I played as an SK once, it was my first ever time playing a mafia game.  I killed N1 and got caught, I think by Imran following me.  Haven't seen a SK used very much in the games I've played so not sure what most choose to do.  I can see both sides of why not to kill or to kill N1, I personally still think as an SK I'd still kill N1 merely to narrow down the numbers of players, as you simply are on your own.  Not sure revealing there's a SK really hurts an SK, as being neutral to either side, you wouldn't mind helping/seeing scum lynched during the day, and very easily can hide within town actively scum hunting.

I think you guys are missing a possibility. However small there a chance, that the SK has a bonus kill that he kills anybody visiting his target as well. Think about it. What if one of the town targeted vgm, werewolf/sk attacks vgm. Kills both. I think it strong man or something to do with werewolf. Since Ali was a JOAT, what if he targeted vgm with one of his many powers. Maybe tracking, watcher, cop. I think this may explain the 3 deaths. I've used it on a game I've modded in the past. Except my role was a spacial 1 shot ability.

There's definitely more than one faction at play here and most likely an SK is involved. Anyone who says otherwise is probably SK himself.....

@MOD: If a power role is killed, will his night action go through or not, i.e. does killing a power role mean he got killed before he could use his ability or is he killed after using his ability.

Um we already know that there are definitely three factions at minimum. 

It's not confirmed we have a SK, though it is likely.

2 scum factions + SK seems like a bit of overkill to me. It's tough to reconcile that, however, with the fact that 3 people did die last night. I'd really like to hear KevinH explain if cupid could be the cause of this?

Whoops I see it now. So if I'm reading that right.. Cupid could be the cause of it? If that's the case then Cupid probably was the cause and 1 scum faction + SK.

OK then. 

 

So that opens up the possibility of cupid causing the 3rd death. It cupid was the cause, it would be something like this:

 

VGM targets say ABT

Mafia buddy of VGM kills TW

Werewolf factions kills VGM

which results in ABT dying as well.

 

So no SK in above scenario.

considering what my role is, I am 90% sure there is a sk

 

(and no my role is not the sk lol)

 

if there is no SK then that will mean brewers is lying.

Actually going through the Cupid role again, I am gonna update my above proposed scenario.

 

As per the Role PM link given by Kevin

 

• Cupid: During Night 1, you may PM me the name of another player. Every player that targets this player (except you) will become Lovers with them.

 

So the updated scenario will be something like this in case of 3rd death due to cupid:

 

Lets say vgm targetted TW at night

ABT uses one of his JOAT roles on TW

Mafia buddy of vgm kills TW

which results in ABT dying as well

Werewolf faction kills vgm

However in this scenario it doesnt make sense why mafia buddy of vgm will kill TW on N1 instead of waiting for a few more nights.

I think it went more like this.

VGM targeted TW. (Could of been Ali, but if I was VGM I'd of chosen TW.).
Mafia kills ali.
Werewolf kills VGM.
TW dies due to be newly lover of VGM.

Werewolf is the SK. We can only guess what Ali did. I don't think he'd use a kill ability n1, that makes no sense.

well lets just say I would love it if the SK decided to attack me, since it would then just be a total waste of his action for that night!

so please, Mr or Mrs SK, please assume im lying and attack me tonight

also:  I only said 90% sure, meaning if there ends up not being an SK, the role which I was given will be completly pointless.  So I am assuming there is most likely a sk while acknowledging the fact that KH could be using the role as a red herring to make me think there is a sk to add another wrinkle to the game, when in fact i would just be a vanilla townie,

also, I feel the mafia would have tried to wait longer to get more kills out of the cupid,

 

so I am guessing it went more like this

 

the SK/WW kills VGM

Mafia kills TW

the sk/WW kills Ali

 

I am guessing there is both a mafia faction and ww faction and an sk that is either immune to the mafia kills or the ww kills

my reasoning for thinking the mafia only got one kill is that TW could not target Ali, so the cupid would have to have targeted TW for a double kill, and then Ali would have had to target TW, and if any other player would have targeted TW they would have become lovers and died.    I think its far more likely that a WW Faction, a Mafia Faction, and SK exist

Brewers, there was no point in revealing that a sk can't kill you unless you were actually attacked during the night. Now the sk, probably won't target you, or the odds of that happening has plummeted. That's a poor move.

That RC was 1) uncalled for and 2) stupid. I'm not buying it and even if he doesn't end up claiming the role he was, we at least know for certain that a SK exists
