Does anybody else have anything else than voting purely on activity? I don't know how serious people are on lynching CoD purely on activity, but it doesn't seem to get the effect people want it to have

Same here. At this point, I would assume scum have or will have more posts than the least active person if that becomes lynch criteria.

Frankly I have no clue how to move forward. I'm having a lot of trouble distinguishing my gut feelings in this game from my gut feelings in the game that shall not be mentioned. Very frustrating.
Addendum: if I were to go by post count alone, I'd look at who is right in the middle trying to blend in as much as who is at the bottom.

Having said that, highly inactive people are good lynch targets even solely for that reason. I'm not sure I'm quite sold on CoD, so reserving my vote.

There are instances of both, so not sure there's really any certainty in it.  Just as likely to be an inactive town as there is just an inactive scum.  But inactive town, in general, is not something good if they're not going to participate in trying to help town.  

 

I'm not at this point going to vote CoD just because he's the most inactive person.   I'd put pressure on them by voting, but at the moment he already has that and it will likely increase if it continues.  The only thing that worries me a bit about CoD's recent post was not any real sense he plans on actively participating, just merely vote me if you want due to post counts.

 

Let's be honest at this point as well, there's 5 people 2 posts apart....it's not like the likes of many, including myself, can really sit here and vote merely on post numbers.  

 

SLMK seems to now 2 posts in a row bring up he has more posts then anyone, and only one above mod amount of posts.  Just because you talk a lot, and post rather nothing of substance 80% of the time doesn't somehow make you any less scummy.  The fact you continue to look to highlight yourself, like "Hey look at me, i can't be scum because i post a lot," is doing nothing to help your case with me.  The only saving grace I have for you atm is every game I've played you have done the same and been highly suspected because of the this, and was found to be town...but this doesn't get you off the hook.

People seems to complain about not knowing anything....obviously this was going to be the case.  Again, why running through D1 quickly does nothing to help this problem as at least if someone looks to put pressure or look at people's post D1, we have a starting off point.  This is how every D2 is for the past few games....D2 is wasted by what should of happened D1, and activity and something happening doesn't happen to the last day or 2 of D2.  

 

Also, since no one has brought it up, and I didn't care to because I knew saying it would only speed up the NL vote D1, but we started with a even number players again.  It was discussed and brought up in past games, with even numbers we get a "free" NL as how the numbers usually break down of Town and Scum we have the same amount of mislynches allowed if we NL D1 or not.

I highly doubt that even if we played out a full D1 we'd have anything more to work with. My comment was more towards people not bringing anything new to the table except the lynch the inactive. Not even a subtle jab to people. And again I have to agree with Rhizo's statement regarding SLMK. A lot of screaming that he post so much, while the majority of his comment are there for shits and giggles if not less. Probably half of comments consist of him bragging about his post count.

Pile up some votes and we will get "something" to work on. Assuming we have 5 scums in play, we have 33% chance to hit a scum. If we hit a scum, they'll try to defend him and make some noise. If we hit a town, scums will try to push for the kill since it's way better than a no lynch day. Either way the game'll be more fun and exciting

 

 

Orr we might as well end today with a no lynch if you're expecting some PRs to reveal their findings, pick your choice.

Ending with a NL on D2 seems like a bad move here. As Lyner very accurately stated, regardless of WHO we lynch we will learn based on people's behavior towards that lynch.

 

Right now, CoD and SLMK are the two I'm watching most. As has been clearly stated and made aware to the playerbase, MK provides little substance but a lot of reading. It seems scummy, but also people are mentioning he does this every game, so I'm hesitant to vote him just yet.

 

If CoD doesn't start posting, I fear he'll be on the chopping block, though I don't completely agree with the entire "lynch whoever's inactive" policy. I understand the concept, but in reality we should try to lynch the most scummy person at the time whether by the content of their posting or by findings of others. After they're lynched and their role revealed, we learn quite a bit more about who the scums could be.

Unvote. We have an extended weekend + one day and a half to decide on a lynch target or a NL (this I'd rather not do. It just gives scum another free ride for a day).

SLMK does make some weird posts, which he does in a large amount of games.

He's very defensive over any vote, constantly sells himself, and regardless of this game itself; he always sits on the top end of the post count. Whether town or scum, he always ends up on the chopping block because of this.

I want to prob some more activity (mainly get CoD to make some actual assessments; not this "we have nothing") we have nothing if everything thinks we dont. If you find something, bring it up. Form discussion. If you can't find something, it's time to start pushing people to see what they do.

I Isocialism has been dangerous quiet as well. Not a good way to find scum by silently sitting in the back.

But besides from activity, the one many are agreeing is giving weird vibes (despite doing it almost every game) is SLMK.

No SBG may or may not be a cop, or scum, or vanilla, etc. We do know he's the self-appointed cattle prod. Is that scummy? Is that being a helpful town leader? I dunno. Any opinions?

A cop who found nothing on N1 is not going to have much to add to the conversation, so that's possibly moot. He/she may prefer a low profile to avoid being a scum target.

COD is a very experienced, skilled player. I hope he gets more active.
