We should analyze all previous posts mentioning hostility towards these three. We can find a lead somewhere.

I am a town reloader. I can refill any x Shots for proven town. Think I'll claim this now as it is relativitely minor, just a slightly more powerful VT. Don't claim X-shots till you are ready, or you will likely get killed tonight. But when you do I will give you another go.

A reloader actually seems like quite a possible role in this game.  Merely for the sense that we now know we have a retired hunter role and a cupid role, both not really normal roles we see in mafia, a reloader being another unusual role to see makes me think it's quite possible.  Plus all 3 had PR roles, which makes it seem like a Mass PR game.  

Though I don't get why Lego would role claim like this.  it's basically a slightly more powerful role then a VT why the hell he would claim it when no votes have even been cast and outing himself with a minor role actually hurts the rest of town.  Scum now do not have to worry about killing you at night, and instead can go after others with maybe more powerful roles.  

I see 0 purpose of Lego doing that.  Be one thing if he had a lot of votes going his way, but it's early D2.

My guess is there's likely 2 scum factions and either a 3rd faction or a SK as others have pointed out.  Makes for an interesting game.

With such a large game, I think Imran hit it on the head. We have a Werewolf faction, mafia faction, and more than likely, an SK. My thing is though, traditionally, an SK never acts on N1. This is where I'm thinking there may be another factor at place. AbT (JoaT) might have investigated someone while having a weak modifier that we aren't told about. A cupid role might have also aligned TW and AbT together, or Vgm and AbT together. I'm 50/50 on a SK atm, as it seems the most reasonable, but again, a SK acting on N1 WITHOUT knowing beforehand we'd have so many deaths (3) is where I'm doubtful to a degree.

Lego's claim does draw attention too. Such a quick claim on D2, when no one has mentioned anything yet. No Roles have claimed, though if someone has a 'x'-shot role, it might entice them to claim. Problem then would be is Lego being truthful or trying to get roles to claim to target them.

I have to agree with Rhizo here. Why would lego RC so early in D2 when there's no pressure on him yet? Maybe he was thinking about the accusations that came his way last day and wants to make sure town doesn't waste their night abilities on him? Even then he should have waited to see how this day pan out before claiming. 

 

As for the setup it is a challenge for town. We have to contend with possible 2 scum factions and on top of that there may be a SK who will play for his own. We will also need to see whether those 3 kills had anything more in them than meets the eye.

This part interests me. If you dont mind can you shed more light on why SK won't kill anyone on N1? Is it to not draw attention that theres a SK in the midst? Because as far as I know SK doesn't care whether they kill town or scum as long as they can last till the end.

Why would he?
Assuming the SK knew nothing of multiple factions, the SK would only know that 1 death would occur tonight. A 2nd death would instantly draw attention to another faction existing, and the SK would've outed himself early on. The hunt for the SK begins and now people are evaluating posts to see "does that sound like something a SK would say?" instead of "Does that sound something a mafia/town would say?"

I've never seen an SK act on N1 and that is where my assumption is coming from. Whether previous games had modifiers denying this or the SK themselves did not act N1 to avoid attention is probably another factor. I'd rather believe an SK exists and be on the lookout than to think it was a situation like a weak modifier and overlook a SK, but I just haven't seen an SK act on N1. That is my only reasoning for my post. It drew my attention to see everyone instantly jump on it being an SK and overlooking other possibilities like a weak modifier, lover connections (cupid role), etc.

From personal experience, I don’t like killing as SK N1 because I try to hide as town for as long as I can. Although that’s usually because games I’ve played announce how the person died. 

 

Either way, everyone seems confident that there’s an SK, so all factions will be keeping their eyes out for him immediately.

I’m confused by why you say the scum vet, if there is one, isn’t a jokester. As I stated earlier, SBG has frequently been scum, but he often used humor. I’m not fingering anyone atm, I’m just wondering why you are thinking this.

​He only appears to be a jokester. Really he's very ambitious, moving up the ranks, preparing to coup The Warrior. He just uses humor to disarm his enemies and gain allies but underneath it's all very serious business.

I dont think I have ever played as a SK, but I would think the SK would want to use his kill ability as often as possible to cut down town power roles as much as possible and to kill mafia as well, as his only chance of winning is when he can no longer be lynched by others.

ps: I dont think the 3rd death was due to the cupid. If the cupid is killed N1, he was killed before he could use his ability on anyone, although this is something that kevin can clarify.

 

@MOD: If a power role is killed, will his night action go through or not, i.e. does killing a power role mean he got killed before he could use his ability or is he killed after using his ability.

Also I'm not so sure if a SK would be in play as there already seem to be more than one anti town faction with TW being revealed as a Retired Werewolf Hunter. 4 different factions seem a little bit much, even in a game with about 20 players. As these bigger games seem to usually be very PR heavy, my guess is that, also seeing the more unusual roles that the 3 people that were killed had, mafia/werewolves targeted someone who can kill anyone that visits them during night. I remember that such a role existed when I browsed the mafia wiki site months ago, but can't remember what it's called. That to me makes more sense than throwing in another faction, but we'll have to wait and see if that theory is correct. As of right now I think it's safe to say that nobody is VT

Your reasoning thus far has been very thin. If the entirety of your reasoning is just that you felt like giving scum a target, there's one problem there, with your role being so irrelevant unless another role claims, they can just leave you alive since you are by no means a confirmed townie, and that gives them a smaller pool of townies from which to try to kill the more important power roles. Plus leaving you alive is basically just bait for someone to role claim for a refill to get them killed.
