I did not seal the deal on Robert. My vote came 4 minutes after the 11:00 deadline and did not count. The final vote ended 3-2. Even if one other person did vote for EM it wouldn't have mattered unless someone else also unvoted for Robert before the deadline. In the event of a tied vote with two people receiving half of the majority vote, the person who received that number of votes first (in this case Robert) would be lynched. Robert's lynch was inevitable at the time my vote was made public so arguing that I "sealed the deal" or that the vote could have otherwise changed after I voted is a red herring.

I will admit that the vote for Robert was a mistake. That said, we didn't have a whole lot to go on and I flipped a coin. Sometimes yow win, sometimes you lose.

Yes, I was the first to bring up the LS vote on KK and run with it after LS was lynched and shown to be the cop. RC's on day 2 are stupid, even with the few number of players we have. If LS latched on to you as his vote and didn't relent, it looks poorly upon your bona fides as a townie. This is the basis of my continued pursuit of you KK.

Now, I won't discount the fact that TW is alive on Day 3. Clearly he's not alive due to any interference by a town role, which lessens his town cred to me. He has been active with me in pursuing KK, however, that absolutely could be a smokescreen to help him out. I'm not ready to make the leap that TW is scum just yet, but it can't be discarded either. And yes, I'd have reacted the same way in saying this line of thinking is BS, but the town can't just ignore it either.

iSoc leans town for me right now. EM is a tougher read.

So right now I'm fairly convinced KK is scum. Unless he (or someone else) convincingly proves he's town otherwise (RC, etc) then my vote sticks.

I accept that. I'm simply pointing out that TW was the final vote on Robert (meaning he clearly saw value in doing so) and then when I called him out on this and said that he was the hammer he turned round and said that it was posted after the deadline and made no difference.

Because Kevin hadn't closed the game thread yet when I started writing my post and I wanted to put a vote on record. I have nothing to hide.

Why does being alive on day 3 automatically cast suspicion at me? Once again, how is that fair to me as a player? If I'm either going to be killed on day 1 in every game or assumed to be scum if I'm not, then there is absolutely zero reason for me to play the game.

 

Have you considered that I'm alive on day 3 for one of the following reasons (or even all of the following reasons) instead?:

- The scum team believes that by letting me live it will make me look suspicious automatically. Clearly this one is working since you are bringing it up now.

- It is still possible that the game setup is the Town Cop + Town Doctor + Scum Roleblocker setup. If the scum team has a Roleblocker, they would have known from the very beginning that the town has a Cop and Doctor. If this is indeed the case one of several things may be happening:

1) The scum team doesn't believe that I have one of the town power roles since I am the most active poster in the game and that would be unlikely so they have instead been hunting for the town power roles by eliminating other potentially powerful townies (Lyner is an experienced player, was quiet and could have had a power role, and commented early on that he had won this setup before. LordSunday was actively scum hunting and could have been on to something.). This of course also achieves the goal of making me look "suspicious" just because I am alive.

2) The scum team thinks that the Town Doctor might see me as the most active townie and be using his protection on me each night. Instead of risking having a kill blocked the scum team has opted to target other townies that are more likely to be unprotected for easy kills.

That's because my vote *didn't* make a difference. I had no idea that Kevin wouldn't count my vote that was posted 4 minutes after the stated deadline. The game thread was still open when I posted. As mentioned above, I could have just as easily let the day end and not have said a word. I voted because I have nothing to hide.

TW you bring up fair points, which is why I won't say you're scum. In fact, I do still lean town for you, based on the whole body of work. All I'm saying here is I can't 100% peg you as town (not that anyone can be 100% pegged as town) and I'm pointing out what I see.

Unless something concrete is shown you're scum, then I give you the benefit of the doubt.

You have done absolutely nothing for the town in this entire game. You have casually hung back and thrown shade in my direction and have refused to consider anything else. That is not how a townie trying to win the game should operate. Not only have you refused to actually scum hunt but now you are legitimately trying to get a townie lynched and lose the game for the town. You are either a completely misguided townie or you realize that if/when Kitkat is lynched and comes back as scum that you are next and the town wins. I think you see this as your only chance to win the game.

 

I may be focusing on Kitkat primarily but at least that focus is the result of behavior that was actually suspect and not strictly based on the fact that he's alive on day 3. I have questioned and pressed other people in this game for their thoughts and opinions while you have defended the person whose actions were suspect and have focused only on me. Even though my vote didn't end up counting on day 2, at least I made a point to publicly cast a vote with a reasoning for it while you failed to vote.

 

I have remained active throughout the entirety of the game and have often asked for the input of people who have been quiet. Scum doesn't do that. They want as few posts as possible. The less discussion there is, the easier it is to skate by unnoticed.

 

You are also conveniently avoiding the fact that LordSunday was the cop and remained focused on KitKat when two other wagons were forming (your own and Robert's). LordSunday was just as suspicious of captainjf on day 1 as I was. The chances that LordSunday did not investigate captainjf on night 1 are low. The fact that he stayed focused on KitKat (captainjf) on day 2 is more than noteworthy. Yet, both you and KitKat have conveniently avoided that topic entirely today. I'd ask you why that is but I already know the answer.

 

I wasn't sure whether you or Rafay was the second scum, but I am now firmly looking at you tomorrow after KitKat turns out scum today. You have written off or completely avoided every important detail for the town to consider throughout this game while I have been here openly discussing those things and trying to engage everyone in conversation.

 

If you are town, I sincerely suggest that you examine the game one more time and ask yourself if I would have truly acted as I have if I were scum.
