green letters that read "POTTER STINKS!"

 

Harry was disturbed during Monday's Potions lesson by Colin Creevey who had been sent to bring him to Ludo Bagman. Bagman was sitting next to a witch in magenta robes who he introduced as Rita Skeeter. She was going to interview the Champions to write her article for the Daily Prophet on the tournament. Skeeter asks Harry all sorts of personal questions about his past trauma and about how he entered the tournament. As Harry answered her questions her magical quill raced across her parchment independently scribbling things other than what Harry was saying.

 

After the interviews was the weighing of the wands. Mr. Ollivander had come from London to test the four Champions wands and ensure that they were in good working condition. Finally, the Champions posed for a few photographs before Harry hurried back to his dormitory. Hedwig had delivered a response from Sirius while Harry was away. Sirius wanted to arrange a meeting on the night of November 22nd. He planned to come see Harry through the fireplace in the Gryffindor Common Room.

 

Things had gotten worse for Harry since Rita Skeeter's piece ran in the Daily Prophet. Nearly the entire article turned into a puff piece about Harry while barely mentioning the other Triwizard Champions. Fleur Delacour wasn't even mentioned in the piece at all as if she wasn't even a part of the tournament. The article was full of shit that Harry did not even say. Skeeter even invented a rumor that Harry had found love at Hogwarts -- with Hermione.

The next several days were rough as Harry and Ron were still not speaking to one another. Hermione kept pushing Harry to make the first move to patch things up but he refused.

 

The Saturday before the first task of the Triwizard Tournament was a Hogsmeade weekend. Harry wasn't really interested in going but finally agreed to join Hermione under his Invisibility Cloak. When they arrived in Hogsmeade Harry was relieved with his decision to wear the cloak since Rita Skeeter was up ahead snooping around. Hermione and Harry walked into the Three Broomsticks and sat down in a corner booth with a couple Butterbeers. The door to the pub opened a minute later and Hagrid walked in followed by Mad-Eye Moody. As they walked up to Harry and Hermione's table, Moody greeted Harry quietly. His magical eye had detected Harry's presence even though he was under the Invisibility Cloak. Hagrid leaned over the table and whispered to Harry to come down to his cabin at midnight tonight so that he could show him something.

 

Later that evening, Harry threw the Invisibility Cloak back over himself and made his way through the castle as silently as possible. He slipped through the large oak front doors and across the grounds towards Hagrid's Hut. Hagrid greeted him at the door when Harry knocked and he led him to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. As they approached the treeline, a woman's voice spoke: "Hagrid? Is that you?" Madame Maxime stood just inside the trees waiting for him. He led her and an invisible Harry a short way into the forest. After a quick two minute walk, a bright orange light illuminated the trees ahead. There was something in the small clearing. Madame Maxime gasped as they approached the clearing. "C'est Magnifique!" she exclaimed silently.

 

There were four fully grown, enormous, vicious looking dragons rearing on their hind legs and snorting fire in the clearing. They were being controlled by several dragon keepers. Harry immediately recognized Charlie Weasley as one of the keepers. They all stood silently watching the dragons for a minute. A slight sense of fright fell over Harry as he turned to head back to the castle. He now understood what the he would have to do for the first task. Harry hurried back to the Gryffindor Common Room to meet with Sirius.

 

 

Hagrid (KevinH) a normal Staff Member has shared confidential information with Harry on night 4.

I wrote out a lengthy post where I did a comprehensive survey of the posts in this thread from page 10 onwards and wrote up my top suspects for mafia. It got deleted and I don't have a copy of it But after Yehom, I said Rhizo was the most suspicious, and that's also in accordance with Yehom's stated wishes.

Well that sucks.  I get it though, as Kevin seems to be the only one who seemed to not be infatuated with both Yehom and I and a Veteran player.  Also a town that wasn't trying to lose the game for us and was confirmed town.  At this point I'm going to RC, as both Yehom was trying to lose it by suggesting to lynch me today after he dies, and Kitkat continually doing the same.  At this point I think it's the only chance because town are continuing to do all the work for scum.   And before a misguided town start a lynch on me and scum jump quick to finish it.  

 

I am Ron Weasley, and odd night jack of all trades.  I have the abilities of Cop, Role Blocker, and Vigilante.

 

I used my cop role N1 on Kevin.  I got normal student/staff.  Thus my reason for  stopping to persue him once D2 started and started to look elsewhere.  It seems me and FB both wasted our roles on him.

N3 I didn't use a role, I was away on vacation when the day ended and didn't send a power before the next day started.  Usually TW sends a reminder, nonetheless it's not his responsibility, and it wouldn't of mattered because at that time I likely would of RB Yehom as he was most suspicious until he RC'd the next day.

It's very unlikely I will live til N5 to use it, so in all reality, I have one more night of action.  Even if scum kill me tonight, my action will still go through, unless it's blocked by a power of theirs, so we have 2 chances to find a scum, lynching one today and my night kill.  At this point, I may say who i am going to kill tonight at the end of the day, so in case it is blocked, at least you know who I was targeting for next day.

I'm feeling bad for sucking at this game so much. I might leave things to more experienced players from now on! It's different from in person play.

Kevin went a bit inactive after things went down yesterday, but I may of painted a bigger target on his back after my role claim. But we now know most likely finster investigated kev (unless somebody else wants to say the visited him N1). It however is anything I would call unexpected that they went for Kev. He was pretty much confirmed town, meaning mafia were unlikely going to try to lynch him in the day phase. 

 

Now for my night results. I probed kit kat and I detected no motion. Meaning his RC of a VT/regular student staff member has some weight to me now.

 

Now we have a role claim from Rhizo of a Town JOAT. I can see this, but JOAT's are, well, odd roles that always make me wonder. However, considering the theme of roles thus far, I'm the only one out. If we take a look here, if we are going to believe everything thats been claimed this far, we have 2 JOAT's (Rhizo claims town, Canik was a mafia JOAT. my motion detector(Town), and another VT/regular student staff member. We hade a 2 shot cop (Finster). We hade a 2 shot Doc (Imran). and we hade 2 VT/regular student staff.

There is 8 players left. We could be looking a 2 more scum, both Goons or 1 with an unknown power, but I'm not sure what they could possibly be. With just one shots and a JOAT on the enemy team, I'm leaning 2 goons. 

 

Now Wolfpacks has given us nothing. not even speculation, just a comment on my role. I understand he's busy but we are looking at 2 scenario's here. 1 he has a Night action or 2 he was visited N3. If he claims he didn't submit a night action, (witch I'm assuming he claiming, he would of have to been visited by somebody (Most likely town if he did, but Nobody has spoken up that they visited him). At that same time, unless that person no longer has night actions, meaning another 2 shot or 1 shot, its debatable both ways weather that person should RC.

That's fine.  I hadn't caught anything from Sea that proved without any doubt he was town.  I'm not necessarily saying he's scum, just for me, he hasn't been taken off my possible list.  Could of missed something.

Also don't feel bad, I know yesterday I was getting a bit irritated, mainly because the active people were staying stuck on Yehom and I, and no matter what I said or could do it was staying that way.  I was trying to help Yehom out and try to look to lynch elsewhere but me saying I believed his RC only made him suspect me more.  It becomes a bit frustrating when you see who I believe are fellow town arguing with one another, and thus the day is spent wasted on town trying to get other town lynched.  At the end of the day, play your game, and learn from mistakes/get more experience.  I for one sucked ass the first few games I played, getting lynched early on twice.  Sorry if I've been a bit blunt to you and Yehom, just was frustrated, but certainly don't want to see you not enjoy the game and/or not want to play anymore/again.  And like I said, play your game.  You can't always leave it up to the more veterans either, they just as well could be scum.  At end of the day, enjoy and learn, and go with how you feel.

I still think my top choice right now is WP.  Robert got movement with his motion senor role off him.  At this point, no one has came forward to say they used a role on him that would set it off.  I already mentioned this, but even if WP is inactive and not on to say if he wants to use his action or not, the rest of scum can still submit a night action for him.  The other scum could of just told TW to use WP's action on someone.  He's also inactive, and hasn't given us much to go on.  He's my choice atm.

Sea - I gave him credit for being on Canik early the one day he wasn't lynched, but he also wasn't on the lynch I don't believe when Canik was actually lynched.

CoD - Been pretty inactive, he was on Canik's lynch, and was the hammer vote, but at the time, Canik was a done deal anyway so it wouldn't hurt scum to be apart of the lynch.  

 

SM, Isocialism - Both voted Yehom after he roleclaimed.  This, even after he quoted his direct PM from TW that was illegal to do, and a pretty obvious he was telling the truth.  Sure, it could of been faked, but no one has tried that, and most know it's not allowed to do what he did, so scum wouldn't of done it.  They didn't even hesitate.  SM got no movement from Robert, but I doubt if scum has a ninja and say SM is it, that he would get a result anyway, so there is still that possibility.  And SM's vote, at the time, was the 3rd vote needed for Yehom to by lynched at deadline, though didnt't matter after TW removed him.  Isocialism has been very quiet, how he gets when hes scum usually until he suddenly becomes active at the end.

At this point, pretty much confirmed town are Robert, Kitkat, and myself.  I plan on going back through and looking at votes in the past and see if i can pick up on anything.  Not out of it, especially if we hit today on the lynch or me tonight.  Be nice if we hit on both and likely end the game.  

 

I still am wondering if TW doesn't have some interesting setup, like having an extra scum, but not allowing scum a night kill until N2 or N3.  Not sure if Imran was just successful both times on his doctor role or something else is up.  Never heard of such a setup, but just never saw a game where 2 nights past and no one is killed and know TW mixes things up every game.  Seems this game he has limited roles to a certain amount of times, and used odd/even night's as parameters.

So i just want to get this straight. Rhizos role claim uses only public knowledge, and claims that he "forgot" to use an action on night 3.... seems a bit odd considering.

Im always suspicious of role claims that provide no new information.

Well that sucks.  I get it though, as Kevin seems to be the only one who seemed to not be infatuated with both Yehom and I and a Veteran player.  Also a town that wasn't trying to lose the game for us and was confirmed town.  At this point I'm going to RC, as both Yehom was trying to lose it by suggesting to lynch me today after he dies, and Kitkat continually doing the same.  At this point I think it's the only chance because town are continuing to do all the work for scum.   And before a misguided town start a lynch on me and scum jump quick to finish it.  

 

I am Ron Weasley, and odd night jack of all trades.  I have the abilities of Cop, Role Blocker, and Vigilante.

 

I used my cop role N1 on Kevin.  I got normal student/staff.  Thus my reason for  stopping to persue him once D2 started and started to look elsewhere.  It seems me and FB both wasted our roles on him.

N3 I didn't use a role, I was away on vacation when the day ended and didn't send a power before the next day started.  Usually TW sends a reminder, nonetheless it's not his responsibility, and it wouldn't of mattered because at that time I likely would of RB Yehom as he was most suspicious until he RC'd the next day.

It's very unlikely I will live til N5 to use it, so in all reality, I have one more night of action.  Even if scum kill me tonight, my action will still go through, unless it's blocked by a power of theirs, so we have 2 chances to find a scum, lynching one today and my night kill.  At this point, I may say who i am going to kill tonight at the end of the day, so in case it is blocked, at least you know who I was targeting for next day.

So those are the 5 I will be focusing on.  I know Kitkat mentioned at one time that supposedly sea is all but proven town, so if I missed how this is so sure, direct to me where that's so well known so I can see and maybe the list will be down to 4.

I'm feeling bad for sucking at this game so much. I might leave things to more experienced players from now on! It's different from in person play.

 

 

 

 

That's fine.  I hadn't caught anything from Sea that proved without any doubt he was town.  I'm not necessarily saying he's scum, just for me, he hasn't been taken off my possible list.  Could of missed something.

Also don't feel bad, I know yesterday I was getting a bit irritated, mainly because the active people were staying stuck on Yehom and I, and no matter what I said or could do it was staying that way.  I was trying to help Yehom out and try to look to lynch elsewhere but me saying I believed his RC only made him suspect me more.  It becomes a bit frustrating when you see who I believe are fellow town arguing with one another, and thus the day is spent wasted on town trying to get other town lynched.  At the end of the day, play your game, and learn from mistakes/get more experience.  I for one sucked ass the first few games I played, getting lynched early on twice.  Sorry if I've been a bit blunt to you and Yehom, just was frustrated, but certainly don't want to see you not enjoy the game and/or not want to play anymore/again.  And like I said, play your game.  You can't always leave it up to the more veterans either, they just as well could be scum.  At end of the day, enjoy and learn, and go with how you feel.

I still think my top choice right now is WP.  Robert got movement with his motion senor role off him.  At this point, no one has came forward to say they used a role on him that would set it off.  I already mentioned this, but even if WP is inactive and not on to say if he wants to use his action or not, the rest of scum can still submit a night action for him.  The other scum could of just told TW to use WP's action on someone.  He's also inactive, and hasn't given us much to go on.  He's my choice atm.
 

 

Smile. I'm tough enough not to get upset or anything by your post, and I've still enjoyed my game. I'm not planning on quitting online mafia altogether. It's just that in real life, not to show off or anything but I'm generally the best player in the room (at least when I'm a townie. I'm not so good as a mafia.) But although I'm not like, emotionally crushed by sucking at my first game of online mafia the kind words do give me warm fuzzies.

no. The night I probed him we had a night kill happen. He couldn't of been targeted for the kill cause somebody else was killed.
