The "free" no-lynch based on odd or even number of townies is bad strategy.

There could be protections or extra kills and that invalidates everything.

If the setup is confirmed to not have doctors or vigilantes or the like, then maybe I'd consider that line of reasoning.

I'll have to look into this....just because your a neighbor doesn't mean a scum couldn't have same role to make other neighbors think they are not scum. It would make sense if there was a scum neighbor since people would know a few town off the bat. But I'll have to take a look at role on wiki, not familiar with it besides a glance last game.

The idea of a neighbor being in game wouldn't surprise me however, just bet there is a scum between SLMK, FS and WP

First things first, role claim 1-shot Bulletproof to me sounds like a weak role claim, because it's an easy role to fake, but it could be plausible so I'm still debating whether or not to believe it. Second of all, amongst those 3 neighbors FS, SLMK and WP, I'm pretty sure there is a mafia member between those 3. If anything I think it's better to lynch FS. His defense sounds to me like he knew that SLMK was a townie so defending him, in combination with the neighbor factor, makes him look like a townie. Because SLMK role claimed after FS statement, he couldn't have known how that would play out. However FS probably did know that his comment would put a spotlight on both himself and SLMK.

In order to exercise the role, he must have some idea what it is and what it does, so I doubt it. But there's an easy way to find out. FS, can you confirm that you are indeed neighbours as MK claims, and can you say whether and to what extent that influenced your defence of him?

I'll have to look into this....just because your a neighbor doesn't mean a scum couldn't have same role to make other neighbors think they are not scum. It would make sense if there was a scum neighbor since people would know a few town off the bat. But I'll have to take a look at role on wiki, not familiar with it besides a glance last game.

I'm still confused at what neighbors are and how scum and town can be neighbors. This just sounds too weird.

How are we sure that they aren't all scum and acting as neighbors as a RC because it's even a role I've never seen actually played before.
If this is true, we may have 3 out of 4/5 scums right here. It would explain FS defense of SLMK.
I'm not sure how to proceed with this. I'm still trying to comprehend how the neighbor role works.

I can't find the post identifying neighbors in this game, but am I correct in thinking Wolfy, MK, and FS have role claimed as neighbors? And MK is bullet proof?

According to the above, 1 of those three is prolly scum.

FOS on all three. Of the three, MK's weak role claim makes me not want to vote for him on this day, but he's very suspicious looking ATM. And, honestly, his posts make him look scummy. On a related note, it is odd when that he demanded a vote count, posted the vote count, then complained about being "forced to do it" by "you guys." If someone volunteers to do something like a vote count, etc. in a game like this, they shouldn't whine about it and act victimized. That looks manipulative and scummy. MK, I hope you know what you are doing with your RC!

That leaves WP and FS as likely to receive my lynch vote. MK thinks we all trust WP. Why do you think that, MK? Have I missed something? (Outside mafia I'd trust Wolfy in every way, but in game is another story.)

I'm giving you a bit of townie points since you're insisting that neighbours are townie faction (also I rest my case, KitKat ). Also we never said anything about "all" neighbors, we're saying that being neighbors don't guarantee a "confirmed townie" status. This is literally the first two sentences of the role description:
 

Neighbors are players that can speak to each other. Unlike Masons, there is no guarantee made of any Neighbor's alignment. It is up to the moderator's discretion whether they can only speak at night, or at anytime.

In addition, Neighbors have been known to possess other power roles, or even have powers that belong to the group as a whole.

 

So yeah, no. If all three neighbors are confirmed townies then scums will have very little chance to win the game.

 

 

 

I want to hear more from FS and Wolfpack

With this information, I would tend to agree with SM that 1 of these 3 is most likely scum. FS, WP, and MK all have my suspicions.

 

FS has defended MK twice now, but that would most likely be because seeing him as a neighbor made him think he was on his side. With that in mind, I'm not as keen to put heavy suspicion on FS as I would like to on MK and WP.

 

Regardless, I would like to hear more from WP and FS, and see if either of them could legitimize this claim of being neighbors (let's keep in mind neither have said a word about it).
