Going to be a bit different not having a clean slate for day 1 like most mafia games. Just doing a quick skim, a few things stick out to me, which may or may not be of significance.

 

King Cankles / Rafay - Only had one post during day 0 which was a vote for roles with practically nothing else to add. While we were only voting for which roles would be in the game and not necessarily going for mafia, would have been nice to get more of their thoughts for the setup.

 

Other thing to note, everyone voted for cop. Everyone did not vote for tracker. At the very least, I wouldn't be surprised to see one mafia person vote for tracker, but would both of them is the main question. Some anomalies:

 

Rafay - Only voted for a cop. No second role.

Lachiton - Voted for a doctor. Reasonable vote for someone who claims to have zero experience as it can typically be a strong power role.

Kitkat / Lord MK - Voted for a Roleblocker. This is the most interesting of the second votes as it's different than the rest of the players and no easy way to explain why.

 

Not saying this makes anyone suspicious as of right now as I just did a quick skim for vote and post count, but not actual post content. Just thought it was something of interest to note in the early game.

Well in KC's defense he has not really been that active at all on the forums as of late so I doubt his lack of posting is anything more than that.

I would tend to agree with you that at least one person who didn't vote for the tracker might end up being mafia. Perhaps someone who voted on cop later in the states after it was for sure gonna be selected would also be scum since it's a powerful role, and voting for it late, after it already had enough votes to make it selected would be safe since there wouldn't be the risk of you accidentally giving the townies a strong role and hurting the mafia by being the deciding vote.

With that being said I do find roleblocker as an interesting vote and both MK and KitKat voted on the cop role after it had enough votes to be selected anyways

Honestly not seeing how having a different preference as to the assigned roles means I'm any more likely to be a scum. It's not like roleblocker was a terrible choice.

TBF it is the first day of scum hunting and town has nothing else to base their suspicions on, except each player's vote for town roles. I got heat for my choice of Doctor too. Roleblocker is a powerful role, and more of an active one than Doctor, but again suffers the same fate if Strongman is the mafia choice. So unless Strongman is killed off, roleblocker will be useless too. So there are some questions on your choice, especially MK, who actually voted first for role blocker and only voted cop after it was already the most popular choice.

 

Rafay and KC didn't post any thoughts regarding their choice, so I will wait till I hear their side of the story.

Roleblocker and Doctor aren't bad choices, you guys are correct in that matter. I wouldn't necessarily say it's condemning in the slightest, but as Lachiton says, at the moment it's all we have to work with although the game is still very young.

In that sense, I do wish the votes were a bit closer as provided they're votes wouldn't count, it could have been a giveaway. That last sentence is a good point, and another reason you guys shouldn't suspect me (especially given that my vote was quite late on in voting.)

Yeah honestly right now you can argue it either way. Either they blended in or they voted elsewhere. But right now there is legit no way really to tell anything other than random guesses, so any sort of lynch vote would be a total crapshoot and most likely just get a townie killed off for no reason

So i explained why i voted for roleblocker when i did. That was in early stages and cop was not yet the popular choice.
The reason i voted for cop was the fact that vgm said that at least one townie can be cleared by the cop.
And also cop is a role which when RCed at the right moment can be very powerful.
Suppose the town through luck lynch the Mafia PR then the cop becomes supreme.
So i thought of that possibility when i voted cop.

Likewise, Cop is a good power role. Scum are very unlikely to kill cop on first few nights as long as the cop knows what they’re doing.

so there is a slight indication of closeness in action and words by these two.(close posts separated by 2 hours or so)

may not mean much but can be interesting to find out more.

Supposing these two are scum partners, they possibly know that kitkat and i have voted for roleblocker when noone else did.

and also we both voted cop last moment, so they were like "hey, let's paint these two as partners and in the process get rid of 2 townies"(4 townies if counting the night kills for the two days).

i say "Good Luck, boys"

 

or they may be just innocent bystanders, if i recall correctly, both of these two are new to mafia , so they may be just in the beginners rush to  save town and stuff.

so i can't say for sure whether they are mafia or town.

but if one of these two is killed and turns out to be scum, then things will get interesting,

Nah. I just wanted to stir the pot and see what starts to emerge. Just because lach and I have similar opinions on the voting paterns doesn't mean we are partners. Vgmmaster also Express similar thoughts too, but I did notice you left him out there and decided to just group lachiton and me together.

So that gives me two potential thoughts: either you are a townie and are just trying to defend yourself since I just voted for you, or you are scum and are trying to paint two people as similar so they must be mafia to get some easy town kills.

Statistically the first option makes the most sense.

I agree with Kevin's day one stance.. for the most part. I don't agree with the no-lynch most of the time. Kevin would say right now that we should either no-lynch or go for the inactives. He wants to give the PR roles a chance to investigated. I agree, however turning the day over to a no-lynch will just make things harder for our PRs. There's nine alive meaning that PR has 1/4 or 25% chance of selecting scum. Along with the second PR having a 25% chance. However, a 50/50 chance of selecting the right scum. Best case scenario in my mind. Scum team selected a Strongman, meaning they're vulnerable to all or PRs. Worst case in my mind is having a godfather. The cop can't pinpoint him nor can the tracker successfully track him, because they will have the goon do the killing. Which actually means 1/8 chance of hitting scum. The tracker can accidentally oust the cop. Right now 1/8 will just be randomly picked. I think we need a lynch to make it 1/7, and a few wagons to help them selecting their candidate.
