How does a Strongman negate all the other possible choices? It does negate the doctor and roleblocker, but it doesn't do jack against the tracker or watcher.

I agree with Kevin's day one stance.. for the most part. I don't agree with the no-lynch most of the time. Kevin would say right now that we should either no-lynch or go for the inactives. He wants to give the PR roles a chance to investigated. I agree, however turning the day over to a no-lynch will just make things harder for our PRs. There's nine alive meaning that PR has 1/4 or 25% chance of selecting scum. Along with the second PR having a 25% chance. However, a 50/50 chance of selecting the right scum. Best case scenario in my mind. Scum team selected a Strongman, meaning they're vulnerable to all or PRs. Worst case in my mind is having a godfather. The cop can't pinpoint him nor can the tracker successfully track him, because they will have the goon do the killing. Which actually means 1/8 chance of hitting scum. The tracker can accidentally oust the cop. Right now 1/8 will just be randomly picked. I think we need a lynch to make it 1/7, and a few wagons to help them selecting their candidate.

I've never been a proponent for a no lynch as it negates our ability to find the mafia. Yes, we have a cop and tracker this time, but who's to say they won't get night killed tonight? If you do the math, worst case scenario, the game ends on day 3 via LYLO no matter what. Provided we miss on every lynch and both mafia remain, on the final day we'd have two choose either between 3 townie and 2 mafia or 4 townie and 2 mafia. Having an odd number of people only helps the town.

 

As for the tracker accidentally outing the cop, the only way that happens is if the mafia and cop target the same person. Otherwise, if the cop investigates somebody and that person lives through the night, the watcher gets more powerful since at that point they'll know two confirmed town  (themselves and the cop). The cop on the other hand does not have that luxury, as for as we know, an innocent result could be a godfather. That's not to say a tracker can't whiff as well, but in theory, their results should be more sound (unless the mafia went with a ninja power role).

Also, whose who? Like are Mafia members told who else is Mafia? Are Townies told who else is Townies? Is the cop assigned to someone? Really curious here...

 

I also hear that a Mafia member has a name that starts with an "M"? Can anyone confirm or deny this? I could've dreamed it maybe? Maybe I'm crazy tho???

Doctor and roleblocker do not affect the strongman. Its a sure fire kill. It's better imo to have a cop to find out the strongman and then lynch him maybe.

If not then strongman has unlimited kills rendering a doc useless.
And so the mafia will use the strongman till there is doubt about the strongman in the eyes of the town.
Then they will shift to ninja kills.
They are not going to shift back to strongman after the night of doubt.

 

This post feels townish to me, if only because I sense confusion of MK's part. Might be throwing us off the scent, but if he doesn't understand how the mafia roles work (they don't switch mid-game), I have a hard time believing him to be scum at the present time.

As for MK, I thought it was pretty well explained in the rules that they pick one role. No where did it say anything about letting them switch roles. So to me it sounds a little bit like manufacturered misdirection.

For rafay he could have just meant maybe as in maybe having the cop is the best option idk.

Rafay is simply deflecting the question by fixating his answer on strongman and not on why he didn't choose tracker/watcher if he felt strongman was mafia PR. Did he forget that town was supposed to choose two roles? Bit suspicious.

 

@MK, if you read my post carefully, I never accused you of being scum. I was just surprised that you would stick with role blocker as your first choice even when you yourself considered strongman to be the likely choice as mafia PR. You only warmed up to cop after everybody had already voted for it, which you admitted.

Actually I have more suspicions on Kitkat than you at this point. If we consider you town, then It is very likely that Kitkat conveniently decided to latch on to a confirmed townie's choice so that if questioned about it, he can ride on the coattails of your defense and clear his name. Or if it doesn't work, have his possible scum partner SeaBee come out with a lulz post and cast a joke vote on him, with him returning the favor, all in a lighter mood   .

It was not ninja kills just normal goony kills.
Apparently Autocorrect thought otherwise.

So i said after there is suspicion on strongman then the mafia will shift to normal kills.
This was meant to be given there.
